While your edit to CT-27-5555 is appreciated, the page currently has a template called {{Inuse}} at the top. This template means that someone is currently working on improving the article, and to avoid edit conflicts, no one other than the placer of the template should edit the page while the message is visible. Thank you for your cooperation. 1358 (Talk) 19:22, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

  • Again, please heed the Inuse tag. Doesn't matter what you want to add to the article, if it is in use by another user, you DO NOT edit it. Thanks. OLIOSTER (talk) 19:34, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thank you for removing the {{Nickname}} template listed in the CT-5597 article. However, please adhere to the Inuse template in the article. JangFett (Talk) 00:42, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

Hey DarthPrime. Please note that you are coming close to breaking Wookieepedia's three-revert rule, which is a blockable offense on the site. I would recommend that you make sure that you're familiar with all of Wookieepedia's policies before continuing to contribute. In regards to the conflict on Savage Opress: per the reason that I outlined in my edit summary, I don't see why the comic should come after "Witches of the Mist." If you have reasoning to support your view, I'd be happy to hear it, but please do not continually keep reverting others without a reason; such can be a blockable offense. Thank you for your cooperation. CC7567 (talk) 02:28, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Please make sure to pay attention to formatting when editing. Even minor edits like adding appearances to an episode require proper formatting per the Manual of Style, including properly used italics for ship classes. Poor-quality edits are always subject to revision across the site, and that isn't meant to discourage users from editing—it's simply an effort to promote only quality edits on Wookieepedia. Please make sure you are familiar with all of Wookieepedia's policies. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 22:47, September 17, 2011 (UTC)

Yaddle's lightsaber[]

I undid the revision of some wiki contributer who put down that Yaddle's lightsaber was orange. However, that contributer has also changed the light saber color in Yaddle's article. I think this is just based on a picture in the article, which may show the wrong clor, but I am not sure. Do you know what color it truly is by any chance?--501st dogma 22:37, January 11, 2012 (UTC)

Infobox image size[]

Hey. Thanks for updating Tilotny and Splendid Ap. Didn't know the planet had a name now. Hey there. I saw that you'd marked the JO-NO Smelting Operator Droid‎‎ for deletion once you'd added the info to the proper J0-N0 article. For future reference, when merging something to another article it's better to redirect the old using

Pit Droid Award of Diligence

The number of times I (and many other users) have created a new article from a redlink, you've always come in afterwards and added an infobox, added it to the Appearances of the source and probably more stuff. In short, to recognise the hard work you do putting the finishing pieces on new articles, I'd like to award you the Pit Droid Award of Diligence. Keep up the good work! —NAYAYEN 23:01, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

s'Too Vees[]

What was the intent with your edit to s'Too Vees? The CCG card lists his name the way it was capitalized originally. Is there another source with it capitalized differently that is more recent? Unsigned comment by Graestan (talk • contribs).

  • It's more a genuine query than a challenge: is there something I don't know yet, is what I am asking. graestan(talk) 18:18, February 7, 2012 (UTC)

Please be more careful in the future concerning "articles that already exist." The Joker was created back in 2011 and the one Craven edited in was originally a redirect that went to Joker Squad. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 21:23, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

Embo vs Sinrich[]

You added information to both Embo and Sinrich. "While in the box, Embo choked fellow contestant Sinrich for stealing a bounty from him in the past." While Embo certainly strangled Sinrich, I can't find any source that indicates why. Can you provide your source for this motivation, or was it simply speculation? SinisterSamurai 23:38, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

  • My apologies. It stated on Sinrich's page that Embo killed him for that reason. I thought that someone else found a source for it. If there are none, then by all means remove that unverified info. DarthPrime

Hello. When reloading infoboxes, as you have done here, please refrain from adding a number of line spaces, or white space, between the end of the infobox code and the beginning of the Quote template and/or the intro text. For purposes of HTML formatting, we don't include any line breaks there. If you have any questions about this type of thing, feel free to ask. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir 00:14, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

You changed the published date to 7 March. You are WRONG. The release date is 21 March. Google it and check if you wish... Please do not re-change it back. I have made it 21 March again.

Unidentified young recruit[]

Hello, DarthPrime! I see you've created an "unidentified young recruit" article. Just to mention that I intended to create a bigger article about this player character, which you can see in its current state in my sandbox (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/User:LelalMekha/sandbox). I haven't created it directly because my prose is quite poor (I'm not a native speaker of English), and I intend to have it revised and partially rewritten.LelalMekha 00:18, March 19, 2012 (UTC)

I didn't create it. I just put in a infobox for it. DarthPrime

  • Oops, indeed. I should have checked the history first. My bad. :$ Anyways, I could still improve that particular article once mine will be refurbished.LelalMekha 00:22, March 19, 2012 (UTC)

Hey DarthPrime, when tagging articles for speedy deletion as duplicates, it might be worth pointing out exactly which article the CSD is a duplicate of to avoid confusion. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 18:49, March 25, 2012 (UTC)

Just to let you know, per the recent Mofference, all conjectural titled articles must include the parenthesis descriptors in the infoboxes. If you take a look at my edit here, I inserted the parenthesis into the infobox. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 01:02, May 7, 2012 (UTC)

  • I suppose your can refer to the character by their name. DarthPrime
    • But what if you have to use him or her? I have that multiple times in Tirs Maladane. 501st dogma(talk) 23:38, May 14, 2012 (UTC)

CIS wings, groups, and colors[]

I appreciate that you are trying to revamp the CIS Navy stubs, but you are making an assumption on the type of organization that some of the units were. A fighter group is the largest unit of fighters in a navy. It has not been confirmed that the units that you edited were the largest, so those need to be reverted. Id est, a wing is not necessarily a group, and the Geonosian Groups have not been confirmed the largest units, either. Also, I find your choice of colors for the infoboxes conflicting in that they do not fit CIS themes nor are they the default for an organizational infobox. Organization infoboxes have traditionally been gray to indicate a generic organization (one with which little information can be found). Can you please change those back to gray as well, particularly the ones that were voted CANs. CAN articles should never be given drastic changes such as this without a discussion and consensus on the article's Talk page. The reason is that the participating voters and the nominator went through a lengthy process to get the article to pass the required qualifications and meet a consensus of the community concerning standards. If need be (in a drastic situation), you can nominate a comprehensive article to remove its CAN status due to its content not meeting current standards, however changing it without notice is considered rather blunt. Thank you for your cooperation. —GethralkinHyperwave 01:34, May 19, 2012 (UTC)

  • Since there are so many, I will help out in fixing them. —GethralkinHyperwave 01:35, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
    • Also, where are you getting the infobox from? It is not the standard that is current: Template:Organization. Please use the current standard (which is used in the preloads) and remove the Type info from the boxes. Thank you. —GethralkinHyperwave 03:03, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
      • One last thing—and not something that you did in your good-faith edits—check infoboxes that you are editing to make sure they fit the format of the current template. For instance, I saw that you correctly changed the "y"s to "1"s even though they both work, because the numeric is the current standard. Another thing to watch (and I missed a few myself that I caught this time around) is the placement of double braces at the end, }}. They need to follow the last line of data entry directly after the equals sign. So, |affiliation=data}} would be correct and not |affiliation=data with the }} on the next line by itself. I am pretty sure the preload template (at least for Org info) has it corrected from what was used formerly. The intro of the article needs to begin on the line directly after the infobox, with no space in between the box template and the beginning sentence of the article content. Also, any reference tags within the info box need to be enclosed as a parameter in the {{Ref}} template. Therefore, <ref name="Name">Cite</ref> would be enclosed in the Ref template and look like {{Ref|<ref name="Name">Cite</ref>}}, and <ref name="Name" /> would look like {{Ref|<ref name="Name" />}}. Keep up the good work! —GethralkinHyperwave 06:23, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
        • I am not understanding your reasoning for changing the infobox colors from the standard to arbitrary colors. I am assuming that you are making these changes in good faith, however, please do not do this anymore since the colors signify at a glance what the article subject is (i.e. red for a Sith Character infobox, purple for Bureaucrat infobox, etc.). If you continue to arbitrarily tamper with color coding it may appear to others as vandalism, which can induce a block from editing by an admin. —GethralkinHyperwave 21:11, May 29, 2012 (UTC)
          • I am not intentionally vandalizing them. I believed that I should use the appreciate color scheme that each group was affiliated to (i.e. a purple colored infobox for a group affiliated with the Alliance to Restore the Republic since that infobox is purple as well). I also thought that I was allowed since that infobox came with the option of inputting color changes (BG1, BG2). I have seen many infoboxs like that in the past. DarthPrime.
            • I appreciate your reasoning and that you are not trying to vandalize. However, the colors are for easy identification of topic info, not for color scheme of subject. The Rebel Character infobox is Indigo. Sith Character infoboxes are red. Organization infoboxes are grey. I believe the color inputs are a carryover from when the infoboxes were first made. Hence, they are present in templates that have not been recently added or updated. However, newer ones (like the System infobox, which is blue-green, and the Sith Empire Character, which is red and grey) do not have those options. We do not make the squadron's indigo because it would appear that the article is about a Rebel Character. Does that make sense? —GethralkinHyperwave 21:37, May 29, 2012 (UTC)
              • By the way, the Alliance to Restore the Republic article is tagged for major cleanup because of edits contributed that have lowered the quality of the article, so I wouldn't use that as a guide. —GethralkinHyperwave 21:42, May 29, 2012 (UTC)
                • I understand. Does that also mean that organization infoboxs with alternate color schemes (including ones that I have not been involved with) will be reverted that the traditional color for an organization infobox? DarthPrime
                  • Yes, but first concentrate on current infobox creation. —GethralkinHyperwave 22:40, May 29, 2012 (UTC)

I appreciate all the work that you have been doing with infobox material. However, I noticed that you have begun again to add non-categorical thematic colors to infoboxes for organizations. Unverified information[]

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:16, August 14, 2012 (UTC)

Please kindly stop inserting these dividing lines into year articles, as you are doing. There are many articles besides year articles, status articles included, that feature this presentation of navigation templates directly below the references section. Since this sort of change would rightly affect many articles across the wiki, it's really a matter that should be brought before the community for formal vote in the interest of universal standardization before any one person takes the initiative of just unilaterally implementing it. Unidentified Weequay security chief[]

Unidentified Avian species (Kalee)[]

Why do you keep removing my edit of the era the bird appears in. The comic it appears in is set in the Rise of the Empire era. So the bird would also be in that time period. I plan to put it back, but would like to know why you keep removing it without a single reason. DarthRevan1173 Revan Headshot.png (Long live Lord Revan) 12:47, September 17, 2012 (UTC)

  • I do not believe that the Eras template should be used on a "species" page if the template is being used to show what era that species existed within the Star Wars universe. DarthPrime 18:39, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
    • The eras template is used on every page whether it is a species, character, book, weapon, magazine and so on. DarthRevan1173 Revan Headshot.png (Long live Lord Revan) 18:45, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
      • In most cases that I have seen, the only time that an Eras template have been used on a species page was to rate the quality of the page. DarthPrime 18:48, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
        • The purpose of the template is to help identify what eras the species, character, book, weapon and so on was in or is how it should be used. DarthRevan1173 Revan Headshot.png (Long live Lord Revan) 18:51, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
          • Please see the template page and related talk page to review the purpose of the template. Anything published by LFL or their affiliates that an era is established in-canon needs an Eras template to show at-a-glance which era it comes from. —GethralkinHyperwave 17:59, September 19, 2012 (UTC)
            • Actually, species articles don't use the eras template. See every species article here. Prime was correct to remove it. Menkooroo (talk) 02:05, September 21, 2012 (UTC)
              • Ah, I see. I haven't done much with species articles, so my experience is with everything else that uses the Eras template. It makes sense, though, because a species spans eras... that is unless it is an extinct species that predates certain eras. Thanks for clarifying. —GethralkinHyperwave 17:27, September 21, 2012 (UTC)
                • Ok, I couldn't find anything in the actual policy (which is why I initially answered in ignorance), but CC7567 referred to a forum discussion and vote. So, for the record in this discussion, the official consensus is "to ONLY use eras tags on "non-timeless" articles, such as characters, ships, etc. and restrict eras tags usage based on known appearances alone, and not presumed era appearances." —GethralkinHyperwave 17:53, September 21, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, Prime. It's the 1st of October, and you're officially the Wookieepedian of the Month! Congratulations. You've been doing great work here for the last year, and you definitely deserve it. Hopefully it will feel good to see your name on Wookieepedia's Main Page. :)

Since you're the WOTM, I was wondering if you'd be interested in doing an interview. If you look at our Main Page, about halfway down on the right side, you'll see the Wookieepedia NewsNet, and a couple of interviews with recent recipients of WOTM. We'd love to learn more about you and to get your thoughts on Star Wars, on Wookieepedia, and more. The questions would be very similiar to these ones. Let me know if you're interested! I could ask you the questions here, or you could e-mail me at gradualferguson@hotmail.com Let me know, and congratulations again! Menkooroo (talk) 03:03, October 1, 2012 (UTC)

  • Thank you for your support. I would be interested in doing an interview. Just tell me what to do. DarthPrime 16:03, October 1, 2012 (UTC)
    • Great! All you need to do is answer these ten questions, in as many or as few words as you'd like. And if you'd like any images to be included in the interview, post a link to them here. See here and here for examples of image use in interviews.
  1. How did it feel to find out that you were the Wookieepedian of the Month? Did you know that you'd been nominated, or did it come as a complete surprise?
  2. Tell us a little bit about yourself. When did you start editing Wookieepedia? How'd you find your way here?
  3. You're a very active Wookieepedian, performing tons of minor edits and other such "grunt work." What attracts you to that kind of editing?
  4. Do you see yourself keeping it up for a long time? Do you ever entertain the idea of writing long articles and nominating them for Featured status?
  5. Do you have any advice for new editors, or for anyone considering becoming an editor?
  6. What role do you think Wookieepedia plays in the broader Star Wars community?
  7. Tell us about some of your favourite works of the Expanded Universe (books, comics, video games, etc --- also, your favourite characters).
  8. Any passionate feelings on The Clone Wars cartoon?
  9. Which trilogy is best --- original, or prequel? Which of the six films is the best?
  10. For what would you like to be remembered within the Wookieepedia community?

Thanks for agreeing to do this, and congratulations again. Keep on rockin'. Menkooroo (talk) 16:06, October 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • Hey! Just wondering if you're still interested in doing this. Let me know. :) Menkooroo (talk) 13:47, October 10, 2012 (UTC)
    • Yes. I apologize for the delay. I have been busy with other duties. I will answer the questions within the next day. DarthPrime

My answers:

  1. I was surprised and honored that I was chosen to be Wookieepedian of the month. Prior to being notified that I was chosen, I had no knowledge of being nominated.
  2. My first experience with the Star wars universe was watching the 1997 remastered version of Episode IV: A New Hope as a child. I become more interested in Star Wars when I was in high school however. I started editing Wookieepedia since 2010 (2011 as DarthPrime). What got me interested in Wookieepedia in the first place was my desire to find out more about the Star Wars universe after I watched the movies. When I searched online, I found myself on Wookieepedia as one of my earliest search results.
  3. I want to see Wookieepedia as a high quality source of information for those who are interested in Star Wars. Wookieepedia is growing in content, and it is difficult to monitor all that content. I just want to make sure that Wookieepedia continues to be a place to find high quality information, and that it is being shown in an organized way. I do the grunt work so that others can focus on providing new content and information on the series.
  4. I can't see myself wanting stop editing on Wookieepedia in the near future. I would like to continue editing for a while if it does not significantly hinder the rest of my responsibilities. I don't see myself writing long articles or making nominations.
  5. Do not vandalize content, play by the rules of Wookieepedia's policies, and think think carefully about what you wish to post online. Remember that anything that is posted on the internet will stay on the internet.
  6. I see Wookieepedia as a place to show what Star Wars has to offer in terms of its content and the community of fans who are invested in the series. Even the official Star Wars website is using Wookieepedia as a reference. It represents an opportunity for fans to become more involved in the franchise. I hope that Wookieepedia can be recognized as a credible website.
  7. I have read the some of the comics and played the games associated with Nintendo. I do not claim to be an expert on the expanded universe, but I have seen quite a bit of content outside the movies. One of my favorite characters from the Clone Wars is Savage Opress. I have also taken a liking to Darth Malgus and Darth Krayt.
  8. I have found the Clone Wars series the be a very enjoyable show. I can tell from the way that it is shown that the show's staff has put much time and effort on it. The only issue that I have with the show is that it conflicts with much of the content that has been presented in the expanded universe. Anakin Skywalker's scar in the show alone has presented timeline issues. I realized that the show's creators have creative control of the show, but taking greater consideration of the expanded universe would have been more considerate. An example would be the recent portrayal of Adi Gallia's death in Revival. Instead of using her in that episode, they could have used Eeth Koth in my opinion. If he was the one who died, then the show could have brought in Agen Kolar as his replacement without any issues.
  9. It is difficult for me to decide which of the trilogies is my favorite. They each have of the own features the gives me reasons to watch them. My favorite movie of the six, however, would have to be Revenge of the Sith.
  10. I did not join Wookieepedia as a means to be remembered by others. I enjoy doing what I do. I just hope that mine and all of the other editors hard work does not go to waste in the future.
    • Thanks so much! The interview is live on the Main page. I included the corrections, you made, too. Congrats again. :) Menkooroo (talk) 01:02, October 15, 2012 (UTC)
  • A belated congratulations from me, as well. Exams and research have prevented me from being aware and participating in the vote, but you would have gotten a vote from me had I had the chance. Living Force articles[]

Hello DarthPrime, I've noticed many articles related to the Living Force, a supplement to Star Wars RPG from Wizards of the Coast, lacking infoboxes. I understand you're quite the "professional" with the addition of infoboxes and so on, so I thought you might be interested in checking them out. In case you decide to go on this "campaign", the Living Force Campaign Guide is an article where you'll find plenty of them linked. Winterz (talk) 21:13, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • I have actually been meaning to start working on articles associated with the Living Force Campaign. I just have not found the time or opportunity because there are a lot of articles. DarthPrime 21:44, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • Thank you. Same to you.--DarthPrime (talk) 13:30, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

DarthPrime can you add on the page for "Missing in Action" that the episode was directed by Steward Lee and written by Brent Friedman?

Whats your character in CWA?

  • Don't have one--DarthPrime (talk) 01:18, January 15, 2013 (UTC)

Prime, can you speak any Japanese? Stake black msg 15:09, January 15, 2013 (UTC)

  • I understand some of the phases being spoken in the language, but I am unable to translate its alphabet. The reason I included the links to the Japanese version of webpages is to update pages that have not been edited in a while.--DarthPrime (talk) 17:41, January 15, 2013 (UTC)
    • I see. The reason I'm asking is because we needed help understanding this. Stake black msg 17:54, January 15, 2013 (UTC)
      • If everything proceeds as I have foreseen, I should come across my Japanese friend in the next few hours and ask him to translate the creatures and the planets. --LelalMekha (talk) 18:04, January 15, 2013 (UTC)
        • Superb. Don't forget the spaceship-y thingy in the last page. Stake black msg 18:08, January 15, 2013 (UTC)

Why remove the tag from Scoundrels? The book has only been out a month and has yet to hit some international shores. Rokkur Shen (talk) 06:46, February 2, 2013 (UTC)

Can you post on the page of "The Lawless" that the Red Guard appears in Organizations and Titles?

Hello there,

Can you tell me the reason for reversing the text I've written for Rusty Eagle? This way we can learn to better our contributing.
