A rebel squad served in the Alliance to Restore the Republic's army during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire.[1] By 0 BBY,[2] the squad was part of a convoy transporting civilians to a hidden rebel world. The convoy was attacked by the Empire, and the transport the squad was on escaped into hyperspace. The transport's hyperdrive eventually gave out near the planet Tatooine, where the damaged ship crashed. The survivors set up camp at the crash site, but were attacked by the Imperial forces led by stormtrooper Captain Terro. The squad fought back against Terro as he began taking survivors aboard his dropship. During the fight, the squad was aided by some of Jabba the Hutt's men and together they forced Terro and his forces to flee.[1]
More of Jabba's forces then arrived and began loading the remaining survivors aboard skiffs and transported them to Jabba's Palace. At the palace, the squad was brought before Jabba who told them they were indebted to him and forced the group into servitude. The group checked on the survivors who were kept in the prison before heading out on a mission for Jabba the Hutt. Upon returning, they checked back in on the survivors before being summoned before Jabba for another mission. An Imperial listening post had been disrupting Jabba's smuggling operations, so the squad was sent to the Great Pit of Carkoon with the goal of acquiring an Imperial code cylinder. At the pit, the group fought off Imperial forces and found a code cylinder on one of the bodies.[1]
After escaping with the code cylinders, the squad was sent to the listening post with one of Jabba's bounty hunters. Making their way through the post, the group eventually finds one of the survivors that had been taken by Terro suspended in a bacta tank. Releasing them from the tank, the survivor explained that the others had been taken to Terro's camp. Venturing further through the post, the group eventually encountered and fought Captain Terro. Defeated, Terro explained to the group that the other survivors were safe at his camp and that he would take them there if they let him live. The rebels took the deal, much to the distaste of the bounty hunter who turned on the rebels. Terro aided the rebels in their fight against the bounty hunter and honoring his word, he gave the rebels coordinates to the camp.[1]
At the camp, Terro explained to the rebels that he joined the Empire to protect people from criminals like Jabba the Hutt. Jabba still had some of the survivors imprisoned, so Terro united with the rebels to assault Jabba's palace and free the survivors. At the dead of night, the rebel squad and Captain Terro made there way to the palace. They used explosives to blast a hole into the palace wall and entered with Captain Terro leading the charge on a dewback. They fought through Jabba's guards and towards the audience chamber. Splitting up, Terro went to the prison to free the survivors while the rebels confronted Jabba in his audience chamber. Defeating both Jabba and his rancor, the rebels, Terro, and the survivors escape from the palace on a speeder. With everyone safe, the squad and survivors left Tatooine.[1]
