QOTD advice[]
Before you ask, I'm no Admin. I'm just giving advice. First, you'll have ACTUAL Admins breathing down your neck if you don't sign your comments. You don't have to do it EVERY time (at least I don't every time.) but do it most times. And for actual edits, hit the random link and see if you can find something you know about. This kind of thing might also give you ideas about OTHER things you can edit. It'll help a lot. Another thing: Fix grammar and spelling errors. You wouldn't believe how much it helps. Also, edit one section at a time. It helps you get more edits and it also can help you spot more errors to fix, helping make wookieepedia more accurate which is all our secondary goal, right. Lastly, some large articles are laden with info gaps and grammatical errors. I know I got a lot of edits out of the ROTS game article. Thanks for reading. Roger Roger 01:46, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
QOTD requisite[]
There's a requisite of 50 article edits to vote on things like QOTD or Featured Articles. Looks like you're currently at 41, so for now your votes will have to be crossed. They'll be un-crossed as soon as you hit 50. Sorry for the inconvenience. Enochf 17:37, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

- Hey, sorry to hear you've been blocked (only found out today due to no notice on your talk page), anyways just hope you'll stay around once your back and bring the SWTCG right up to scratch, I know it needs a little rewrite in some places but I'm not sure how to go about it. I've also asked on the Admin noticeboard if it would be okay to put a mention of the IDC in the BTS so hopefully they'll agree to that. See you around hopefully - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 18:24, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Hey Manoof, thanks for answering my question!! Could you point me in the right direction for maps that possibly navigate from satellites, and the micro-power cell of droidekas. Thank YOU[]
Thank YOU for the kind words! Yeah, as far as I know, that template should only be put up if an article on a living person is written in some bizarre way --- eg, treating them as if they're already dead, treating them like an in-universe Star Wars character, etc. Explaining why you revert someone's edits is always a good practice, and I'm glad you appreciate it. ^^ Menkooroo (talk) 13:03, November 25, 2013 (UTC)

Disappointed[]
I have been continuing to notice this form of laziness for quite some time now. I am disappointed that you, Ayrehead, Corellian Premier, and dogma failed to catch the most blatant mistakes in Lee's Roan Shryne CAN. As reviewers, it is your responsibility to thoroughly check each and every part of a CAN. Let us look at some mistakes that no one caught while giving the article a copy-edit: I am assuming that you guys are aware of the February 2012 Mofference in which we changed the infobox name procedure. All non-disambig conjectural titled articles must always have the entire title in the name parameter. So at the moment, the name parameter is completely incorrect. Next, the double brackets of the infobox box needs its space removed. It should look like |apprentices=}}
. After that, "The Padawan and its master." Do you see anything wrong here? Yes, we do not know if the person is a male or female, but we also do not know if the person is asexual, as the "its" is implying here. I told Lee about this a few days ago so I am upset that he did not catch this instance here. Lastly, I would give the entire article another copy-edit, just to clear up any grammatical mistakes.
I hope you guys take what I said into consideration because, as Educorps members, you need to show a good example for newer writers and editors. If you make these little mistakes consistently, I can assure you that they will most likely pick up those bad habits. Not only that, they might appear in your writing as well. Take your time while reviewing articles, even if they are small and less than 250 words. JangFett (Talk) 14:25, March 30, 2014 (UTC)

Hey, Manoof, good job on these RC clones. Two of them are over 250 words now, so I archive them later (its 3 am at my location), so that you can take them to GAN. Clone Commander Lee Talk 00:56, April 6, 2014 (UTC)

Re: source of the image[]
Hi! Indeed, the image doesn't come from the game itself, and to my knowledge it either doesn't come from the game guide. I had found it on a forum, someone has certainly realised the screen capture by using a mod that allows you to move the camera freely. So in fact, yes, the screen comes from the game, but not in its original condition, because the author of the screen used a mod. Hoping that my indications help you ;) Maguinic (talk) 11:30, April 12, 2014 (UTC)
Re:Clone troopers confusion[]
Hmmm, my thoughts have always been that Human should be included in Clone trooper articles, and I've also thought that the idea was that our articles are to be written as though they are being read by people that know nothing about Star Wars so that every bit of information is included. I'll see what the others think, but this may have to go to a larger discussion. Commander Code-8 Felicitations malefactors! 09:09, April 28, 2014 (UTC)
- That is incorrect. Mentioning Human male or just Human clone trooper is redundant since saying "clone trooper" alone already covers it. JangFett (Talk) 13:28, April 28, 2014 (UTC)

Character infobox[]
Hello, in your recent edits, you have been changing infoboxes from "Character" to "Character infobox" which is a redirect. As "Character" is the correct, non-redirect form, please change all of the infoboxes back to saying "Character" without infobox. Thank you.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 06:15, January 11, 2015 (UTC)
- To make things clear, "Character infobox" still works properly, there just isn't any reason to have the "infobox" tacked on the end. Your addition/fixing of the fields (i.e. "|mass=") is what is removing the pages from the missing parameters category.--Exiled Jedi

Re:Racer game guide[]
Hi, Manoof. I've got both the Prima Guide and Nintendo Guide for that game, but thanks for the heads up! Yah, I do a bit of Podracing work for whatever reason. Republic Commando turrets[]
Hey. I see you moved a couple of turrets from Republic Commando to names from the Prima guide and removed the LucasArts web link from sources. The names the pages were originally at appear to be taken from the LucasArts website so are correct too. You can find an archived copy of the page here. Look under navigate > gameplay > turrets. The specifications don't seem to have survived archiving but the names are still there. Green Tentacle (Talk) 11:34, January 12, 2015 (UTC)

Regarding your edit on Stavan[]
- I am quite certain that the transmission was not sent by Desann. It was definitely Fyyar's voice. Path-x (talk) 23:08, February 4, 2015 (UTC)
- It is definitely not Desann. It is Fayyar and that is clearly stated in the game. The decoded conversation between Fayyar and Kejim base contains four pieces:
- "Please proceed with your transmission, Admiral Fyyar."
- "Convey my dissatisfaction with commander Stavan on his performance. Inform him that he has been removed from command and will be reassigned. That is all."
- "We'll send the message immediately."
- And some probe droid beeping.
- Therefore please check the game again and correct the article accordingly. Path-x (talk) 10:21, February 5, 2015 (UTC)
- I am sorry but making the conclusion based on your hearing perception is completely subjective and not acceptable. To you it sounds like Desann, to me it sounds like Fyyar, so we won't get anywhere with that. The fact is that the same cut scene mentions transmission from Fyyar. You may make a far-fetched assumption that it refers to another transmission, however that does not make any sense from the game mechanics perspective. The particular cut scene was designed to to tell the player something, not to confuse the player. Additional story-perspective argument is that Admiral Fyyar was part of Imperial remnant military and therefore Stavan was in his direct chain of command, which makes it obvious that he would be the one to remove him from the post. Desann was not part of the military and had no reason to manage the relatively low-level business in the military. Path-x (talk) 17:28, February 6, 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for the edit. I agree that it is the best to keep the author of the transmission undisclosed until we get some official confirmation. But the only way to confirm this would be contacting either LucasArts or Raven Software. Path-x (talk) 12:59, February 7, 2015 (UTC)
- I am glad we sorted it out. Thank you for correcting it back. Path-x (talk) 20:15, March 3, 2015 (UTC)

Omnibus A Long Time Ago Answer[]
Hey, dude. Just got your message. I gave the issue a quick once over, and there isn't any direct reference to the fact that it takes place in 3 ABY. Obviously, it was published after the Empire adaptation, though what that really says about (non) canonical placement is really up in the air. Hope that helps. TIEPilot051999 (talk) 18:03, February 24, 2015 (UTC)
Re: New Essential Chronology question[]
I don't see anything relating to the events on Aargau, but I do see that it places the events of Star Wars 52 between 3 ABY and 3.5 ABY. I don't know too much about the old Marvel comics, but if the stories are chronological, you should be able to place Star Wars 48 in 3 ABY.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 02:48, February 26, 2015 (UTC)
What are you doing with changing the legends and Canon articles
Legends articles that only exist in canon sources[]
Please note that any subject that only exists in canon sources prior to the Canon announcement should still have a Legends article. While I am unsure if those articles you changed are particularly worthy of having any pages, please do not simply change Legends pages into Canon articles. Thank you.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 12:42, February 27, 2015 (UTC)

RE: AT-TE[]
Of course, I am happy to help! In terms of the crew of the walker, this is the entirety of what the guide has to say: "Due to its size and complexity, the AT-TE requires a large crew consisting of a pilot, a spotter, and four support members to operate the laser cannons and serve as technicians. A seventh crew member controls the projectile cannon from an external firing chair. Most AT-TEs also keep an IM-6 medical droid on board." It additionally makes note of the walker's ability to carry ten clone troopers. Hope this helps! JethLordMaster (Xia Order) 01:58, March 4, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Another NEC question[]
Well, a section labeled 0 - 0.5 ABY mentions the Bounty Hunter Wars, but it doesn't mention Cradossk's death. If his death happened at the start of the Wars, you can probably state that it occurred in 0 ABY.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 01:49, March 17, 2015 (UTC)
- I would check to see if there is a source that says how long the Wars lasted. Then you might be able to definitively place it in 0 ABY.--Exiled Jedi
(Greetings) 01:54, March 17, 2015 (UTC)
- As a note, I don't think you can use that reference to place Chek's part of the book in the Rise of the Empire era. From what you have now it still could have been written in between the start of the Rebellion era and the Bounty Hunter Wars.--Exiled Jedi
(Greetings) 02:26, March 17, 2015 (UTC)
- You can say in the body that he wrote it before or during 0 ABY. That's really all that can be said without speculation in the body. Then I would suggest mentioning in the BTS that Chentu Chek lived around the same time as Dengar along with a mention of the timeframes where Dengar was active.--Exiled Jedi
(Greetings) 02:35, March 17, 2015 (UTC)
- I would argue that it is not trivia since it helps give the reader an idea of the timeframe when the bike was used. Right now, just reading the article does not really give all the information, you would have to go around and look at other articles. Also, why did you say c. 0-1 ABY in the note? Saying c. 0 ABY is sufficient. That leaves it open that it could have occurred in another year, while adding 1 ABY gives a year that is not in the source.--Exiled Jedi

- All right, here are a few more things:
- The BTS sections in these now need to be sourced as the information you added is not self-sourcing.
- While it is probably not clear enough to go in the body, Cradossk's intro mentions that the updated edition overviews recently introduced trade tools. This needs to be mentioned somehow in the article; the BTS would probably be the best place.
- The particle shield for the 88-R also protects against wind.
- 88-R Nightscreamer is at 250 words and BAX-7 landspeeder is at 233 words.. I would recommended sectioning these articles and taking them to the GAN page when you have an available spot.--Exiled Jedi

The Pit Droid Award of Diligence
I, Master Jonathan, do hereby award Manoof the Sentient Droid the Pit Droid Award of Diligence for all of its (his?) numerous edits and hours of work spent on fixing infoboxes and other monotonous work.
The work you are doing may seem minor, in that it doesn't usually change the visual output of the articles, but on a technical level, work like this is critical to the smooth operation of Wookieepedia. And it's long past time that you received a formal award for this work. Keep it up and you just might render bots obsolete! (OK, not really. But thank you for the effort anyway. :) ) —MJ— War Room 08:19, April 30, 2015 (UTC)

Hey, sorry I took so long to respond. I just got busy and kind of forgot. Anyway, if you're still looking for info on Star Wars #48, it does not establish the year, and neither do the issues before or after. Re: RPGseed template[]
The RPGseed template should contain information related to player involvement in a suggested adventure seed provided in a roleplaying book or article. Basically an adventure seed is not a fully fledged out adventure, it just gives a brief idea and provides a suggestion for how the events should unfold. As the player involvement is less defined that in a standard adventure, we have this template to denote this. The only thing I was trying to say on the nomination page was where the RPGseed template is to be used. You are correct that the investigation should probably be mentioned in the BTS in addition to the main body.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 13:43, May 25, 2015 (UTC)

Hello, Cevan! Is there a way I could contact you privately? I may have a pleasant surprise for you, something that's SW: Uprising related! :)--LelalMekha (talk) 18:35, August 17, 2016 (UTC)
- Well, I accidentally wrote Cevan, but I did mean you, Manoof. --LelalMekha (talk) 23:18, August 17, 2016 (UTC)
SW Uprising crew[]
Hey Manoof! Here's a dropbox link to my repository of Crew Members. Nothing too rare, alas, but I do have some elements that you don't. By all means, feel free to also add yours in there! --LelalMekha (talk) 14:37, September 23, 2016 (UTC)
- I have a few screenshots from your list at my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/silly_dan137/ —Silly Dan (talk) 18:04, September 25, 2016 (UTC)

Re: Project Data Seekers[]
Thanks for welcoming me to the project, glad to be part of it! My current plan is to expand on Deathstick's connections whenever I've got the time to go through the source material again (it's a bit time consuming to watch the Lets Plays- even though it's very fun!) and move onto expanding the info about other characters and their connections from the game.

I'm sorry for the mistake, but there was a mistake, two sources fighting on the name of the Clawdite Bouty Hunter. Now it's correct, Zam Wesell. I'm sorry 'cause I answer only now. Goodnight, Bouty killer- Riccardo De Col --DeCol (talk) 01:32, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

Hey Manoof. I do agree that this edit was an improvement over the prior wording, so thanks for that, but since we were already discussing it in an objection I'd have perfered it if you resolved the discussion with me instead of striking your edit and copy-editing instead. Thanks. Fan26 (Talk) 15:35, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
- Luca DM'd me over Discord, and I understand that it was his suggestion. You're all good, don't worry! Fan26 (Talk) 15:45, 15 January 2022 (UTC)

Hey! On LewisR's talk page, March 31, 2022, you left a message about a Raxus droid TC update[[1]]. You wrote it to me and not to LewisR. I am a bit confused. Would you please help me out and explain what's going on? Many thanks, Red Heathen (talk) 21:48, 4 April 2022 (UTC)

As part of my writing of the article, it expanded to over 250 words. I was told that what I needed to do was to contact an EduCorps member to withdraw the CAnom. Can you please withdraw the Chiss Ascendancy's northeast-zenith sector CAnom? ThrawnChiss7 (talk) 12:04, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
