Asajj Ventress Edit

I noticed you changed Rendili to taking place before TCW. I'm changing it back, since Leland Chee has confirmed that the show takes place after Anakin got his scar, unless you can provide a source. Thanks. —Milo Fett[Comlink] 01:02, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

Aw, come on! In TWC, Anakin had different hair and a Padawan. In Chapter 22 and Rendili, Anakin's hair grew and Ahsoka somehow didn't appear in either of them, which mean she probably died before Ventress's disappearance. The events in Obsession took immediately after Rendili... Get the picture now, pal? Lord KOT 01:23, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

Also, I noticed your the headshot you asked Redemption for. I'll give you a little tip. Don't attempt to change the infobox picture from the current comic image to one from TCW. It has been tried before and a majority of users voted and felt the comic rendition looks better. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:25, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

    • Better? It's covered in red! If not CGI, why not the picture from the Jedi Trial? That's realistic enough for ya. Lord KOT 23:59, September 14, 2009 (UTC)
  • Anakin's hair is the least of our worries, as that can be chalked up to artistic license (officially, he'd been growing it out and had kept it in the Padawan topknot); however, him receiving the scar cannot, not to mention all of the mentions of Anakin's "new" knighthood. I advise you to re-read Obsession and note that it never explicitly gives Rendili as the cause of her injuries. The closest it comes is Dooku referring to how she stayed alive on Coruscant--which, in either case, happened prior to this storyline. It may have been intended to happen shortly before Obsession, but it looks like that's no longer the case. Since we have an official source stating that the series definitely takes place after he gets his scar, which we know is in Rendili, this seems like the most logical order for now. —Milo Fett[Comlink] 04:50, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
    • DRAT! AND DOUBLE DRAT!!!Lord KOT 22:30, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
    • It would be nice if there didn't have to be any speculation at all, but that's TCW continuity for ya. Also, not that I mind or anything, but correcting capitalization and etc. in other people's posts is generally frowned upon. Just a heads-up. —Milo Fett[Comlink] 00:09, September 16, 2009 (UTC)
      • Okay then... Lord KOT 02:49, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

My Gift Edit

Ventress vs. Plo Koon

My first gift.

My second gift.

Since Redemption was unwilling to upload this, I took the liberty to do so myself. My only question is which panel of the Ventress/Dooku on Skywalker duel do you want uploaded, as they all seem good for that. Jensaarai 07:33, November 7, 2009 (UTC)

  • Thanks, but it doesn't seem to appear. Lord KOT 14:36, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
    • Here's the actual image, someone went and renamed it. Jensaarai 02:58, November 8, 2009 (UTC)
      • Tell the dude/gal I said thanks! Lord KOT 03:42, November 8, 2009 (UTC)
      • As for the image for Dooku/Ventress on Anakin, try having all three together. Lord KOT 15:00, November 8, 2009 (UTC)
        • Top 3 or bottom 3, there are 4. Jensaarai 16:50, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
          • I meant having all three duelist together. Try the one at the far bottom. Lord KOT 01:27, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
            • Sorry I took so long. Jensaarai 03:17, December 8, 2009 (UTC)
              • S'alright! Lord KOT 03:39, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

Battle of Coruscant (Clone Wars) Edit

I would suggest you talk with Chack Jadson (or whoever took it to FA) before making such a major expansion to the article. --Xd1358 Talk 18:34, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

  • Hmm...Well, the info you added is mostly unneeded. Things like Dooku/Tyranus is kinda unnecessary, I'd say. Chack Jadson (Talk) 01:34, November 12, 2009 (UTC)
    • He may have been known publicly was Dooku, but that only hid his true self when he went dark: Darth Tyranus. One man, two identities. As for the details on Grievous, you think about putting in his meeting Anakin in person? Lord KOT 03:27, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

Appearances/Question Edit

May I ask why you're changing appearances of, for example, Anakin Skywalker to Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader? I don't know of any policy or precedent that says this should be done. If anything, the links should simply be as close to actual article name as possible. NayayenOld Republic military symbol(talk) 01:14, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

  • Well, I like to see things in a more Two-Face fashion: one man, two names. Lord KOT 02:00, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

KOTOR reveal Edit

Please do NOT rush to fix everything revealed in latest KOTOR issue. There is a one month spoiler period - and {{Majorspoiler}} exists for a reason. Thank to you guys I already spoiled the reveal for myself, but please do care about casual readers! MauserComlink 21:03, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

  • Aw, come on! We can't all be kept being left out of the loop, you know. Lord KOT 21:05, November 19, 2009 (UTC)
    • Yes, we can. With the Alek Squinquargesimus = Darth Malak and A'Sharad Hett = Darth Krayt reveals we had a full month before the articles were merged together, the appearances and the image categorization were also now updated right away. Have patience. MauserComlink 21:10, November 19, 2009 (UTC)
      • Alright, but that hardly seems fair! And we want some pictures! Lord KOT 21:12, November 19, 2009 (UTC)
        • And don't put spoilers in edit summaries, something I'm pretty sure you've already been warned about. -- I need a name (Complain here) 13:01, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Question Edit

Hey Lord KOT,

I was just curious as to from where you are getting the info that you are adding to Darth Bane. Do you have an advance copy of Dynasty of Evil or something?Tommy9281 Dark side Master SWGTCG (No truth in me) 02:22, December 5, 2009 (UTC)

  • Not really, but I do plan to get my hands on that book once it comes out. Lord KOT 02:23, December 5, 2009 (UTC)
    • Well where is the info you added coming from?Tommy9281 Dark side Master SWGTCG (No truth in me) 02:27, December 5, 2009 (UTC)
      • From the spoilers. What else? Lord KOT 03:25, December 5, 2009 (UTC)

Ventress Japanese Cover Edit

Is this satisfactory? Jensaarai 03:12, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

I'll certainly do my best. Jensaarai 03:04, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

  • That's one down! Lord KOT 03:40, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

Showdown on Coruscant Edit

Please note that {{Ref}} tags are supposed to be used on sources in the infobox, and are not to be used in the article body. Thank you. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 15:19, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

  • I gather that already. Lord KOT 15:50, July 17, 2010 (UTC)
    • Then please do not make any more edits that remove Ref tags from the infobox and add them to the body, as you did here. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 15:52, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, just letting you know that "Dialogue" is used only for 3 or more speakers; use "Quote" for everything else. Chack Jadson (Talk) 15:32, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

RE:Quests - Legacy 50 Edit

Hey Lord KOT,

While I am totally capable of honoring your request, I am not the individual who took either of those articles to FA status. You may therefore want to contact Grunny about Darth Azard, and AdmirableAckbar regarding Vul Isen. Both are exemplary Wookieepedians, and both are more than willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Let me know if they agree to your proposed additions, and then I'll upload the images you need. If there is anything else I can do for you in the meanwhile, don't hesitate to ask :)Tommy 9281 00:37, September 4, 2010 (UTC)

swtor Edit

TOR Wiki has been nominated to become an Official Friends of Wookieepedia, and has received support votes from several users including an administrator and a bureaucrat. As Wookiepedian who is following SWTOR I am messaging you to ask if you would consider voting. Thanks. Alexsau1991 (talk page) StupidSithEmblem-Traced-TORkit 17:36, September 22, 2010 (UTC)

Verify Edit

Please know that you are adding in unsourced information into IU articles without sourcing them. Edits like these: [1] and [2] will be reverted if you don't source them. In the game itself, she is said to be dead, but that retcon wasn't introduced until last Friday, because of the canon-crippling TCW. In the future, please properly source anything. Thank you for your cooperation. JangFett (Talk) 16:20, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

Please do not edit user subpages in the future. Mine or anyone else's. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 01:38, December 9, 2010 (UTC)

Hey is their a website where ask Lobot answers are displayed?

  • I forget. Lord KOT 18:48, December 15, 2010 (UTC)

Sourcing Edit

Please source your edits. It's part of site policy. Thanks. Graestan(Talk) 14:53, December 28, 2010 (UTC)

  • Yeah, well I've been sourcing, but the others have repeatedly ignored them. I don't get it. Lord KOT 15:01, December 28, 2010 (UTC)
    • You're not sourcing. Your edits to Dark Apprentice violated the policy I linked to. Please fix that edit accordingly and begin sourcing. You can't go around adding unsourced material. And please familiarize yourself with the ins and outs of attribution by reading the policy. Graestan(Talk) 15:02, December 28, 2010 (UTC)
      • I'll try to source more often, though some articles may not demand it. Lord KOT 16:23, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

TFU2 Edit

Unfortunately, I don't know how to get them except in trailers, where it's generally very hard to get high quality ones. Sorry for that.--ID-21 Dolphin DolphinJedi(Talk) 07:52, December 30, 2010 (UTC)

That's okay. You know someone else who can around here? Lord KOT 16:21, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Inuse Edit

Please do not edit articles with {{Inuse}} attached. Those articles are currently undergoing major edits, and to avoid edit conflicts, other users should not edit the articles while the notice is up. 1358 (Talk) 16:19, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

Div boxes Edit

I see that you have been adding overflow div boxes within infoboxes. However, I would like to point out that it deforms the monobook skin rather badly. I think the infoboxes are fine as is. JangFett (Talk) 04:01, February 13, 2011 (UTC)

Summary Edit

Hi Lord KOT! Please remember to leave an edit summary when you edit an article, to do this look above the "save" button. Thanks! --Talrrivanian JaingHead (Headquarters) 15:00, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Oops. Lord KOT 15:02, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Zhorrid Edit

Hello Lord KOT,

Can you please provide a link to the source for Darth Zhorrid? Thanks,—Tommy 9281 Friday, December 2, 2011, 03:50 UTC

Look it up on the Talk page, my friend. Lord KOT 21:03, December 2, 2011 (UTC)

Rugess Nome Edit

Please stop changing the name of Rugess Nome to Tenebrous. According to the naming policy, Rugess Nome is the proper name of the article and the mention of the character in the body of the article and in the Infobox needs to remain the same as the title of the article. Making major changes like that can cause some to feel that you are vandalizing the article. GethralkinHyperwave 04:12, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

Dray article Edit

Try not to cut and paste information from one article to another. Besides the fact that each article should be written with the subject of the article in mind, using another user's work and pasting it is representing someone else's hard work as your own. Please don't do this again, thanks.--Demos Traxen (talk) 22:53, September 1, 2012 (UTC)

  • Well, I had to find SOMETHING for the article, since nobody else would! Lord KOT (talk) 00:04, September 2, 2012 (UTC)
    • Then simply read the comic and write a new section yourself. The comic only came out four days ago—Impatience is no excuse for the plagiarizing of others' work.--Demos Traxen (talk) 01:24, September 2, 2012 (UTC)
      • Not so sure if I can do that much. Wish people would read them more often. Lord KOT (talk) 02:31, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

Your attitude Edit

Please note that many of the users are usually busy with other projects. If we don't get to adding information to a project that you are watching, there is no reason why you can't get the source material and expand on those articles yourself. Insulting the userbase by calling us all "lazy" will not get us to do what you want. We are not at your beck and call. If you continue with such an attitude as was displayed here, then you will not only make enemies with other users, but force the administration to do something about it. Please remain civil toward other users. If you want something done, and you want it done now, go get the source material and do it yourself. Ordering others around is not how one contributes to Wookieepedia. Thank you. Trak Nar Ramble on 06:10, September 13, 2012 (UTC)

  • Sorry about that. Kinda lost my temper there. I'll keep that in mind. Lord KOT (talk) 00:06, September 14, 2012 (UTC)
    • In the same vein, please watch your tone in edit summaries. "Whoever is doing misspelled words and adding too much bracketed words should stop and have his or her brain examined" is unnecessary and borders on a personal attack. Please try to be more pleasant in the future. Cade Calrayn StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 22:09, September 21, 2012 (UTC)
      • Sorry. Sometimes, I can't help myself. Lord KOT (talk) 22:11, September 21, 2012 (UTC)
        • Again. Enough with the attitude, man. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 03:33, February 14, 2015 (UTC)

Darth Krayt Edit

Hi, I just noticed u messed up some references in Darth Krayt's article. Can you fixed that up, please? Thanks and thanks for updating references. --Jedi Marty (talk) 01:39, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

Xanatos Edit

Hey, thanks for noticing my work on the Dairoki article, but I've actually never read the Jedi Apprentice series, and don't know much about Xanatos outside of the Jedi: The Dark Side series. I'd absolutely be willing to help with those sections, though making it match well with the contradictory information from the past might not be too fun. Let me know. Unsigned comment by Demos Traxen (talk • contribs).

  • Great! I'll let you work on filling out the info from The Dark Side. Besides, I've done enough from the Jedi Apprentice series already for a while, because I had to read the ones involving Xanatos from different libraries in my home state. Lord KOT (talk) 16:29, January 31, 2014 (UTC)

Son of Dathomir Edit

Hey Lord KOT. Son of Dathomir is a Canon-only story, so please don't add Legends links to its appearances lists (and, additionally, please don't add the comic to Legends appearances list). Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 04:09, July 19, 2014 (UTC)

Re: The Dark Side articles Edit

Right now, I'm focusing all my efforts on the Qui-Gon article. I'm planning to finish the in-universe portion of the article and then move it from my subpage to the mainspace, while I work on the Bts and continue tracking down all the sources. Once the move is done, I might take a look at the other The Dark Side-related articles, but until then, no promises. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 10:50, September 18, 2015 (UTC)

Rebels Season 2 Easter Egg (that no one noticed!!) Edit

Nod-Shadow-Wolf (on DeviantArt)

Greetings, Lord KOT.

There's something important that I feel should be included on the wiki:a certain something in the Rebels season 2 final, that no one has realised yet.

Here's the deal, whilst I was watching the season 2 final for the umpteenth time, I realised something peculiar about the 7th Brother's helmet. After pausing and analysing the scene in which I noticed it, I discovered that the 7th Brother had the same helmet design as the Sith Stalker's Sith Lord Armor from the TFU: Ultimate Sith game, though the reason. No one realised was because he had a noticeably different visor, but other then that, the helmet was the same; the sloped sides, the grooves at the rim and even the over lapping plates at the top.

Now, naturally, I tried posting it on the wiki, but I didn't have an account. So I tried getting one, but my browser kept causing issues that prevented me from doing so, so I had to reside to making a crude post on my DA page.

Fortunately, one of my Watchers mentioned you to me, so, if it's not too much trouble, would you mind adding it to the wiki? I think it's something the fandom would like to know...

Not so sure how, pal. Long live the Sith (talk) 22:44, April 23, 2017 (UTC)

Anyway would be fine: add it as a footnote to the 7th Brother's equipment summary like I tried to do, or somewhere at the Sith Stalker's. Could even add it to either of there "Behind the Scenes" stuff. Which ever you think would work. (Nod-Shadow-Wolf (on DA))

File sizeEdit

There is absolutely no reason to re-upload images to "reduce file size" - none whatsoever. Particularly when is dropping 0.08 MB. I will be uploading the remainder of the Tales of the Jedi comic images with higher quality digital versions and, unless the uploaded file is somehow corrupted, there will be no reason to re-upload them after me. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 06:27, March 10, 2018 (UTC)

Image sourcing warning Edit

While all good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated, we ask that you please refer to Wookieepedia:Images and familiarize yourself with the sourcing and licensing requirements before uploading any more images. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. Continued violation of the image policy or falsification of any information in an upload description are considered vandalism and will likely result in a block. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 03:39, April 1, 2018 (UTC)

Sorry. Wasn't so sure I could wait for those uploads any longer. Long live the Sith (talk) 03:45, April 1, 2018 (UTC)

  • Please consider this your second formal warning regarding proper image uploading with respect to adding the required licensing and sourcing information. You recently uploaded a new version of File:Blue Group.PNG with all of the necessary requirements missing. I realize the image was originally uploaded incorrectly by another user, but you are nonetheless responsible for adding or updating any missing information when you reupload an image. You're very good at uploading high-quality images, which is valuable to our project, so I don't want to see you potentially getting blocked for this. Please remember to adhere to the uploading requirements from now on. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 01:43, June 16, 2020 (UTC)

Komari Vosa Edit

Hi there! I was curious of where you got confirmation that Dooku was referring to Komari Vosa in The Lost One episode?--Tetsu Aero (talk) 19:18, June 4, 2018 (UTC)

Mostly, it was educated guesswork. Long live the Sith (talk) 04:07, June 6, 2018 (UTC)

Resurrection Edit

why darth maul legends article says he die in 0bby? the darth maul that die in 0bby wasn´t the real darth maul it was a dopplegenger

why darth maul legends article says he was originaly born on iridonia and yet his biographic information says he was born on dathomir?

Don't look at me. I just found the article. Long live the Sith (talk) 22:21, November 24, 2018 (UTC)

Epic Collection images Edit

Please do not replace the Epic collection/digital comic images that have already been uploaded. There is no need. Lowering the file size does not improve the quality of the image, and in fact, could quite possibly be lowering the image quality slightly. Otherwise, why would the file size be smaller if from the same source? Wookieepedia's image policy, in fact, states that images are not to be replaced or duplicated unless it is to improve the image quality. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 13:35, April 24, 2019 (UTC)

Your edits Edit

Don't do this anymore. If something is formatted a certain way in a status article, assume it's correct until you personally check it against the source. Moreover, you shouldn't be adding or modifying anything in an article that you can't personally verify in a given source. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:07, May 10, 2019 (UTC)

Comic replacementsEdit

Please note, while your upgraded comic image uploads are appreciated, you should make sure they adhere to the image policy. Specifically, while older images may have their dialogue bubbles blanked out, this procedure was actually prohibited as far back as 2006 and just never properly enforced. For future reference, section 8.1 of the current policy clarifies when it is acceptable to remove text from comic panels. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 17:09, March 7, 2020 (UTC)
