Ur-diamonds were a type of diamonds mined from the moon of Nothoiin.[1] The treasury of House Prestor, a noble family from Alderaan, included several thousand credits' worth of such gems.[2] At the time of the Iron Blockade, an acquaintance of Shortpaw ran a small ur-diamond mining operation.[1]
