A slicer was active during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire.[1] By 3643 BBY,[2] they were being tracked by a bounty hunter, who was offering payment for information on the slicer's location.[1]
Around that year, an individual affiliated with one of the Cold War's two warring factions had a companion of theirs search for information on the slicer's whereabouts. The companion was able to give the bounty hunter a tip that resulted in the slicer's capture.[1]

The slicer was mentioned in the Crew Skill mission "Elusive Prey" in the 2011 BioWare video game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[1]
