- "A survivor of one such attack, a security guard himself, claims the witness was not working alone."
- ―The bounty posting on MI-726 describes the guard.
A male security guard worked at an Imperial factory during the reign of the Galactic Empire. While the guard was working at the facility the rogue MI-series security droid, MI-726 attacked the factory and encountered the guard. The droid insulted the guard's heritage and legitimacy before setting off an explosion that destroyed the entire factory. However, the individual survived and provided a statement on the attack to Imperial authorities in which he claimed the droid had not worked alone. The statement was then used as part of a bounty posting placed on the Imperial Enforcement DataCore for MI-726.[1]
Behind the scenes
The guard was created as part of the "Bounties to Die For" article in the sixth issue of Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Gamer magazine series. The magazines were supplements for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game and the guard was included as part of an entry on MI-726 written by S. Mitch Ritchie. The article states only that the bounties are posted by the Empire but does not give a specific era in which they are set.
