General Madine Edit

  • The reason I took out General Madine (in addition to other officers with ranks of admiral and general) is because the commanders list is not a participation list. We know Madine commanded a cruiser at Endor but he wasn't on overall theatre commander. Ackbar commands the naval forces, Calrissian commands the starfighter forces and Solo commands the ground forces. Luke was part of the Jedi-Sith duel on the Death Star II while Chirpa commands the Ewok forces. On the Imperial side, Palpatine and Vader commanded the Jedi-Sith duel on the DSII, Jerjerrod commanded the battle station, Piett commanded the Imperial forces (with Sloane taking command as per The Levers of Power after Piett's death) and Hewex commanded the Army forces (since Dyer technically died before the battle actually began and unsure of what Igar was actually up to as yet). The commanders list should be for overall theatre commanders, not for everyone above the rank of lieutenant!. Madine was present yes, but he didn't appear to be commanding anything beyond one ship. Making a participants list would probably be good for each battle to show who was there (it was done in the past) and I'm all for it. But Madine (or Hera or Cracken or Garrick Versio or Jhared Montferrat) don't need to be in the commanders list. I don't really see the need for all squadron leaders to be in the list either (Calrissian is overall starfighter wing leader for the battle afterall) but I wasn't able to win that fight.--Noash Retrac (talk) 05:37, November 12, 2019 (UTC)

3966 BBYEdit

As I pointed out here when I trash compacted the page originally, the use of four-thousand-years is more of a vague estimate rather than something specific, I would avoid re adding it onto the page unless a source specifically dated it, thanks! What was the page you mentioned that use approx dating? Best to check that one out --Lewisr (talk) 19:15, December 23, 2019 (UTC)

  • Hmm never seen anything like that done on here outside of that example, I would say its best to remove those --Lewisr (talk) 19:42, December 23, 2019 (UTC)

Mandalore the GreatEdit

Because the episode didn't say that Mandalore the Great was the leader of the Mandalorians --Lewisr (talk) 16:34, December 28, 2019 (UTC)

  • In Legends yes, does it mean it still in canon though --Lewisr (talk) 21:05, December 28, 2019 (UTC)

SVG ImageEdit

I was under the impression as the image its self is not from official source, it came from reddit, that it was not allowed per Wookieepdia's image sourcing rules. But perhaps I'm wrong. LadyVader1005 (talk) 00:48, December 30, 2019 (UTC)

Hey not sure how to communicate properly on this site but about your question on the "Mandalorian" page - In chapter 8 Mando does say it's a creed. This is a new thing, however. All mandalorians shown in canon have been the same species. So one of the groups (it appears to be what was left of Death Watch) started adopting any species. Makes sense, because Darth Maul did lead them at one point. But, to say that Mandalorian is a creed, culture, code, etc pertaining to multiple species since ancient times is incorrect.

CarboniteEdit

Just because carbonite blocks are stored in a ship doesn't mean it's a part of it. Han Solo was stashed aboard the Slave I, but that doesn't mean the Slave I has a carbon chamber. Shayanomer (talk) 07:58, February 18, 2020 (UTC)

  • He was frozen within a carbonite block, which has its own freezing system. Again, it doesn't mean it's a part of the ship. Shayanomer (talk) 08:02, February 18, 2020 (UTC)
    • Since it isn't outright confirmed by any material that the Crest has a system in place, I suggest we remove it for now. Shayanomer (talk) 09:38, February 18, 2020 (UTC)
