A villager lived in Meevai Village on the planet Keelia. During the Imperial Era, the villager attended the wedding of the villagers Asu and Haru. During the wedding, Haru's sister, Saku, unsuccessfully attempted to convince Haru to not give herself up as a hostage to the raider Izuma. The villager was one of several to comment on the situation, whispering that Saku had already lost her parents and would now lose her sister as well.^[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The voice of the villager was heard in "The Village Bride," a short film in the Star Wars: Visions series directed by Hitoshi Haga and written by Haga and Takahito Oonishi. The animated short, produced by Kinema Citrus Co., was released on Disney+^[1] on September 22, 2021.^[2]^[1]
