Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Please do not remove talk page and forum comments, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask one of our administrators. May the Force be with you!

Unverified info Edit

Hey, DarthR2-D2. Please do not add unverified info to articles, as you did with this edit. Thank you for your cooperation.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 02:24, February 25, 2012 (UTC)

No, I watched Massacre an hour and a half ago ad then they showed a trailer for Bounty, next week and Asajj Ventress was in fact in those clips predominantly. Don't try to catch my bluff. ~DarthR2-D2

Darth R2-D2 is correct. The preview shows Asajj clearly. Not to go against what a senior editor says, but yeah. --Lamp774 02:35, February 25, 2012 (UTC)Lamp774

  • That's good, then, but please wait until you can source it to an official source. Leaving it unsourced, or souring it to YouTube or something of the like does not count. When placing new information in an article about a future product such as a new TCW episode, please be sure to source it to or something. Thank you.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 14:52, February 25, 2012 (UTC)

Inuse Edit

While your edit is appreciated, the page you just edited currently has a template called {{Inuse}} at the top. This template means that someone is currently working on improving the article, and to avoid edit conflicts, no one other than the placer of the template should edit the page while the message is visible. Thank you for your cooperation. —Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 02:07, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • Hey man, what do you have against me? I don't the problem with whatever I did "wrong". And if you don't want anybody editing it, lock it down. Simple. :) --Darth R2-D2, Dark Lord of the Droids 02:10, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
  • Nothing to say to what I said? I guess not? Leave me alone to do what I do best. :) --Darth R2-D2, Dark Lord of the Droids 00:17, June 3, 2012 (UTC)
    • What are you talking about? Don't be rude. Cal didn't respond because 1) you didn't respond on his talk page and 2) he has better things to do then check your talk page. If you're screwing with pages that have {{Inuse}} templates, then he has every right to ask you not to. That's the point of the template—to tell people not to edit the page. Cade Calrayn StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 00:30, June 3, 2012 (UTC)
  • Really? Don't be rude. Cal is a very polite and respected member of the Wook, and I stepped in to defend him. You are being rather unpleasant for absolutely no reason at all—please read WP:CIVIL. Cade Calrayn StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 00:41, June 3, 2012 (UTC)
    • Thank you, Cade. DarthR2-D2: In response to what you said on Cade and my own talk pages, Wookieepedia is a community effort. It is not left to "do what [you] do best." Secondly, I have nothing against you personally. I would have responded the same way to other users who would have done the same thing you did. Thirdly, if an article has an {{Inuse}} template on it, just leave it alone. Simple. If you really need to edit it badly, leave a message about your request to edit it on the talk page of the user who placed the template. Otherwise, please find something constructive to do instead of bothering other people when they are in the right. Thank you.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 00:59, June 3, 2012 (UTC)

Making a better "Timeline of media" revisitedEdit

Hi DarthR2-D2, I recently picked up where Morbus Iff left off a while ago on a Timeline of media revamp discussed here. As a recent editor of the Timeline of media, your opinion on the near-finished project would be appreciated: User:Tainb'ocu'chulainn/Sandbox Timeline. The forum for the discussion is Forum:SH:Making a better Timeline of media: revisited. Thanks. Tainb'ocu'chulainn (talk) 20:53, February 11, 2013 (UTC)

Voting Edit

Hello. According to the fourth bullet point in "Additional provisions" of Wookieepedia:Single-issue voters, you "must make 50 non-reverted, non-deleted edits within the previous 6 months prior to the start of a given forum to be eligible to vote." Therefore, you do not meet the requirements to vote in Forum:CT:Tab system. 1358 (Talk) 20:11, May 10, 2014 (UTC)

  • That's setting up a hierarchy and by that policy some users will never will be able to vote because somebody else has come along and deleted their edits. That open to corruption with tyranny. That is the stupidest thing I ever heard. It shouldn't matter how active one is to vote. Simply being a user should give the right to vote. You tyrannical bureaucrat --Darth R2-D2, Dark Lord of the Droids (talk) 20:15, May 10, 2014 (UTC)
    • Thank you for your constructive feedback, read WP:NPA, WP:CIVIL, and have a great day. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 20:25, May 10, 2014 (UTC)
      • Thats it? I didn't read anything that I did wrong there buddy boy.--Darth R2-D2, Dark Lord of the Droids (talk) 20:30, May 10, 2014 (UTC)
        • Calling someone "tyrannical" and in most cases calling them a "bureaucrat" in anything other than a specific context on Wookieepedia (which does not apply to Xd) is uncivil and a personal attack. You have sufficient rope, and with your next error you will hang yourself. Thank you, and have a Wookiee-tastic day. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 20:35, May 10, 2014 (UTC)

Removing stuff from talk pages Edit

Please don't remove stuff from talk pages. It's considered a matter of public record and must remain. If you don't want the stuff on your talk page, create an archive. Thank you. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!)

Your attitude Edit

Listen closely. Your arrogant and combative attitude isn't conducive to this wiki, so please re-evaluate your approach to interacting with the rest of the Wookieepedia community. Edits violating Wookieepedia:No personal attacks and Wookieepedia:Civility are grounds to sanctions, so please cut it out right now or you will find yourself enjoying a cooldown block. Thank you for your cooperation. 1358 (Talk) 20:31, May 10, 2014 (UTC)

  • Lets fix it. I pick this one: "Explore issues in a less public forum like e-mail if a debate threatens to become personal." --Darth R2-D2, Dark Lord of the Droids (talk) 20:35, May 10, 2014 (UTC)

Uploading Edit

While all good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated, we ask that you please refer to Wookieepedia:Images, which can be found under the "other policies and guidelines" link in your welcome message, and familiarize yourself with the sourcing and licensing requirements before uploading any more images. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. Wikia's non-standard upload forms are not supported under Wookieepedia policy, and ignorance of the uploading rules is not an acceptable excuse. Continued violation of the image policy or falsification of any information in an upload description are considered vandalism and will likely result in a block. Thank you. 1358 (Talk) 13:37, May 12, 2014 (UTC)

  • Sorry boss. I just wanted to have a new "profile" image. My bad. EDIT: Alright now I'm a little ticked off. But I do still want to reconcile. I feel like you may not want to though. --Darth R2-D2, Dark Lord of the Droids (talk) 13:39, May 12, 2014 (UTC)

TCW timeline edits Edit

What source are you using for the date changes you made to The Clone Wars in the Timeline of canon media? Please add an edit summary when possible. Thanks! Tainb'ocu'chulainn (talk) 14:16, May 12, 2014 (UTC)

  • Sorry about the summary, I smashed the "Save" button before I could explain. Wild Space and The Essential Reader's Companion, while at least one of those being non-canon, places the pre-time jump in 22 BBY. The dates for Season Six are a little trickier. In Labyrinth of Evil the Jedi do not know who Tyranus is. However in Season Six they learn that the clones are part of a greater Sith conspiracy and learn Dooku is Tyranus. Same way, LoE is not non-canon, but I'd say the dates still stick. --Darth R2-D2, Dark Lord of the Droids (talk) 14:22, May 12, 2014 (UTC)
    • Looks like there is some disagreement with your dates. I have pretty actively avoided TCW chronology because it makes my brain hurt, so I'm not going to wade into it. I just wanted to make sure the reasoning is given for any change. Tainb'ocu'chulainn (talk) 14:28, May 14, 2014 (UTC)
