Re: Actors Edit

Hi! Thanks for the kind words on Bea. Sebastian Shaw was the major precedent I followed while writing it. I really like the idea of your Wookieeproject and would definitely want to get involved in it. How much out-of-universe content do you think it would encompass? I've written a number of OOU FA's and GA's, but they've mostly been about book series, comics, or canceled projects. If you're thinking of keeping it limited to actors, though, that'd be just dandy, as there are a number of ones that I have vague plans to do kicking around in my head (I wonder if I could do Christopher Lee or Billy Dee Williams ... ?). Menkooroo 05:58, September 1, 2010 (UTC)

WookieeProjectEdit

I do remember you, actually. :P As for creating a WP, it's quite simply. You really can just do ahead and create one. It'd be smart to try and recruit people beforehand (Menkooroo seems like he's onboard), but it's absolutely not required. Just add the link to the WP page and create the page on your WP. Decide on whatever title you want, and good luck. Let me know if you have any other questions. Chack Jadson (Talk) 16:32, September 1, 2010 (UTC)

Your signature Edit

Hey,
I just wanted to give you a heads-up that our signature policy restricts the links in signatures to two (one to your user page and another to some other page). Your current signature seems to be having four links. Cheers. -- 1358 (Talk) 18:38, September 1, 2010 (UTC)

Preview button Edit

Hey there, I noticed that you are editing Erisi Dlarit‎‎ extensively. Currently, however, you are clogging up the RC with the constant edits. To not clog up the RC, you could make use of the preview button, prior to submitting your edit. It helps a lot, since you can catch any spelling and/or grammatical error before you submit any changes. Hope this helps. Cheers, JangFett (Talk) 06:04, September 4, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Hunter. Thanks for taking care of the sourcing issue. Whenever you've taken care of any objections on either GAs or FAs the best thing to do is to leave a message on the article's review page, under the item you have fixed in the "Things to do" section. Here is the link for the costume. Hope that this helps. Cylka-talk- 03:15, September 12, 2010 (UTC)

Hi Edit

I'd like to formally introduce myself. I'm Jedi Kasra, and I'm glad you're back, and hope to see more noms from you. I'm friends with Menkooroo, and have reviewed the majority of his articles, especially his OOU ones. If you and he can get an OOU project up and running, that'd be wonderful!—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 08:06, September 12, 2010 (UTC)

  • Good to hear, feel free to review my current noms, which are Malak and Karath, and and future ones. Good to be working with you, maybe one day you could work on a KotOR nom?—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 14:22, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
    • I'll be sure to give him a review asap.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 14:34, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
      • Well, there are a lot of helpful links for KotOR noms, if you have any questions regarding the KotOR project, please do not hesitate to ask either myself or the project leader Cylka. For example, as you know, Menk's trying to gt the article for Legacy #23 to FA status, if you were to do an OOU article on one of the comics, John Jackson Miller has production notes on every issue on his site that are extremely helpful.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 16:57, September 12, 2010 (UTC)

Dlarit estate Edit

Hello, sir. I want you to know that I reviewed the article Dlarit estate, as it was up for FAN. In the process, however, I discovered two instances of direct copying from Bacta War. Be aware that plagiarism is not considered acceptable on Wookieepedia. Please, while working through the other objections, rectify this issue. Should it arise again, the administration may become involved. Have a good day. Fiolli {Alpheridies University ComNet} 02:00, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Zuckuss Edit

Heh, thanks. Re: Erisi Dlarit nom Edit

Hey Hunter Khan, don't worry about it; I'm afraid some of my comments on the nom page were too harsh, and I apologize. Dlarit's situation definitely makes things particularly difficult to decipher for her article—I understand that that can make it frustrating while trying to write, and I feel bad myself for beginning to venture away from civility. Anyway, thanks for doing your best to avoid a conflict; they happen too often on this site due to misunderstandings and petty arguments, so its very much appreciated. I'll go take a look at the nom right now, and I look forward to working with you in the future. :) Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 14:08, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

Cushing Edit

Hey Hunter,

From what I've heard, The Making of Star Wars: The Definitive Story Behind the Original Film has quite a bit of info on Tarkin. I couldn't tell you how much of that has to do with Peter Cushing, but I feel like it's definitely worth checking out. Youtube and google are great references, too: This David Prowse interview. has a single line about Cushing (and a great photo!). This imdb bio. has a bunch of sw-related trivia, but I think you already have all of it... If you're willing to wait until November 10, An interview with Cushing. will be published in a special issue of SW Insider.

This page. reveals that Tarkin was touted as the film's main villain in a lot of pre-release material. Those are all from the first two pages of a google search. The upcoming Insider issue would probably be the jackpot, though. Menkooroo 03:04, September 16, 2010 (UTC)

  • Sounds good! Yeah, even if the new Insider issue has new info, no harm nominating now and adding in the new info as it's released. Go for it! Menkooroo 01:09, September 20, 2010 (UTC)
  • One more thing: I don't really check the Senate Hall that often, but I just read your featured topics proposal for the first time and I really like it. Hopefully I can help some way in implementing it; I'll be on vacation for the next week, but let me know if there's anything I can do when I return. If the Cushing nom is up by then I'll be sure to review it, too. Menkooroo 01:59, September 20, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Evir Derricote Edit

Hi there! I'd be happy to help. So, here's the scoop:

Evir is doesn't really play a very big part; he's only in the one chapter. In it, Juno, PROXY, Bail Organa, Ackbar, and a couple Quarren (Seggor Tels and Siric as well as other unnamed ones) head over to Heurkea on a mission for the Alliance. Evir is the head of the 181st and is head of Dac's defense. PROXY disguises as Evir and tells the 181st to practice honor rolls over the city. While all the pilots are gone, Organa and Tels capture the real Evir and prepare to leave Dac with him as a hostage, when Grand Moff Tarkin and Stormtroopers ambush them. Tels was in actuality a traitor and told Imperials about the mission. Explosions suddenly bring down part of ceiling and a Stormtroopers says the 181st is bombing the city. Tarkin and the troopers escape, when Tels reveals he really isn't a traitor and that the explosions weren't from Evir's Wing, but were set by PROXY. Evir is realesed by Ackbar as a "witness to what happens when one interferes with the Dac resistance" as PROXY, disguised as Tarkin, orders the Moff's troopers to arrest the 181st.

Funny you need info on this part of the book, since it's the most complicated :P

Hope this helps, and if you need any more details on Evir's part, I've got the book ready and waiting. BonslywizardTrade Federation(Send a transmission) 15:05, December 19, 2010 (UTC)

  • You're very welcome! I haven't played the game yet, so I can't be completely sure, but I think I can say with maybe 90% surety that he, along with the majority of Juno's part of the story are not in the game. And anytime :) BonslywizardTrade Federation(Send a transmission) 14:51, December 22, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Hunter Kahn,

In effort to continue the chronicling of our FA history, I am asking and encouraging you to add your personal FA statistics here please, when time permits. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask, and thanks.—Tommy 9281 Tuesday, August 30, 2011, 05:29 UTC

Look at the article's history, and round to the nearest hundredth. You can do one of two things with your name: you can ad Colinmcev's info to the previous box and Hunter Kahn's to the current one, or you can include them all in the current under Hunter Kahn. Whichever you prefer, and thanks.—Tommy 9281 Tuesday, August 30, 2011, 05:48 UTC

Re: Ki-Adi-Mundi and Battle for the Republic Edit

You are correct regarding Ki's role; he is indeed a hero square. The game adapts many battles from the Clone-Wars era Expanded Universe. Ki appears in the adaptation of the Battle of Hypori, along with the other Jedi from the Clone Wars cartoon. In the game, the Jedi defend Hypori against the Separatists. Playing as the Confederacy, you have to defeat Ki and the others and capture the square representing Hypori. So, yeah, I don't think there's new info to be found, since the mission closely follows the events of Tartakovsky's series. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 18:03, September 6, 2011 (UTC)

TCW Edit

Please make sure to heed all of Wookiepedia's policies when editing—particularly, all articles must be in past tense per the Manual of Style. Also, while your effort to update articles with the new online Encyclopedia is appreciated, I would request that you refrain from doing so just for a little while until a method of citing said source is developed, as is currently being discussed in the Senate Hall. Feel free to weigh in on the discussion, but it's best to determine a system of citing the new Encyclopedia (meaning creating a new citation template or two) before we jump the gun and add improperly sourced information to the site. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 05:49, September 14, 2011 (UTC)

  • If an article's name is conjectural, please do not link it as a whole. I.e, you kept linking that "Second Battle of Mon Calamari" as is to its article, but since the article's name is conjectural titled, it would be necessary to write "a second battle," while only linking those two words or battle to the article. Hope you understand. JangFett (Talk) 14:45, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
    • Sorry for not replying earlier. As for the Hydroid medusa issue, I am not sure of the officialness that website presents. Since TCW airs in a few days, we can check then. The new terrible SW.com mentions nothing at the moment. JangFett (Talk) 22:03, September 14, 2011 (UTC)

Malastare quote Edit

Hey! Does that Even Piell quote in Emissaries to Malastare definitely spell "principles" correctly? If it doesn't, then it's correct to quote its misspelling and add [sic] afterward. I don't have the comic so I dunno. I wasn't sure if you had the comic in front of you or if you were just fixing a spelling mistake. Lemme know! Menkooroo 06:00, September 19, 2011 (UTC)

  • Yup; in the Manual of style: "Any errors made by the author may be noted by using "[sic]." Menkooroo 06:21, September 19, 2011 (UTC)

Ki-Adi Edit

I haven't read it yet, but I like the expansion so far. One thing that I recommend is changing the head quote since the guy contradicted himself later on in that TCW episode. :P JangFett (Talk) 04:26, September 20, 2011 (UTC)

  • I can see the ""You are a great, Jedi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, noble and true." being a good candidate for the P&T section. And the second quote, that's a decent one for the P&A. A good quote spoken from Ki-Adi will be best for the header. Comics or novels are a few good places to look. JangFett (Talk) 04:38, September 20, 2011 (UTC)

Hey Hunter. I've been watching your Ki-Adi-Mundi project with some interest, and I just wanted to make sure that you were aware of something. My best advice to you right now would be to never assume that his Sources section is complete until you've checked every single source relating to the prequel trilogy, the Republic comic series, and The Clone Wars. Because he's a movie character, he's been featured in a very, very, very large amount of source material—and while I'm unable to give you specifics because I don't know all of them, you need to find some way to extensive check issues of Star Wars Insider, The Official Star Wars Fact File, Star Wars: The Clone Wars Comic UK, Star Wars: The Clone Wars Magazine, all material on Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures, every single sourcebook relating to The Clone Wars, every entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, and a multitude of other material that I'm probably not even aware of.

I don't mean to be self-promoting, but if I might use my own Quinlan Vos project as an example, I've found that Vos was referenced in some way in at least 25 Fact File issues—and he wasn't even a movie character. I'm not sure if you were planning on doing a source hunt to beef up Mundi's Sources section, but Mundi's Sources list, in its current state, is definitely incomplete. I'd be happy to help in what ways I can, but because he's a movie character, there's potentially a lot more work that will need to go into the article before Mundi can even meet FAN Rule 3. Again, I'm not trying to discourage you from bringing Mundi to FA status (it's a very admirable goal), but he's one of the hardest projects to tackle on the site, so I just want to make sure that you're aware of what has to go into writing his article beyond just the writing. CC7567 (talk) 05:19, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

  • To a lesser but possibly still significant extent, that Appearances section may not be entirely complete either, simply because I don't think anyone has ever put a conscious effort into beefing it up before. CC7567 (talk) 05:21, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Ki-AdiEdit

CC edited conflicted me above. :P

    • I strongly recommend that you look through the entire article once last time before nominating it. One of the things you will see is that if your sources are there. From just a glance, I can tell that you're missing a lot of sources, perhaps your appearance section as well, and the source list is currently out of order in terms of release date. Since Ki-Adi is a centered PT character that's been shown in all three films plus dozens of EU content, you need to go back to 1999, or before that (Insider interviews, ect), to see what's missing. Don't always go by the old article's source list until you find all the sources needed.
Off the top of my head these sources need to be checked—Insider, the CCG trading cards (Young Jedi, Courscant series as a start), Living Force campaign, Fact files, all prima video game guides that featured Ki-Adi, Wizard's TCG and PocketModel game, at times Old Jedi Order members could appear in the NJO Sourcebook, Jedi Power Battles and the RC: Order 66 cell phone game, CSWE, the SW: CW micro series photobook + other photobooks, such as AOTC/ROTS. Don't forget to check every PT movie adaptation as well, comics, novels, junior novels, behind the scenes books such as the Episode III illustrated screenplay. Not only this, thanks to TCW, you need to check SW.com articles, such as the episode guides, sourcebooks such as New Battlefronts, TCW UK and US magazines, comics, Hasbro collectables and figure sets, Lego SW III game, the TCW Campaign sourcebook. From the looks of it, your sources, not including databank, ends in 2005, which is guaranteed that it's missing TCW in addition to the other missing sources.
However, since myself and others, such as CC, have these TCW sources, it wouldn't be a problem to check for you. As for the rest, I could help with a few, and others can help. Just politely ask on IRC if you need a source checked. If you do not have CSWE, I could check or you can request a look here. Through our Reliable source list, you can check out those websites as well to see if Ki-Adi in mentioned or google search, albeit you might need to utilize archive.org just in case the content is no longer available. This might be the case with Living Force campaign through Wizards.com, though I'm sure you can find it.
Once you take care of the source list, and you can take your time with it (there's no rush basically), go through the entire article to see if you covered everything and what you can squeeze out from these sources or others. Even though it's preference, your article should have at least one or two, or three, images for each section depending on the section sizes. However, what I recommend you doing is cutting back on some of the images in the bts since it's looking like an image farm. Your P&T and P&A, though the latter depending on how much info, needs a major expansion. How big? Well considering Ki-Adi-Mundi's appearances, you might need to take a wild guess :P. Other than that, I am very impressed with your completion of such a huge character article. Yet, like I said above, just like the previously (or current) major articles written, you should take your time to see if you covered everything. After then, copy-edits and look throughs will take the focus and be the next concern. JangFett (Talk) 05:32, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

Hello there! I've just seen your message and first of all, I'd like to let you know that I wasn't the one who added the unverified tag. However, it wasn't unwarranted per our sourcing policy. As you can see in that cached version, your reference notes were not formatted properly. When citing websites, you should use {{Cite_web}} and include an archival link. Also, items in the infobox need to be sourced as well. Please let me know if you have any further questions. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 21:49, November 29, 2019 (UTC)
