A model of service droid was used for repairs by the Galactic Empire.[2] The droid's head was modified from the KX-series security droid.[1] The self-made pilot droid L3-37 had a similar body design[4] to the service droid model.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The service droid model first appeared in Darth Vader (2020) 37, which was written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Raffaele Ienco.[2] The service droid features the same head design as a monster droid model, which Ienco has clarified has a modified KX-series head.[5] As the service droid has the same head design, he reasoned they too must have modified KX-series heads.[1]

Basically curious about how I should define the crush pirates. You seem to draw them as being built out of old battle droid parts, is that correct?")" (backup link)
