A star system was located in the Metatessu sector of the Mid Rim Territories. The system was devoid of life and possessed a crimson-colored sun.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry carried out maintenance to its CR90 corvette, the Thunderstrike, at the edge of the system. However, an Imperial destroyer arrived to engage the 61st, having followed a hypermatter trail left by the corvette.[1]

The destroyer moved into firing range of the Thunderstrike, but the corvette's escort, the Braha'tok-class gunship Apailana's Promise and its two X-wing starfighters, swiftly responded to defend the larger rebel vessel. Although one X-wing was crippled by a glancing blow, the 61st was able to flee into hyperspace. After being attacked two more times, the rebels eventually discovered that they were leaving a hypermatter trail for the Empire to follow.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The star system appeared in the 2015 novel Battlefront: Twilight Company, written by Alexander Freed.[1]
