If you're going to add pages like the ones you've been creating that are parts of a Flight helmet, you need to check that they're actually needed as I don't think they are something that warrants a full article. It's likely the articles will be removed anyway. Commander Code-8 To say hi, press 42 11:12, December 23, 2012 (UTC)

  • I was thinking you could ask an administrator or maybe start up a Senate Hall thread. And I don't even know if we have any articles about specific parts of technology. And also, just because an article is redlinked doesn't mean it absouloutely has to be created. Commander Code-8 To say hi, press 42 11:25, December 23, 2012 (UTC)

The New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology[edit source]

Thank you for making those simple redlink fixes concerning the NEGWT. But don't forget to add a source or appearance whenever you make an article. Fe Nite (talk) 18:41, January 25, 2013 (UTC)

Durel(l)ium[edit source]

If they are both used for hyperdrives, I suppose it's a fair assumption to consider them both the same thing. I'll merge the two pages, thanks. Stake black msg 17:23, January 26, 2013 (UTC)

Creating articles[edit source]

Hey, when you create a new page, please remember to include a list of sources or appearances. Thanks, Supreme Emperor (talk) 22:44, January 26, 2013 (UTC)

  • Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, i'm not sure about appearances/sources in real world articles. Supreme Emperor (talk) 18:33, January 29, 2013 (UTC)

Kilik[edit source]

Thank you for removing those Kilik tribe redlinks. Fe Nite (talk) 16:33, March 12, 2013 (UTC)

RE: redlink template[edit source]

I saw your question on Stake black's page and thought I'd reply. Per the {{Redlink}}, "This template is to be used for articles with more than 5 redlinks. " Hope that answers your question. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 20:07, March 25, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Unidentified droid[edit source]

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but that does not allow you to unilaterally overrule a community decision just because you disagree with it. The article was trash compacted, and it will remain deleted in accordance with that decision. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research.svg (Comlink) 23:29, March 29, 2013 (UTC)

Voice actor[edit source]

Please properly source your voice actor articles. You can link them to Insider's Robot Wars! article. Use the {{InsiderCite}} template. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 18:17, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

  • Thank you. Also, don't forget to add a bullet before the link. * JangFett (Talk) 19:05, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

Redlinks[edit source]

Instead of making quick, one sentence articles to get rid of a redlink, and then the redlink tag, it would be better to just leave them and let someone else make a proper article, using the sources and everything. The redlink template is not a bad thing, and actually lets contributors find more articles with redlinks. Without those tags, it makes it harder to find articles with redlinks to be made, which actually prevents more articles from being made. This or this provides no more information than the context of the sentence the redlink was in, for example. Trip391 (talk) 10:22, August 10, 2013 (UTC)

  • No, it is not better for an article to have one sentence of content, simply to get rid of a redlink. It would appear that the article was already made, when it only has that one sentence made using context clues. The redlink tags aren't marking the article as bad, simply that it (or rather its content) needs expansion. The redlink tag allows users to easily find articles that need to be created, rather than having to search through articles that were already created, having to find the articles with little to no content. If you're not going to fully flesh out an article, or add more than a sentence gained from the context surrounding the redlink, then there is no reason to make it. If an article has less than five redlinks, go ahead, delete the tag; but don't make articles just so you can remove the tag. Trip391 (talk) 10:47, August 10, 2013 (UTC)
    • That is not a hard and fast rule, and I'd like to repeat Trip's warning. Please stop spamming one- or two-sentence articles just so you can remove the redlink tag. Leave the links to someone with the proper sources who is willing to create more than a stub. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit.svg Calrayn 13:07, August 10, 2013 (UTC)
  • The hell? We're berating people for creating articles now?, please feel free to ignore Trip's message and continue filling in redlinks. Creating articles is certainly not spamming, and a stub is better than no article at all. Menkooroo (talk) 14:15, August 10, 2013 (UTC)
    • Now that I'm fully awake, the actual problem I saw before being distracted by Trip's message was the removal of links just so you can remove the redlink template. That is not acceptable. While I'd rather have a full article than stub, there is nothing wrong with filling in redlinks with stubs; I was confusing your edits with another who has not been formatting their articles properly and has been spamming articles without the stub template or other formatting. My apologies. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit.svg Calrayn 17:44, August 10, 2013 (UTC)
      • It seems that you are on a mission to remove redlink templates. If there is a template, for whatever reason, consider if you can create an article for it. That would be more beneficial than removing a template just because it doesn't have perceived minimum requirements. Keep in mind that some templates are made when more than five redlinks exist. The goal of the template is to direct attention to the article until all of the links are fixed. If you remove it because you see that the article has 4 or less at the time of your edit, then you hinder that process. —GethralkinHyperwave 03:03, August 27, 2013 (UTC)
        • It's fine that you are trying to create as many articles from the redlinks as possible. I only saw that you were removing the {{Redlink}} tag without the appropriate article creation. —GethralkinHyperwave 13:12, August 27, 2013 (UTC)

Appearances[edit source]

When putting appearances in an article, make sure that the appearances are correct, and are in chronological order. Trip391 (talk) 10:22, August 10, 2013 (UTC)

Properly signing comments[edit source]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wookieepedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! Trip391 (talk) 10:47, August 10, 2013 (UTC)

I actually did that, I just didn't know about the unsigned template. 10:54, August 10, 2013 (UTC)

Appearances, again[edit source]

If something does not appear in a source, it should not be listed as appearing. Trip391 (talk) 10:49, August 13, 2013 (UTC)

  • Yeah, sorry about that, my mistake. 10:58, August 13, 2013 (UTC)
