Images for education use[edit source]

Hi JMAS, I am a tutor for the Web & UX Design programme at Yoobee School of Design in Christchurch, New Zealand and I would like to seek permission for my students to use selected images of yours that are hosted on Fandom for their course exercises. One of our projects is to build a Star Wars themed website and they require a source for imagery. These projects would be only used in an educational context and we would require the students to attribute you (a link to your profile page on Fandom?) in the footer of their sites. An example of an image to be used in a student web project would be one of the planet Naboo: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Naboo Thank you for your consideration. Regards, Richard --Richjava (talk) 22:45, March 6, 2019 (UTC) Richjava (talk) 22:45, March 6, 2019 (UTC)

  • Permission denied. Other than a single image on my user page, none of the images I have uploaded belong to me. They are copyrighted and legally owned by Lucasfilm Ltd and or their respective artists & publishers. They are not being "hosted" here. They are being used under the terms of {{Fairuse}}. Gallery request[edit source]

Can you copy the images from here: https://www.vintag.es/2018/03/rare-star-wars-polaroids.html?m=1 to the gallery pages of their characters? --Blockade3 (talk) 00:08, March 15, 2019 (UTC)

  • If there is room for any of the images to be used in the Behind the scenes sections of any pages, I'm sure they will get used. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 05:40, March 16, 2019 (UTC)

Gallery request part 2[edit source]

Mistake on Cavalier One's talk page noted. Are the photo's i mentioned on a sort of schedule? --Blockade3 (talk) 20:34, March 15, 2019 (UTC)

  • Let's be very clear. If you see images in a gallery on Cavalier One's page, it means he is temporarily placing them there while he's working on a project - it's not a mistake or error. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 13:59, April 29, 2019 (UTC)

Images[edit source]

TIE/ca/TIE/IT[edit source]

Sorry about the mixup with the images - Red Duel 13:44, April 30, 2019 (UTC)

  • Actually, you weren't wrong. I was just looking at the sources displayed on both the images. But looking at the Conversion kit, the image you had placed in the Canon article is both in the original X-Wing and the Second Edition it is both Legends and Canon. But since the one I have in there now is ONLY Second Edition, let's leave it in the Canon article. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 13:48, April 30, 2019 (UTC)
    • sounds good to me. - Red Duel 14:00, April 30, 2019 (UTC)

Question on a Destiny Card[edit source]

Could the card Endless Ranks from Awakenings be used as a canon source? Other cards from that set are used for Legends, and the image was first used for legends.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 00:15, May 28, 2019 (UTC)

  • Awakenings has both Canon and Legends content in it. As Awakenings was released in 2016, and that illustration was originally released in the Legends book The Essential Guide to Warfare I'd have to say it remains only in the Legends continuity. Which is why I believe I placed it there. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 01:38, May 28, 2019 (UTC)
    • Thank you.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 01:41, May 28, 2019 (UTC)
      • Now, if the image gets used in a straight Canon source, then it can be used in both Legends and Canon pages. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 03:23, May 28, 2019 (UTC)
        • Another question: would the Droid Commandos card from the Star Wars: Destiny Two-Player Game work as a canon source?--Editoronthewiki (talk) 03:55, May 29, 2019 (UTC)
          • As far as I know, yes, that image would be Canon as the Two-Player Game was released in 2017. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 04:00, May 29, 2019 (UTC)
            • Thank you. But also, I have another one. Is [1] canon?--Editoronthewiki (talk) 19:34, June 6, 2019 (UTC)
              • AFIAK, that card/image should be considered canon, as it was released in 2017. I have the card art for that image already cropped and ready to upload if you have a page to use it in. Just let me know. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 13:37, June 7, 2019 (UTC)
            • Well, back onto the commando droid card, it appears to be similar to File:CoolWatch.jpg from Scavenger's Guide to Droids. So, if it turns out to be from that book, it should be considered Legends?--Editoronthewiki (talk) 00:20, June 19, 2019 (UTC)
              • File:CoolWatch.jpg is Legends, without question. This image is by the artist Ameen Naksewee, who has only done Star Wars art for FFG products. so that image of a commando droid would be Canon, as it was released in 2017. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 02:46, June 19, 2019 (UTC)

Image syntax[edit source]

Hey, JMAS! I noticed that you reverted some of Rgilbert's image edits. AFAIK, Wookieepedia doesn't have any guidelines about the syntax for displaying images, but promoted articles here consistently practice the order "[[File:Name|Type|Location|Size|Caption]]," so that's probably the way to go. Just thought I'd give a heads up! - Cwedin(talk) 06:36, May 28, 2019 (UTC)

  • Sorry for the delay. Been in process of moving. Currently in temporary housing with a friend. My computer is in storage, which is where I might be able to figure out where I got the image from. I'm on my tablet currently. Going to be at least a couple weeks before I might be able to get you an answer. Sorry. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 02:35, September 21, 2019 (UTC)

Leia Image Crop[edit source]

Good evening,

On this image: [File:Leia Organa TROS.png], I understand what you are trying to say, that the space from the top of her head to both sides is even, but because she is slightly turned it does not look centered in the info box. Also, cropping it so the same amount of shoulder is showing on both sides makes the image appear more even and even if centering it the nose makes it slightly off center to the left, it looks better than being off center to the right simply because of the rules of off center framing in terms of photographic composition. It is better to have space in the direction the subject is facing, rather than behind the subject. My crop gives the illusion of being centered when displayed in the infobox even when it is technically not. The crop as it stands now, because it is off center in the wrong direction, makes an image that already is off center because Leia is turned, look even more off centered and sloppily cropped. Can we please change it to my crop? I'm not trying to be a contrarian, it simply looks cleaner (from a perspective of composition) the way I have cropped it --Benjay2345 (talk) 03:27, January 2, 2020 (UTC)

TROS Collector's Guide[edit source]

As you have been uploading images from the Collector's Guide I assume you must have found a pdf of the guide online somewhere. I've saved pdf's of all of the past films on my computer and can't find this one. Could you point me in the right direction if you have found one?

Thanks so much --Benjay2345 (talk) 03:53, January 2, 2020 (UTC)

  • I accessed it through a MEGA share. But access is by invitation and can't be given out except by the owner of the share. It might also be publicly shared on the Star Wars thread over at the Kaskus forums. A google search should pull it up if it's been shared there. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 04:37, January 2, 2020 (UTC)

SWSB images[edit source]

As a result of the Template:SWSB TC closure and removal of that template, many of the images that you uploaded for use in our stub templates are now unsourced, and it appears the original URLs are no longer available since they were never archived. You should do your best to either find a replacement source for these images, or else we will need to upload new images with proper sourcing. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:54, January 31, 2020 (UTC)

  • The soundboard is/was still a valid and official source in the same way that the defunct Star Wars blog sources are still valid. Even though the template is now gone, I think we should change the source to something like: Star Wars Soundboard (Feature now closed, no archive link available) because this also affects a crapload of audio files. Some of them - say from TCW - technically cannot be sourced to the TCW episode they are taken from because they were cleaned up to remove background sound effects or music to focus only on the vocals. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 01:29, February 1, 2020 (UTC)
    • I don't know why we need to use any of the audio clips from the Soundboard. There's no reason we need to use versions with removed sound effects and music. Those are all part of the native source and should be included for that reason. The only reason the Soundboard presented modified sound clips like that is so people could mix them together and create their own versions to share on social media. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 01:32, February 1, 2020 (UTC)
      • I was wrong about the sounds. I thought we had a lot more, and we only have 3. But regarding the images, the source is still valid even though we don't have archive links. There are many of the archive links for the SWArchive template that aren't valid links. There isn't a ton of images, so don't even need to bother using a bot. I can go change them myself to what I suggested above. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 01:51, February 1, 2020 (UTC)

Hey JMAS. Since you originally added the source for this image, would you mind telling me the page number on which the image can be found? Thanks! Imperators II(Talk) 22:45, February 12, 2020 (UTC)

  • Oh, my. Wow, that was 13 years ago. All my books are now in storage, but I am almost certain it was on the title page. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 01:57, February 14, 2020 (UTC)
    • Nope, Boba Fett is on the title page of the Visual Dictionary. But I did find it. It's from the title of page of Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide. The source has been corrected. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 03:05, February 14, 2020 (UTC)

Hi JMAS, any idea where this image originated from, it's too high quality to have been extrapolated from the cards. Cheers, Tommy Imperial Emblem.svg Macaroni 21:45, February 16, 2020 (UTC)

  • Oh yeah, it's from the FFG website. I just need to find which page and add the template. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 22:03, February 16, 2020 (UTC)

Droid Trio Re-upload[edit source]

Hey JMAS, I found a transparent version of File:Droid Trio TLJ.png you uploaded while searching through the web. I thought this might suit the droid page better and uploaded it by myself but I realized that the image contains a big blank portion. I'm not used to editing images and I know you contributed tons of images here, so would you mind re-uploading it instead? Thanks! Jaewade (talk) 21:09, February 23, 2020 (UTC)

Assertor[edit source]

Hey JMAS, Starships and Speeders reflects File:Assertor LBE.png vertically in the book, which results in File:Assertor Command Dreadnought.png. Not necessarily a duplicate, but it is lower quality.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 07:16, February 29, 2020 (UTC)

  • If there was anything they had altered in the image in SaS, other than mirroring it, then I'd say keep them both. But that isn't the case here, so we only need to keep the higher quality image. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 19:51, February 29, 2020 (UTC)

TROS Series 1[edit source]

Hey, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Series 1 just released digitally on Star Wars: Card Trader, meaning we have access to new infobox images. I've already uploaded the ones I feel we could use the most right now here. You're free to photoshop and upload them here. Shayanomer (talk) 14:00, March 3, 2020 (UTC)

Secutor[edit source]

Hi JMAS, I recently uploaded this image from FFG's website, and tried to crop it to see if it could replace this zoomed in image. While the old image does have better quality, the colour is also visibly more tanned and less accurate than the new one from FFG. I was wondering if you could remember where you pulled the old image from, and which image you think would be best to use in articles (the old one or the new one cropped)? Thanks in advance. Tommy Imperial Emblem.svg Macaroni 13:11, March 7, 2020 (UTC)

  • That's from a scan from Stay on Target - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 19:53, March 7, 2020 (UTC)
    • Ah right, cool. So, do you think we should keep that current version or crop this one? Tommy Imperial Emblem.svg Macaroni 21:06, March 7, 2020 (UTC)
      • Why we don't keep using both as is? The larger cropped in scan for the infobox, since it is high quality, and the smaller version showing it in battle with the other ships for the body of the article. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 21:40, March 7, 2020 (UTC)
        • Yeah I thought so too, but I wanted to get a second opinion, and you're much more proficient with images than me. Cool, thanks. Tommy Imperial Emblem.svg Macaroni 21:59, March 7, 2020 (UTC)

Re:Spira[edit source]

Heh, I was actually going to message you about sourcing and copyright for the image next time I hopped back on. I'll add similar sourcing. Thanks! MasterCommerce Guild.svgFredcerique 05:45, March 16, 2020 (UTC)

Artist inquiry[edit source]

Can you tell me which artist drew the TL-1200 at File:TL-1200_Transport_LoNH.png featured on Lords of Nal Hutta page 37? In the book artwork it is being shot up by what looks like some Black Sun fighters in an asteroid field. The book at the beginning lists artists but not their contributions and I haven't been able to find all of their artwork. TalzBoy (talk) 14:26, March 23, 2020 (UTC)

  • Unfortunately, I'm not sure. That is a scan from the book, not from an artists website. There are at least 7 artists that contributed to the book that could potentially be the artist, based on their other work. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 14:47, March 23, 2020 (UTC)

Okay, the following artists are listed as contributing to the interior art: David Ardila, Jacob Atienza, Cristi Balanescu, Alberto Bontempi, Jon Bosco, Matt Bradbury, Caravan Studio, JB Casacop, Stephen Chang, Anthony Devine, Jose Mikhail Elloso, Mariusz Gandzel, Clark Huggins, Joel Hustak, Jeff Lee Johnson, Jason Juta, David Kegg, Mark Molnar, Jake Murray, David Auden Nash, Mike Nash, RJ Palmer, Emilio Rodriguez, Magali Villeneuve, Ben Zweifel, and the Lucasfilm art archives. I'm going to slowly google their names and search their artwork to try and find it. I do wish the artist image section of Wookieepedia was more complete and also had a larger gallery view so I could see all of the artworks without clicking on them. Thanks again TalzBoy (talk) 16:03, March 23, 2020 (UTC)

  • Feel free to do so. But this image is not on any of the listed artist websites. Trust me, I've looked. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 22:25, March 23, 2020 (UTC)

How are you getting images from the shows on Disney+? I have attempted to and when I attempt to get a screenshot, the episode turns to black. --Mr Star Wars Amino Republic (talk) 21:42, March 29, 2020

  • I know someone who is able to rip the video from Disney+ and therefore the screenshots are from a video file, not from Disney+ itself. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 04:52, March 30, 2020 (UTC)
    • Alright. Can I just ask you to upload any images I need for edits I make? --Mr Star Wars Amino Republic (talk) 16:12, March 30, 2020

The Droid with a Heart image.png[edit source]

So I saw that you just uploaded a new version of The Droid with a Heart's image, but this new version depicts a pilot droid being attacked by Grievous. The old version, which is featured on Amazon's preview of the book but I'm unsure if it is in the book itself, depicts that unit being a B1. Where did you get this new version?--Editoronthewiki (talk) 12:37, April 2, 2020 (UTC)

  • I just checked a review of the book on YouTube. It seems like the B1 version is featured in the book, which I'd argue makes it more canon than the art station version, unless there was a rerelease or something--Editoronthewiki (talk) 12:41, April 2, 2020 (UTC)
    • Didn't even notice the color difference. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 14:14, April 2, 2020 (UTC)

Image for Mixer[edit source]

Hey JMAS, could you help me out finding a picture for Mixer? I'm working on improving his page to a Good article, but I can't get a good image of the trooper other than the one that's already been uploaded. I already checked the episode guide, and I was told that you were the guy to go to for good images so I thought I'd check in. Thank you sir! --TK-462 (talk) 18:39, April 9, 2020 (UTC)

  • Absolutely. Done and added. Feel free to ask regarding any screenshots you need from TCW, Rebels, The Mandalorian or the films. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 00:39, April 10, 2020 (UTC)
    • Wonderful! They look amazing. Thanks so much --01:52, April 10, 2020 (UTC)

Gauntlet[edit source]

Hi, could you get a new shot of the Gauntlet, there's a good one you can get from Eminence around 6 minutes in. Also, are you experienced with photoshop by any chance? Shayanomer Din Djarin's clan.svg (talk) 16:31, April 14, 2020 (UTC)

  • I'm adequate with Photoshop. I know my way around most of the basic functions, at least with PS7, which is what I have. I'll work on the Gauntlet shot for you. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 00:42, April 15, 2020 (UTC)

Gauntlet from "Shades of Reason"

    • At 6 minutes in, it's Maul and Vizsla talking in the tent. Can you describe which scene you are looking for me to get the shot from? - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 01:01, April 15, 2020 (UTC)
      • My bad, I meant Shades of Reason. Regarding Photoshop, are you comfortable with photoshopping Card Trader cards? Shayanomer Din Djarin's clan.svg (talk) 07:49, April 15, 2020 (UTC)
        • Another thing, can you replace the shot of the Gauntlet on Tatooine with Vizsla exiting the ship? It's a safer option because the ship doesn't have any unique markings to distinguish itself from other ships of its class. Shayanomer Din Djarin's clan.svg (talk) 07:53, April 15, 2020 (UTC)
          • I can get the different Tatooine shot of the Gauntlet if you wish. But the Guantlet is distinguishable from other Kom'rk-class fighters by the nose, and the current picture is the Gauntlet. Both of the pictures below are from the Encyclopedia on SW.com so both are Canon. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 18:25, April 15, 2020 (UTC)
            • Ok I didn't really notice that. Thanks for the images! Can the same be confirmed for The Mandalore Plot? The concept art gallery for that episode shows the other model. Shayanomer Din Djarin's clan.svg (talk) 19:25, April 15, 2020 (UTC)
              • That is concept art, so they must have changed it before final production so that Viszla's ship was distinguishable from the others. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 19:45, April 15, 2020 (UTC)
                • But in the episode, the 3 fighters are seen leaving and Vizsla isn't seen boarding one of them. Is it safe to assume that the Gauntlet was among these fighters? Shayanomer Din Djarin's clan.svg (talk) 19:48, April 15, 2020 (UTC)

Images (2nd time)[edit source]

Hey JMAS, I'm coming for images, once again. I'm working on a nomination for Kosmos, and it'd be wonderful if I could get another image in the page. I was thinking that it could maybe be a picture of the destruction caused by the Zillo Beast breaking out of the facility? For reference, the episode is Season 2, Episode 19. Thank you! Re: Proper sourcing[edit source]

Hi there, I've created the citation with {{Cite_web}}, but I can't edit the page to add it for some reason, due to me getting a white screen, resulting in the edit not completing. I'm using Mozilla Firefox by the way. Kind regards —Tomotron Revanchist Sith.svg (Star Forge) 07:09, May 15, 2020 (UTC)

  • I managed to do the edit, the problem was due to the HTTP bug, when you add at least one URL to a file description and you get a blank screen, resulting in a failed edit. By the way, thanks for your tip JMAS, I'll keep that in mind for next time. Kind regards —Tomotron Revanchist Sith.svg (Star Forge) 12:16, May 15, 2020 (UTC)
    • No worries. I've gotten warned about that in the past, and it was usually when I'm replacing an image with one from an artist page, just like you did. Images of Abandoned medcenter[edit source]

Hey JMAS, could you help me out with finding an image of the abandoned Haven medical station from the episode Always Two There Are. An article for the station was recently created, and I remembered that you're the one to go to for good images. Thank you! CIS roundel.svg Erebus Chronus Open frequency 02:08, June 9, 2020 (UTC)

Battle of Jakku infobox[edit source]

Hey JMAS, I saw that you just changed the image for the Battle of Jakku. I was wondering what your reasoning was for the change, as I think the older image suited the page more. RattsT (talk) 04:47, June 19, 2020 (UTC)

  • My reasoning was that showing a crashed ISD and a crashing blockade runner and a few ground forces was less illustrative of the battle than displaying the space battle showing both forces actively engaged in battle. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 04:52, June 19, 2020 (UTC)
    • That's a fair point. For me the ISD image was a better representative of the fate of the Empire during the battle, as well as providing a visual throughline for the imagery we see in TFA. RattsT (talk) 05:01, June 19, 2020 (UTC)
      • I'm not going to be heartbroken if you want to switch it back. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 05:02, June 19, 2020 (UTC)
        • Ah, alright. Thanks for discussing it with me. RattsT (talk) 05:06, June 19, 2020 (UTC)

EV-9D9 Mandalorian image[edit source]

Hey JMAS, I was wondering if you might be able to get EV-9D9 a better infobox image from "The Gunslinger" and an image of her with her faceplate removed from the "Practical" or "Connections" episodes of Disney Gallery. I'd do it myself but as you know the Disney+ app doesn't allow for screenshots and I hear you're able to obtain them somehow. Thank you!. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 05:06, June 23, 2020 (UTC)

Number of Links[edit source]

Hello JMAS, Is it alright if I revert the image of https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/File:Xwing2.jpg?s=wl back to the original Dark Horse Cover? (I know the Digital Marvel Covers have higher detail, but they weren't the original publishers of the issue) MurfelDurvel (talk) 21:17, July 4, 2020 (UTC)

Re: Image sourcing[edit source]

My exact source is this lumiere-a.akamaihd.net/v1/images/bad-batch-logo-1000_ef2d96b5.png, but it doesn't allow me to save that url as a link. The page just crashes. The page I found it is the Official SW Series page, and I inspected element to get the full size. I'll add that link I suppose. --Dentface (talk) 06:01, July 14, 2020 (UTC)

  • The Rebels logo is from the Disney Plus source that's already linked. I just edited the direct URL for the logo such that it displays its max resolution. --Dentface (talk) 06:03, July 14, 2020 (UTC)
    • Added those notes as suggested. To get the larger sizes, you need to inspect element, open the image in a new tab, and then change the image dimensions included in the URL such that you reach the max resolution. --Dentface (talk) 06:09, July 14, 2020 (UTC)
      • I'm aware of this as well. Feel free to compare the image I uploaded and the one you get via the way you mentioned - you will notice no loss in quality. --Dentface (talk) 06:21, July 14, 2020 (UTC)

Re: Varmik[edit source]

Just letting you know that I have reverted the change you made on the Varmik Star Wars page. The reason is that the image of Varmik you replaced is another member of the Hassk triplets (Varmik's brother) who is yet to be named. The confusion comes from a mistake by Topps. They released quite a few cards of Varmik and all were correct images apart from one. Here is a correct image of Varmik signed by the actor https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/ciwAAOSw~fpZq6Mn/s-l640.jpg --Clauderains01 (talk) 17:12, August 4, 2020 (UTC)

Hello JMAS. A google image search shows that all of the physical cards released by TOPPS are of not the character on card trader. The same is true with and all the images direct from the actor's social media accounts. Here is his official announcement displaying the correct topps trading card https://twitter.com/paulrwarren/status/706145758093963265?lang=en another example from the actor https://twitter.com/paulRwarren/status/679864347347279872 his instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/BtWMRNOFC1i/ and offical website https://www.paulwarren.actor/images.html and you can even see in the movie that varmik is not the hassk from the digital card trader https://www.paulwarren.actor/uploads/9/5/7/3/9573243/154_orig.jpg

In conclusion, it seems we have a source (card trader) showing incorrect information. In your experience, what would be the best way to correct this? --Clauderains01 (talk) 04:12, August 5, 2020 (UTC)

Re: StarViper-class attack platform[edit source]

Hello, apologies for that. The issue is that the Miniatures Wiki copied info from the Legends pages verbatim, so some of the info on the canon StarViper page needs to be revised. Shayanomer Din Djarin's clan.svg (talk) 14:11, August 10, 2020 (UTC)

Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game[edit source]

Hi JMAS, I saw on the Wookieepedia:Trash compactor/Unidentified useless Jedi discussion that you provided the card description for the Unidentified Human Male Jedi Master. As the game was shut down years ago, can you tell me how you managed to get this information. As I'm actually adding a lot of missing content from the Star Wars Galaxies game, I'm very interested to have information about the card game. Best, Hk 47 (talk) 09:15, September 12, 2020 (UTC)

Usage request[edit source]

I really like the artwork of the Chimaera. I'm currently working on an Xwing Alliance Mod (Totally free) with no intention of income or profit called Embers of The Empire. Can I please get your permission to use the Chimaera image as a cover to the mod?

  • No. You may not. The image is an officially licensed artwork owned by Lucasfilm, Fantasy Flight Games and the artist attributed on the image page. But feel free to try to obtain permission from all three of of the legal owners. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 21:22, September 24, 2020 (UTC)

hilts form the lightsaber collection book[edit source]

can you add these hilts from the lightsaber collection please

i can do it myself by but i do not have the digital version of the book.(Mrjosh1994 (talk) 00:07, 27 October 2020 (UTC))

  • I do not believe their is a digital or epub version of the book. All of my uploads are from official previews or pages from the book. But I'm keeping my eye out for a digital version. If I come across it, I will certainly be updating some lightsaber images. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 01:19, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

      • Rest assured, I will post them as I come across them. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 18:02, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

Unlimited Power[edit source]

Hey, so I recently changed the cover image of Unlimited Power to one without a watermark, with higher resolution and only the cover as it should be done, not the whole book from a bad angle. So why did you change it back to the old one again then? CanePlayz (talk) 01:48, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

  • It must have been because I was not on my home computer, the monitor I was using made the image look very grainy and pixelated, so I believed it to be lower quality. I have since reverted the edit as you can see. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 00:33, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

Beskar spear[edit source]

It's clearly a spear but the episode refers to it as a staff so we have to go along with that, as frustrating as it is. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 04:03, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

  • Nowhere in the episode is it referred to as a staff or a spear. Therefore, since it has a pointed end, it's a spear. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 04:13, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
    • Mando says to Ahsoka "She offered me a staff of pure beskar to kill you" but honestly I prefer it being at spear since that's what it is. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 05:48, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

Ahsoka's Image[edit source]

Hey, I had uploaded an image that was better for the character box, IMO, and you reverted my edit. Was it not good? Do you want me to upload a picture without the robe? I truly think the current image lacks the necessary quality for the profile. I apologize for any inconvenience, Pedronog (talk) 01:55, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

  • Sorry for the late response. Fandom never gave me the notice that I had a new post to my talk page. I reverted it because it was a completely different image. For future reference, you shouldn't overwrite an image with a completely different image. It should be from the same scene, with minimal difference - such as a few frames earlier or after. A prime example is this image. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 19:44, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
    • I didn't know that, sorry. Since the picture wasn't used anywhere else, I thought it was better than uploading a new file and then deleting the old one (to avoid creating orphans). By the way, someone mentioned we could use the other option you uploaded for a different page, but it's still a low-quality picture. Do you want me to upload a high-quality version of that frame? | Pedronog (talk) 20:01, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
      • Option 3 that I uploaded is a cropped version of the full screenshot already being used on her page, in the Equipment section I believe. I really wish media players (I use VLC) would get up to date and allow 4k screenshots without muting the colors. It's such a pain to try and edit the photos to match the color quality of the 1080p resolution. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 20:08, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

MR-T3 image?[edit source]

Hi JMAS, I was just wondering if you might be able to get a higher quality image from TCW for me, if possible—specifically, the droid MR-T3. It appears in the episode "The Jedi Who Knew Too Much" from season five, and while I already got a shot of it for the infobox, unfortunately it could sitll look a little better. The droid shows up right around 12:20 in the episode, with probably the best time to get a picture of it in those first few seconds as the camera slightly backs away and you see a little more of the droid, but before the camera changes directions. I'd very much appreciate it if you're able to do this, but if not, no worries. Thanks! LordMominutiae (talk) 20:26, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

  • I'm sure I can muster something up. :) - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 20:28, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
