Clone Wars[edit source]

Hey! I just wanted to let you know that per policy, we shouldn't add information to pages regarding TCW episodes until their initial US Eastern Time Zone airtime. I understand your enthusiasm to add stuff to G-G's page but per policy we must wait to prevent spoilers. Hope you understand! If you have any questions feel free to ask --Lewisr (talk) 18:44, May 3, 2020 (UTC)

  • I know! I just remembered about the policy, I'm so sorry. I was about to revert it before seeing that you have done so. Sorry if I spoiled it for you or anyone else. --Kaedenvdm (talk) 18:50, May 3, 2020 (UTC)
    • No its okay, don't worry it happens. I wasn't spoiled since I'm aware of what happens, lets just hope no one saw or decides to look at older versions of the page! --Lewisr (talk) 18:58, May 3, 2020 (UTC)

Spoiler policy[edit source]

Hey, I noticed that you reverted my contributions on G-G and CH-33P due to spoiler policy. However, the policy states that information can be added upon a television show's initial Eastern Time release (which in the case for "Victory and Death" was 12:00am edt), so the info can stay. I've seen a few people that have been confused on this issue so I just wanted to let you know, thanks. Orbitball || talk page :) 05:13, May 4, 2020 (UTC)

  • Ok thanks for letting me know. Kaedenvdm (talk) 05:19, May 4, 2020 (UTC)

Warning: Uploading[edit source]

While all good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated, we ask that you please refer to Wookieepedia:Images and familiarize yourself with the sourcing and licensing requirements before uploading any more images. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. Continued violation of the image policy or falsification of any information in an upload description are considered vandalism and will likely result in a block. Thank you. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 07:06, May 6, 2020 (UTC)

  • Ok thanks for the warning. - Kaedenvdm (talk) 07.25 May 6, 2020

Dating[edit source]

Hi there, just letting you know that the dates of events can't usually be sourced to the work they appear in. Your edit here, for instance, cites the Battle of Aargonar happening in 22 BBY to Heroes on Both Sides, but the actual episode doesn't explicitly state that. To properly source a date to an event, you need to fit it between two events we know the dates of (usually with the help of Star Wars: Galactic Atlas). Use the date note here as a guide.

Many dates on the wiki are improperly sourced, so it's natural to make the mistake. Just be sure to realize it in the future. Thanks! RattsT (talk) 08:33, June 1, 2020 (UTC)

  • Ok noted, do I have to add a '[source?]' in my edit and on Mina Bonteri's husband and the Battle of Aargonar because I'm not very sure if Star Wars: Galactic Atlas states that the battle takes between any events as I don't own the book. It's even harder as it was mentioned. Thanks for the warning! Kaedenvdm (talk) 08:45, June 1, 2020 (UTC)
    • After looking into it, unfortunately those events can't be placed in a specific year, only between 21 and 20 BBY. You can see the reasoning on this date note, as HoBS and Hostage Crisis take place near each other. If you ever have trouble with date notes, you can check the various Featured, Good, and Comprehensive articles which usually have very rigorously sourced date notes, and you can always reach out to other users who own Galactic Atlas for help as well. Quotes[edit source]

I noticed a typo in your last Clone Wars quote. It should be "now get going" instead of "not get going." I know it's minor, but it bugged me enough to take action. Not gonna edit somebody else's user page though, so I felt obligated to let you know. And, as you seem at least relatively new, welcome to the Wook! :) 104.189.157.130 13:38, June 4, 2020 (UTC)

  • Ok thanks for letting me know! It was a silly typo :p Oops. Sorry for bugging you and thanks for the welcome! (although I've been editing for a few months, you've been for longer) :) Kaedenvdm (talk) 13:41, June 4, 2020 (UTC)

Userpage fanon[edit source]

Hello. This message is to inform you that your fan-made creation on your workspace still counts as fanon despite your attempt to reframe it otherwise. In accordance with Wookieepedia's User page policy, userpage fanon is restricted to 250 words wherever it's being presented. You will therefore need to cut it down to the permissible word length, but in reality you should just take it to the Star Wars Fanon Wiki, where that type of thing belongs. Thank you for your cooperation. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 08:14, June 14, 2020 (UTC)

  • Ok I'll add it there. Mandalorian Death Watch (Vizsla) symbol.png Kaedenvdm (This is the way) 08:20, June 14, 2020 (UTC)
    • Nevermind, I decided not to do it, thanks for the warning. Mandalorian Death Watch (Vizsla) symbol.png Kaedenvdm (This is the way) 08:33, June 14, 2020 (UTC)

Signature[edit source]

Hi, your signature is currently in violation of our Signature policy, which states that images must not be taller than 20 pixels in height. Yours is currently 23 pixels, resulting in excessive whitespace between lines. Please bring your signature in line with policy. Thanks. 1358 (Talk) 14:10, July 9, 2020 (UTC)

  • Sorry if that caused any inconvenience, is this better? Mandalorian Death Watch (Vizsla) symbol.png Kaedenvdm (This is the way) 14:15, July 9, 2020 (UTC)
    • Yep, it's 17 pixels in height now. Thanks for correcting it. 1358 (Talk) 19:47, July 9, 2020 (UTC)

Steven Kynman[edit source]

Hi there, please pay attention when using {{twitter}}. nobackup should only be used when a tweet is no longer available and no backup exists. Furthermore, the status/ part of the URL should be included. Shayanomer and I have fixed it for you. Furthermore, Wikipedia, like Wookieepedia, is a tertiary source and cannot be used as a source for a birth date, for example. 1358 (Talk) 09:00, August 8, 2020 (UTC)

  • Noted. Since I am not very familiar with backup links, I just used the one that was on Gusyin Tatam. Thanks for helping. Mandalorian Death Watch (Vizsla) symbol.png Kaedenvdm (This is the way) 09:05, August 8, 2020 (UTC)
