A first-person shooter video game was in development by Respawn Entertainment and set to be released by Electronic Arts. It was directed by Peter Hirschmann. The game was announced to be in development on January 25, 2022, along with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and a strategy game.[1] Previously, EA had reported a new Star Wars game in development during a 2019 investors' call intended for release in 2022.[3] On February 28, 2024, president of Electronic Arts Laura Miele announced that the game was cancelled.[4]
