- "This evacuation isn't for you. Good luck with the apocalypse though!"
- ―The alien Nihil, to Zeen Mrala and Krix Kamerat
An alien male individual served as a member of the Nihil marauders, within the crew of Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro's ship, the Gaze Electric. In 232 BBY, they helped evacuate Elder Tromak from the planet Trymant IV when it was threatened by an Emergence of the Great Hyperspace Disaster. Under Ro's orders, the alien fought against the Jedi trying to commandeer the Nihil's Spider Cruiser Squall Spider, not wanting to let their vessel be used for evacuating civilians.

The alien Nihil helped evacuate Elder Tromak from Trymant IV, leaving others behind.
An alien male individual was a member of the Nihil marauders during the High Republic Era.[1] At some point, Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro drastically reduced the crew on his ship, the Gaze Electric, only leaving a small group,[2] including the alien.[1] In 232 BBY, Ro orchestrated a collision between the Byne Guild freighter Legacy Run and an obstacle that resulted in the Great Hyperspace Disaster, which spurred Emergences—pieces of hyperspace debris—emerging from space and impacting celestial bodies throughout the galaxy.[3] After being informed one such Emergence would threaten several locations in the Trymant system,[2] Ro resolved to kidnap Elder Tromak off the planet Trymant IV before its destruction, due to his knowledge of where to find part of an ancient relic the Eye sought.[4] Ro and several other Nihil,[2] including the alien, used[1] the Spider Cruiser[5] Squall Spider to travel to the planet's surface.[1]
As flaming chunks of debris began raining down on Bralanak City, the alien and several other Nihil disembarked the cruiser, wielding their blaster rifles. Tromak met the group, intending to flee Trymant IV aboard the Squall Spider willingly. When the young Disciples Krix Kamerat and Zeen Mrala tried to leave with Tromak, the alien Nihil held out a hand and rebuffed them, indicating that the evacuation was only for the Elder. After the alien sarcastically wished them luck in the upcoming apocalypse, the children protested, prompting the alien to challenge them to try to get past the Nihil. Tromak interceded on the children's behalf and begged the marauders to let them live, though the alien Nihil hesitated, noting that Ro had instructed them to rescue only the former.[1]

When confronted, the alien Nihil challenged civilians to try to board the Squall Spider by getting past them.
Moments after, a group of Jedi Padawans led by Padawan Lula Talisola asked the Nihil to borrow their Spider Cruiser to evacuate Bralanak City's civilians. The alien Nihil expressed disgust at being asked to give up their ship to a group of children, with another Nihil noting that they were also Jedi. The alien and their colleagues began firing on the Padawans as Kamerat and Mrala dived out of the way, starting a skirmish. Amidst the firefight, Ro lowered the Squall Spider's boarding ramp and commanded his Nihil to kill all of the Jedi.[1] The alien fought against the Padawans and Jedi Masters Yoda and Torban Buck, and although they were knocked to the ground at least once, they continued fighting afterward. Eventually, the Spider Cruiser fled Trymant IV, escaping the Jedi Vector blockade in the planet's skies.[5]
Personality and traits[]
- "And what makes you think we'd hand our ship to a bunch of kids, hm?"
- ―The alien Nihil, to Lula Talisola
The Nihil was willing to follow orders strictly, only wanting to evacuate Tromak per Ro's orders and not save any other individuals, even if they were children. They expressed further disgust with the concept of giving the Squall Spider to Jedi Padawans to use[1] and were willing to follow Ro's orders to kill the group of Jedi.[5] The Nihil was a humanoid alien that had orange skin.[1]

They also donned a red gas mask with brown tubing and white spikes, brown braces on their lower arms and legs, a grey bandolier, and a brown belt with a grey buckle and brown utility pouches. The Nihil carried a grey, long-barreled blaster rifle and completed their outfit with spiked grey shoulder coverings.[1]
