Galactic BattlegroundsEdit

Is Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds really like AOE2? Is it good?

Kgrimes2
  • Its gameplay is taken directly from AOE2, so if you like AOE2, you'll probably like it. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:37, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Okay thanks! Kgrimes2 22:51, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

ImagesEdit

Please read Wookieepedia:User image policy and Wookieepedia:Editing FAQ#Images. In particular, please note that you're only allowed to upload three images for your personal use, and that uploading images which are resized versions of existing images is not necessary: you can use the images which have already been uploaded, and use the MediaWiki code to resize them. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:37, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Favorite Bounty Hunter Edit

Please feel free to post! BTW mine is Boba Fett! <~Kg®imes2~> 23:21, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Userbox ReplyEdit

Thanks for the compliment Kgrimes2. In answer to your question, most of the userboxes on my page are customized, that you replace original print on the userbox with your own. --Bobafett644 16:03, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Need Help! Edit

Hello everyone out there:
If you are good with HTML codes, could you please clean my page up? The words aren't centered properly, the userboxes are out of size, etc. Thank you very much! <~Kg®imes2~> 05:41, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

ResponseEdit

I'm happy that the userboxes worked for you. Long live the Bounty Hunters! --Bobafett644 12:37, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Need Help for Userboxes! Edit

Hello out there! I need some help with my userboxes.. as you can see on my page that the pictures of some of my custom ones are oversized... could someone tpe-up a proper procedure/method?

Thanks! <~Kg®imes2~> 05:19, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

  • For the images, type in "60px" and that'll shrink 'em down. That's pretty much all I do. Trak Nar Ramble on 05:38, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
  • Thank you, Trak Nar, but I need to know why the pictures on my userpage have that weird border around them with that box at the lower right (I think) of it. Do you know why it does that? Once I did it right (somehow) by accident... but I have no idea how I did it. Trak Nar, I will leave this message on your talk page as well. Thanks! <~Kg®imes2~> 05:03, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
    • The weird border is caused by having "thumb" in the image tag. Nix that and it'll nix the border. ^^ Trak Nar Ramble on 05:24, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
    • Thank you thank you thank you!! Unfortunately, when choosing that option, you are unable to choose the size of the picture, correct? I just have to find smaller ones (or shrink em' down in photoshop, I guess.)? I will also leave this message on your user talk. Is that necessary? Or will it still say "new messages" at the top of the page! Thanks again, I'm a N00B! <~Kg®imes2~> 16:28, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
    • Before I forget, here is this:
60px This user was awarded a Wookiee Cookie from Kgrimes2 on September 30, 2008, for helping Kgrimes2 with his userboxes!

Thanks again! <~Kg®imes2~> 17:28, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Hello out there! Edit

Hello... just wanted to know how I can keep my images that I upload from disappearing. If I have to "source" them, how do I do it and what does that mean? Thanks! <~Kg®imes2~> 05:31, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Weserman Edit

Why are you editing Weserman's userpage. -- SFH 05:00, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

  • I am helping him become familiar with the language of HTML and helping him get settled in Wookieepedia. <~Kg®imes2~> 05:12, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
  • He really was just trying to help me... Thanks Kgrimes2... You Rule! --Weserman 00:51, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Signature Edit

To use the image simply use the code 20px in the signature on your preferences page. If you need more help let me know. Ryan Fett (For Mandalore!)20px 22:55, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Quotes... Edit

Hey out there! If you could spend a second and explain to me why the Jar-Jar quote at the bottom of the page isn't working? Thanks! Emperor_K2 02:38, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Help please... Edit

Hello out there! I am in need of some help... at the bottom of my userpage I have a quote of a conversation between Jar-Jar Binks and Captain Tarpals. For some reason, only part of the quote shows up when I save it. Please help!

Also, I have been having trouble inserting my own uploaded images. When I insert them, soon, they disappear. Some one deleted them and replaced them with some weird code (as you can see on some of my custom userboxes). Thanks again!Kgrimes2 19:10, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

  • I'd say one of the Admins deleted them because there was something wrong with the way they were uploaded. just make sure you are following the directions for upload as close as possible--Darth Marik87 19:27, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Also you might try using one of the other dialogue templates for you quote...--Darth Marik87 19:38, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
    • Okay, can you give me two links to those pages? Not sure where to find the instructions and templates... thanks! Kgrimes2 19:47, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
  • I think I fixed it for you, I used the Dialogue 4 Template. check it out to see if it is what you were looking for.--Darth Marik87 19:55, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
      • Okay, that did it! Thanks! But, real quick, where can I find the rules or guidelines for image uploading? Kgrimes2 20:00, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
  • They should be all over the page you use to upload the file, but just in case you can find the guidelines here. In the future, don't forget you can leave messages on other users talk pages. It could be a little better than waiting for them to see your message and then reply on yours. But of course use whatever is better for you.--Darth Marik87 20:07, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
    • Alright, thanks again! Kgrimes2 03:15, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
      • Not a problem, glad I could help. If you need anything else don't hesitate to ask--Darth Marik87 16:17, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Removing talk messagesEdit

You don't get to just remove other users' talk messages from your talk page. If you don't want to look at them anymore, feel free to archive them. Thank you for your cooperation. Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:55, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Sorry about that. Can you tell me how to "archive" them? My page was just getting a little cluttered... Kgrimes2 03:16, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
    • It's important to be able to have a record of past posts. To archive, just create a sub talk page, and paste your old talk page messages into there. Make sure to link to your archived talk page somewhere so others can see it. An example of an archived talk page can be seen here: User talk:Toprawa and Ralltiir/archive1 Toprawa and Ralltiir 03:42, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Help please... (again) :P Edit

Hello... again...
Can one of you guys help me with a quote again? It's acting up... and can you show me how you did it for future reference? Thanks SO much!
Kgrimes2 03:07, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Category list... Edit

Could someone please post a link to a complete list of all the categories? I understand the formula: Category:XXXXXX, but It would be handy to have a list of all of them. If one exists.
Thanks! Kgrimes2 17:47, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Userbox template? Edit

Is there a userbox template that I can use to formally arrange my userboxes? Please post aforementioned format here. Thanks!
Kgrimes2 04:45, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

I use this myself on another wiki:

{| style="float: left; border: 1px solid #blue" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4"
! style="background: #blue; text-align: center"|Userboxes
|-
|{{Userbox}}
|-
|{{Userbox}}
|-
|{{Userbox}}
|}

I Hope it works out for you dude, Cheers MadclawShyriiwook! 04:57, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

    • Thanks man! Kgrimes2 05:01, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
      • Um... I tried it out but it didn't work out precisely as I had expected. If you get a chance, could you fix it/tell me how to fix it? Thanks! Kgrimes2 05:09, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Userbox Edit

You should remove the pre and the nowiki's from the code I gave you ;) Just copy the code in the rectangle MadclawShyriiwook! 05:10, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Yea! It works. Thanks man! Kgrimes2 00:52, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Delete Page Edit

How does one completely delete a WookieePedia page? Kgrimes2 06:17, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Only the administration can fully delete a page; however, if there is a page that is spam, fanon, nonsense, or the like, you can tag it for deletion by placing {{delete}} at the top of the page. For articles that don't fall under those three categories, the Trash compactor can be used to remove the article, though this method requires weeks of deliberation and is only really used when the article in question has been around for quite some time or is a highly-used page. Do you have one in mind? JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 06:37, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
    • Okay, thank you. I actually have several. The Star Wars PocketModel TCG page did not have links to the different sets. So, I created these pages. It turns out that someone had already created these pages, but the hadn't created links to them. So, I was going to delete that pages that I had created. Here are links to the pages that should be deleted:

Base Set
Ground Assault Set
Scum and Villainy Set
Clone Wars Set
Secret Weapons Set
Galaxy at War Set
Special Release Sets
Thanks! (Should I put the {{delete}} tag on now?) Thanks again! Kgrimes2 07:07, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Signature Edit

I read on the Policy page that you needed help with your signature. Do you still need it, or are you fine?—B-Boba Fett! He'll kill us all! 20px 01:09, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

  • Yeah, I got it down. Thanks though, man!
