- "Admiral, we're taking fire, should we turn around?"
- ―The pilot's last words
A human pilot served in the Resistance fleet during their war against the First Order.[2] In the year 34 ABY,[1] during the Battle of Oetchi he piloted a U-55 orbital loadlifter, and, after witnessing the destruction of two other transports at the hands of the Supreme Leader's Star Dreadnought Supremacy asked Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo whether to turn back or press forward. As Holdo desperately told him to push full-speed ahead to the planet Crait, the pilot and his transport were hit and destroyed.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The pilot first appeared in a hologram in the 2017 film Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi and was portrayed by an uncredited actor.[2]
