Talk pages Edit

Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Before posting talk page comments, please familiarize yourself with the disclaimer at the top of talk pages, {{Talkheader}}. Talk pages are for discussion relating to changes to the article, not for a discussion about the topic in question. Thank you. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 21:16, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

RE. Hi Edit

Hi back!!

Thanks for being my fan, I've never had someone say that to me before. :D

If you need any help I am always willing to help anyone (even a Sith :D). (don't forget to look at FAQ first though)

--Master Liz I am not the Jedi you are looking for 21:23, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

P.S. please always sign your posts with four tides (the key above the TAB)

Signature Edit

Okay here we go with how to sign your posts 101 :D (remember "Do or do not there is no try" Yoda)

First question: Are you typing four little tides at the end of what you write??

--Master Liz I am not the Jedi you are looking for 21:45, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Tides are little squiggles (their key is above the TAB key on your keyboard) Or you can sign with the signature button. --Master Liz I am not the Jedi you are looking for 22:03, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

So when do you use tides.

Thanks!! --Master Liz I am not the Jedi you are looking for 03:28, September 1, 2010 (UTC)

Are you still having trouble or did you figure the "tides thing" out? Thanks! --Master Liz I am not the Jedi you are looking for 00:26, September 8, 2010 (UTC)

User pageEdit

Thank you. Don't forget to sign your comments, so other users know who you are. The instructions are at the top of each talk page you edit. Jedabak August 18, 2010.

  • A couple things. First, If a picture is already on the site then there is no need to upload it again. Just use the one that's already uploaded. If you're unsure how, please read the guide to image use. Thanks. Secondly, user page galleries are not permitted on Wookieepedia, so you'll want to remove the one from your user page before a site administrator does it for you. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 19:58, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

WarningEdit

If you continue to upload images that are deleted by admins as duplicates, while at the same time completely disregarding all the requirements explicitly spelled out on the upload page, then you will find yourself on the unpleasant end of an administrative action. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 20:04, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

AppearancesEdit

Articles need to have appearances, not just an external link. In addition, please format your articles correct. Check the two articles that I cleaned up to see what I mean. Also, please categorize your creations. Chack Jadson (Talk) 02:15, August 20, 2010 (UTC)

  • That doesn't mean they need to have an appearances section with nothing in it. Please only add the section if you're adding an appearance too. Green Tentacle (Talk) 21:26, August 20, 2010 (UTC)
    • While we're at it, don't unlink something just because it's red, the link should stay in place for when somebody creates the article. And remember that not every short page is a stub. Stubs are articles that are missing a lot of information, but some short articles actually cover pretty much everything. Only add a stub template if you know for a fact that an article is missing information. Green Tentacle (Talk) 21:34, August 20, 2010 (UTC)

ReEdit

Yeah, I suppose you could create it. Chack Jadson (Talk) 20:23, August 31, 2010 (UTC)
