"File:Weirdxwing.jpg" Edit

Since this is a duplicate image, where is the original? I wish to include it on an article about this type of fighter. If it is not an X-wing, it needs its own article.JustinGann 16:09, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

thx Edit

thank you for that;)JustinGann 16:34, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Please check out my comments/question on Graestan's talk page regarding this FAN, and lend your impartial administrative input if you don't mind? Given the circumstances, I feel that the measure taken by the other party was inappropriate. Please advise, thanks.Tommy928117px (Peace is a lie) 09:18, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Tobacco 107Edit

  • Of course, Administrator Tremayne. If I might simply point out the cover, you will see that Lando Calrissian is smoking a cigar. I am taking the liberty of copying the image here, so you can simply click on it and see it in detail. IMHO, even if I cannot say when this image was supposed to take place, it suggests that Calrissian is canonically a smoker.--Skippy Farlstendoiro 07:40, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
    • Yes, I was just assuming, and it might well have been a daring assumption once I could analyse all the options. I considered T'bac as an alternative, but I was only familiar with Dannik Jerriko's pipe-smoking method to assimilate T'bac; however, Calrissian is a cigarra smoker as said in cigarra. As I have no other proof to support the tobacco hyperlin k in the page, feel free to remove it.--Skippy Farlstendoiro 08:18, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

How do you archive a talk page? Mine has been running since Dec 2005 and is rather long in the tooth. P.S. I am guessing from your image of Cody you are a Marve fan?JustinGann 13:59, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Enzeen Edit

I uploaded an image for the Enzeen page. I hope its ok. It looks better than the last one. Zakor1138 02:24, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Gavyn Sykes non-fanon Edit

If Lt. Sykes hadn't destroyed the shield generator, Anakin would not have been able to fly inside the Droid Control Ship and destroy it from within. He would either have A) blown up when he hit the shields, or B) simply failed to do anything useful. Therefore Sykes' action (as seen in the Battle for Naboo) video game, allowed Anakin's life to follow a certain path, which in turn led Palpatine to take and interest him after his 'victory', and so start his journey down the path to the dark side. I feel the comment should therefore remain in, as Sykes' actions were pivotal to the entire Naboo victory, and to Anakin's role as "a great pilot".

User Page Edit

Thanks for reverting my userpage after it was vandalized. I'm glad someone noticed it so quickly. Flag-Waving American Patriot 19:58, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

All right, just addressing a couple of your concerns about IG-88A here. I'm working on expanding the BTS, although it'll take a bit of time. In regard to your objection about the main image, that image probably is intended to be B. I plan on using File:IG-88 NEGTC.jpg or File:IG-assassin negtd.jpg as the main image, and then replace the equipment one with the other of the above two. I think IG-88A has a very minor role in The Hero, but I'll do what I can to expand it (I don't own the comic, so it might take some time though). I can probably expand YJK too, although he's a minor background character in that series. And finally, do you think I'll need to list all appearances in which the DSII appears a month prior to the Battle of Endor (that's when IG-88A took over)? Thanks for the assistance. Chack Jadson (Talk) 17:09, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Darth Nemo Dak Edit

Thanks for the fix of my silly mistake on Darth Nemo Dak. You'd think copying the template I was using into the summary line would have tipped me off on the fact that I WAS USING THE WRONG NAME. ::::Facepalm:::: jSarek 00:53, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm in the locked-out-of-my-account phase, so I'm addressing your objections here.

  • Well, it's a simple way of saying, "They died on the Death Star." You're right that it's misleading, though, so I've changed it to a still slightly misleading, but not technically wrong and much simpler than the alternative phrasing.
  • Well, they're in two different contexts. The second one is really just a reminder of "Remember how he had that reputation?" and a "Well, here's what it led to" lead-in to the endorsements. In an article this long, I think you can hit the same point two or three times if it's needed, and I think here it works.
    • You've got your reword. Havac 03:26, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
  • I think that was one I had to fix because of someone else's objections, and it looks like it got confused in the process. I think I've got a cleaner form up now.
  • Missed your Hoth bit. GG3 is the source for Klivian surviving (since it has him around after the crash); Who's Who in Echo Base is the source for Ommis surviving, as it apparently has him around after TESB (I just got a summary of it from Tope). I've stuck in some NEGTC refs, though, as the source that ties it all together. Havac 01:02, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
  • Changed.
  • Do you mean to suggest they're not related?
  • You redlinking bastard. This just proves why we shouldn't have redlink limits for FAs. Yeah, go ahead and add them. That Harran article absolutely should be split.
  • No article is perfect. Havac 07:10, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Sorry if you've already noticed this, and plan to check over it soon, but I believe I've fixed your objection to IG-88A (about the BTS). Chack Jadson (Talk) 17:42, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Yeah, I'll deal with Acky's objecton first, which is mainly changing the order and such, and perhaps that will resolve your concerns. Cheers. Chack Jadson (Talk) 19:51, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Jag Edit

There's no source for Jag? I don't mean to doubt your reliability, but I was under the impression there was something about him in the databank. This is in reference to the regular trooper "Jag" not the pilot from Episode 3. --Shadowxander 03:23, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Thanks for double checking. There's been a couple of those so far from that episode alone. I dont't have the best computer and any work on is slow and tedious to load so I don't like to mess with the databank personally. Anyway, good catch. I'm working on the List of clone troopers as a sort of personal project and keeping fanon out of the equation gets tricky. Thanks again. --Shadowxander 21:54, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Queue Edit

Hey, we ended up both queing Aybock at the same time. I left a space for him on Dec 26 and you left one on Dec 28. Whichever works, but one should be deleted. :P Toprawa and Ralltiir 23:41, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Squib companies Edit

Hi, Cull. I'm curious why you re-redirected Squib Merchandising to Squib Merchandising Consortium. According to Galaxy Guide 4, "the political structure of Squib society is centered around the Squib Merchandising Consortium, an Imperially chartered corporation which collects detritus from space . . . refurbishes it or repackages it, then resells it." The Squib databank entry says, "The Squibs have established numerous large corporations, like Squib Reclamation, and Squib Merchandising." It's unclear to me that Squib Merchandising is the same thing as the Squib Merchandising Consortium, so it seems like original research to assume such. What do you think? ~ SavageBob 07:09, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, the "merchandising" part of the name sorta implies that they sell stuff, but I get your point. :) No worries about any of this; I'll just add a line to Squib Merchandising Consortium's "Behind the scenes" section. What do you think about the Databank's Squib Reclamation? Is this probably the Squib Reclamation Fleet they're referring to? ~ SavageBob 07:26, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

AT-AT Swimmer in Legacy Edit

According to Omar Francia in Insider 107, page 59: "There's also a new AT-AT swimmer design." There's even some pics of the 3-D model they used. So, I'm going to merge your article with AT-AT Swimmer. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 14:35, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

  • I'd probably prefer that it have it's own article too, but now that you mentioned the Republic AT-ATs, I'd rather not push for that. ;) I already added Insider 107 to the sources list; I suppose I could work up a BTS tomorrow. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 23:39, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Thank you sir for moving "Kowakian Monkey-Lizard" to its new title and then correcting all the links. Did you see my request on Mr. Cavalier One's talk page or did you just see that it needed to be done? TheAinMAP 21:12, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Wow Edit

So somehow I just stumbled upon your FA Writing Machines essay for the first time. First - pretty impressive, if odd. Second, a clarification: "Cooper was apparently satisfied with his articles and all but left the Wiki." I mostly just wanted to make a really awesome page for Booster (I'd already done something similar for Gorm, though it was probably too short to be worth a FA), but my feelings about devoting that much time to other articles were soured by the seemingly relentless defense some aspects of the article ended up requiring. I'm way too touchy about my writing to have to justify the precise wording of every sentence to every random person on here. A combination of that and free time issues led to me backing off as a serious editor, though I'm still here all the time for research purposes, and I still edit a bit when I see mistakes or minor omissions. So...y'know. Just for the record. Coop 07:50, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

The new Triage system Edit

After the Inquisitorius' most recent meeting, it was decided to enact a triage system for dealing with the large number of nominations on the FAN page. The Triage page has been set up in the Inquisitorius forum to make it easier for Inqs to see what nominations are best focused on for clearing out the nomination page. This is a tool for helping Inqs combine their efforts on articles, and shouldn't be taken as mandatory; as usual, any Inq is free to review any article they want. - Lord Hydronium 03:16, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Inq Meeting XXV Edit

An Inquisitorius meeting has been scheduled for 23:00 UTC on the 24th of May. Your presence is requested. Apologies for the late notice. Thefourdotelipsis 23:53, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

The new INQCON system is now in effect. For details on this new tool, please review the linked page. It is requested that you check any current featured article nominations that you have fully read and are currently objecting to, and change the respective INQCON number on the nomination if you are intending to ultimately support the article once your objections have been resolved. Also, please remember to change the Triage page when altering INQCON numbers. Any queries about the process can be made on the afore-linked INQCON page. Thanks, Thefourdotelipsis 00:42, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

A new Triage meeting has been scheduled for next Sunday, June 14, at 23:00 UTC. We hope you will be able to attend, as there are a fair amount of nominations that need sorting. Chack Jadson (Talk) 13:54, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Inq meetingEdit

Hello. An Inq meeting is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, at 2300 UTC. Please try to attend, because we will be talking about the current state of the FAN page, what with all the summer noms. Apologies for the late notice. Chack Jadson (Talk) 00:55, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Inq meeting 28Edit

Hello. Inq meeting 28 has been scheduled. It will be held Sunday, September 6th at 0:00 UTC. Cheers. Chack Jadson (Talk) 15:17, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Well, this is a complicated issue, so bear with me as I try to explain this. On page 321 in the paperback version, PoD mentions that there have been six battles. I believe at another point, the book says that three have been won by the Jedi and three by the Sith. After this, there are two more battles, the one where Bane leads the Sith in ritual, and the thought bomb one. IIRC, the one that you described as the sixth (the "glorious battle") could be the 4th, 5th, or 6th; no info is presented between the 3rd and the Bane-led ritual besides the fact that the "glorious battle" takes place somewhere in there. Does that make sense? Chack Jadson (Talk) 20:49, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

  • After looking through some sources again, I've come to the conclusion that I'm wrong. PoD is the one source with wrong information, not JvS, CSWE, or EGttF. I'm going to revert myself and we'll have seven battles of Ruusan again. I'll wait till you respond, just to see if we're in concurrence. Chack Jadson (Talk) 20:41, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

Solar Grazer in the Battle of Nar Shaddaa Edit

Hello, Cull Tremayne. I noticed that, a very long time ago, you specified that Rooty's CRX-tug Solar Grazer took part in the Battle of Nar Shaddaa, apparently based on some information from Unusual Suspects. I've been reading that article once and again and I can't find any reference to that Battle. Can you pinpoint the page, paragraph and line mentioning that Rooty fought in the Battle? Skippy Farlstendoiro 12:35, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

  • Thank you for your answer and for editing the references yourself. --Skippy Farlstendoiro 06:29, May 25, 2010 (UTC)

Some outstanding objections Edit

Hey Cull, just thought I'd mention that I've left some yet-to-be-addressed objections on Drebble and Eelysa. Take a look at them when you get the chance. Thefourdotelipsis 07:03, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

WP:NSW check-in Edit

A look to the future…
Hello Cull, happy new year! This is a friendly check-in from your new project head of WookieeProject New Sith Wars. Our activity has been lagging a bit of late, with only one new Featured article and one new Good article in the last three months, and no Comprehensive articles at all since their creation back in June. If you're still interested in participating in the project, I'd like to encourage you to pick an article or two to write and mark it down on our current projects listing when you have the chance. Also, if you have any questions/suggestions regarding WP:NSW, don't hesitate to ask/let me know. Let's see if we can't get this project up and running! Cheers! Your project head, Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 07:17, January 4, 2011 (UTC)
