Hi, and thank you for your edits on the Timeline of galactic history page! Please note that the {{TCW}} citation template has been created specifically to format references to TCW episodes, so I'd appreciate it if you put it to good use when editing! Cheers, Imperators II(Talk) 21:19, December 27, 2017 (UTC)

  • Please use TCW template, your additions are fine, but they've been made in incorrectly please correct all your additions--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 19:01, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
    • Okay, I'm going to have to ask you to please look at the references other users have previously added on the same page that you're editing. Note that {{TCW}} is not the only citation template out there, there's also one for Rebels etc. Please use them. And most of the titles which don't go into a citation template are at least italicized. Imperators II(Talk) 22:04, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
      • Again, please the correct template here is the one for rebels {{Rebels}} and add the italicized format to books and comics like this. ''Ahsoka'' Its the second time I need to correct all your additions--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 05:05, December 29, 2017 (UTC)
        • Please use the templates, there's a reason of why they were created. If you don't know how to use look for examples or just don't add anything until you understand how to use them--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:39, December 29, 2017 (UTC)

Stop uploading these images unless you give them an appropriate name[]

Please. For now, I'll continue to flag them for deletion. There isn't a way to change an image's name after it has been posted. You should also read Wookieepedia:Images for later.--ZapikCZ (talk) 18:57, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

  • Actually there is, see this as an example --Lewisr (talk) 18:57, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

Sourcing images[]

Hello, please remember when you upload images to include this template or by using this and filling out the table to ensure that your images don't get deleted, thanks --Lewisr (talk) 19:07, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

Hello, please take a look at this to look at how the referencing is done for future reference when you're sourcing your edits on articles, thanks --Lewisr (talk) 04:56, February 15, 2019 (UTC)

SW Adventures[]

Hi, just to let you know that since SW Adventures is a comic with two stories on it, we usually wait on adding the appearances until we know the name of the story --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 19:55, April 19, 2019 (UTC)

TROS visual guide[]

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary does not use BBY/ABY so therefore we need to explain how the BSI/ASI system it uses converts to BBY/ABY, look at how its done on Mission to Pasaana and that should help show what needs to be done, let me know if you have any questions --Lewisr (talk) 15:26, December 25, 2019 (UTC)

Hello, BSI or ASI is not an in universe dating system so please stop adding years being ID'ed as 29 BSI etc, its just something Pablo used to no doubt make it easy for people to follow dates for TROS --Lewisr (talk) 02:02, December 26, 2019 (UTC)

Resistance dates[]

So I’ve seen you adding Star Wars Resistance based on the Rise of Skywalker dictionary. Thank you for that, but doesn’t it place Station to Station as being half way after the Starkiller incident? Therefore, at least to me, I feel like it’s possible that something being in 0 BSI and halfway after Starkiller is already 35 ABY in the main calendar.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 16:09, February 9, 2020 (UTC)

  • You should probably put the roughly 3.6 months part into the notes. Also, it seems we cannot use that D23 timeline.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 16:34, February 9, 2020 (UTC)
    • I suppose it cannot be used for the Mando and we need to use the date note on the Mudhorn cave page. Also, the Mission on the Colossus platform has a pretty good Resistance date for the start of the show. Granted it forgets that the ending is set during or post TFA, but that can be fixed.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 16:52, February 9, 2020 (UTC)
      • At this very moment I’m on my phone, so I can’t really fix that date note. I’d recommend explaining that to someone who has the ability to fix it right now.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 17:03, February 9, 2020 (UTC)
        • To add to the above comment, does the Rise of Skywalker dictionary date Kaz’s recuirtment?--Editoronthewiki (talk) 17:07, February 9, 2020 (UTC)
          • How do we know that date is 33 ABY?--Editoronthewiki (talk) 17:12, February 9, 2020 (UTC)
            • As stated, we can’t use that timeline. I also think this effects the dates you put on pages--Editoronthewiki (talk) 18:25, February 9, 2020 (UTC)
              • Considering we can’t use it for statutes articles, you can’t use it for articles. You’re walking the risk of getting blocked for a week or so by knowingly breaking the rules and admitting to it--Editoronthewiki (talk) 18:34, February 9, 2020 (UTC)
                • If you want to argue for it, I recommend making a senate hall post. However, I think we’ve gotten off topic from the original reason I started this conversation.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 20:57, February 9, 2020 (UTC)

Darth Vader dates[]

If I recalled, it was not outright said. I probably shouldn't be too harsh on that and accept them as 14 BBY, but the Rise of Skywalker Dictionary's 12 BBY dating makes me unsettled. However, given how long construction took, I suppose it makes sense.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 03:32, February 13, 2020 (UTC)

  • The issue I had was that issue 25 implies Vader was gone from the Empire for all of construction. However, I can mentally rationalize that for myself by saying that Palpatine was only referring to the final construction period. If you think you have some good date notes for the pages I reverted, you can be my guest and add them. Just remember to add the issues as appearances to the 14 BBY page.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 03:39, February 13, 2020 (UTC)

Date notes[]

Hello. Just to let you know Rrrn is a status article so any changes you make should typically be recommended through the talk page first. As for Kkkt, we have a nomination page for you to recommend the date note through. I have my own reasons for reverting, being that the issues the note apply to are prior to Kkkt and Rrrn's appearance. Thanks! Braha'tok enthusiast (talk) 07:50, February 13, 2020 (UTC)

How to make a senate hall thread[]

You should see a tab labeled community on the banner of the site. It is in between the navigation tab and the explore tab. Under the community tab is a category labeled forums, and that contains the link to senate hall. Once there, go to “add new topic,” but don’t press that button until you’ve given your post a title in the available space. Then you write your argument and sign your name like you would a talk page. From there, people can respond. I hope this helps--Editoronthewiki (talk) 18:38, February 13, 2020 (UTC)

Hi, after programming my bot to fix comic italicisation sitewide, please ensure you remember to format comic titles in the proper way, in accordance with this, like so. Thanks, Tommy Imperial Emblem.svg Macaroni 21:08, February 13, 2020 (UTC)

If a source like a reference book doesn't mention a character by name then you can't add it to the Sources directly. e.g. Crag and the other stormtroopers, they only need {{Imo}} since the book mentions troopers who were sent to Tatooine. Shayanomer (talk) 02:01, February 19, 2020 (UTC)

  • Was it an admin who told you? Shayanomer (talk) 05:54, February 19, 2020 (UTC)

List of planets[]

Please note that the list of planets by nature should only list objects confirmed to be planets. Many of the locations you added have not been explicitly stated to be planets in canon, so we cannot say for sure what they are. Zed42 (talk) 03:35, March 9, 2020 (UTC)

  • If an astronomical object is only referred to as a "world," this wiki does not treat it as being a planet until it is referred to as such. These ambiguous worlds could just as easily be a moon, so labeling them as planets would be speculation. Zed42 (talk) 03:41, March 9, 2020 (UTC)

Disney+ images[]

I believe that the wiki is mostly fine when you get an image off a source like YouTube. It's not ideal, but no one really cares. Granted, I should probably put the url of the video.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 17:54, March 28, 2020 (UTC)

Star Wars Adventures (2020)[]

You might want to take a look at Star Wars Adventures (2020). Something about that page tells me it was copy-pasted... SilverSunbird (talk) 03:16, April 1, 2020 (UTC)

Star Wars Adventures[]

Per the naming policy, comic book articles should only be moved to a parenthetical name if there are multiple competing titles. Since Star Wars Adventures (2020) only has issues 1–2 announced, Star Wars Adventures (2017) issues 3— should not have been moved. Also, when moving articles, please create new image categories, i.e. Category:Images from Star Wars Adventures (2017) 1. Thank you. - Cwedin(talk) 18:02, April 1, 2020 (UTC)

Hello there spoody!

Hello. When creating new categories, please make sure you put appropriate categories on them, as well. Thank you. Imperators II(Talk) 06:58, April 19, 2020 (UTC)

Star Wars Adventures 4[]

Did you forget to move Star Wars Adventures (2017) 4 back to Star Wars Adventures (2017) 4? --Nostalgia of Iran (talk) 16:38, April 19, 2020 (UTC)

  • I tried as well. No luck for me. You may want to ask an admin. --Nostalgia of Iran (talk) 16:47, April 19, 2020 (UTC)

Uploading images[]

When uploading images, three sections are mandatory to be filled out in the {{Information}} template. You must have a description, source and licensing completed. Categories are not required, but they are preferred. Several of your recent uploads have not had any description. - JMAS Jolly Trooper.png Hey, it's me! 19:04, April 19, 2020 (UTC)

Paragraph breaks[]

Hi, it would be greatly appreciated if you could break up the paragraphs in your edits. It helps with readability as users won't get bored reading one giant wall of text. Shayanomer Din Djarin's clan.svg (talk) 04:43, April 28, 2020 (UTC)

Categorization, again[]

Hello. This is to remind you (I have already told you this before) that when creating new categories, such as Category:Images of Minemoon, you have to put appropriate categories on them, as well. Please do not make others clean up after you. Thank you. Imperators II(Talk) 07:44, April 29, 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to The Mandalorian Season Two added an external link without including a backup link. If a subject is shown in a picture in the episode guide, but it provides no info (e.g. DC-17 hand blaster), then you must put {{Po}} after the guide to indicate that there is no new information on the subject from this source. Shayanomer Din Djarin's clan.svg (talk) 18:20, May 8, 2020 (UTC)

Poe comics[]

Hello! I notice you're changing the dates on some of the Poe comic events. You still need to explain how its between 32 ABY and 33 ABY since the note still reads as though it should be 32 ABY - 34 ABY, so if you include the bit about Resistance starting in 33 ABY that will sort it. Thanks! --Lewisr (talk) 01:57, May 10, 2020 (UTC)

  • One more thing, you need to explain how we know things take place between other things --Lewisr (talk) 20:26, May 10, 2020 (UTC)

The Hunt for the Child[]

I understand you have asked Lewisr for assistance, but you put the first image being added on the left side of the article in the Prelude section. However, for any images on the right side, use this format div style="float: right", but add the greater and less than symbols on their respective sides, and then add the file name—div style="float: right"File name—with your description. --Erebus Chronus (talk) 04:44, May 12, 2020 (UTC)

  • If you seek help on the format for the right sided images, go to the article Venator-class Star Destroyer, and look at the format for the second image, the one on the right in the Characteristics section. Hope this helps. --Erebus Chronus (talk) 05:17, May 12, 2020 (UTC)
    • If it does not happen to work, I can add the images for you instead, but it may have to be at a better time of day, it is after one in the morning here. --Erebus Chronus (talk) 05:23, May 12, 2020 (UTC)
  • No problem. I also thank you for expanding on these articles, I was planning to make it a project of my own after seeing that they were surprisingly devoid of information, but it would have been time consuming and I do still have other projects I'm working on currently, as you may have frequently noticed by the Venator-class Star Destroyer article and the regional articles (that's a nightmare). --Erebus Chronus (talk) 05:33, May 12, 2020 (UTC)

Canon pages[]

Hi! I'm not actually moving any pages, just marking unnecessary redirects with the /Canon suffix for deletion, since they're no longer needed. Toqgers (talk) 04:54, May 16, 2020 (UTC)

Moving comic pages[]

Hello, we probably should wait until we start getting more regular releases of comics before we start moving pages. We currently don't have any proof the series is getting to issue 13 let alone all the way to 27. Its a bit premature to move all of these pages right now, therefore we should revert the changes for now --Lewisr (talk) 01:21, May 18, 2020 (UTC)

  • I would avoid doing that for the moment, since per the policy it was only intended for canon comics at this time with a decision to be made on the Legends one at a later point --Lewisr (talk) 01:26, May 18, 2020 (UTC)
    • Haha I could tell! I'm sure the decision to move the Legends ones will come at some point --Lewisr (talk) 01:31, May 18, 2020 (UTC)
      • Hi, please just stop moving pages without providing a reason. Currently comics and disambiguations are a complicated topic. So I recommned you to stop until more its discussed--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 02:42, May 18, 2020 (UTC)
      • I will let you know, though I'm sure you will see a forum/consensus track to vote on before anything is decided. Nice to see the enthusiasm! I suspect any moving/or at least a large majority of any potential moving will be done by some of the admins bots, but we'll see what happens when that point comes and what they say about you helping out --Lewisr (talk) 03:55, May 18, 2020 (UTC)

I know this has been briefly touched on above, but I wanted to give you an official warning about this. After spending a decent amount of time cleaning up the mess you made with your most recent set of comic moves, I'm informing you that if you continue to make similar unnecessary mass page moves again, you will be blocked from editing. Comic titles are a contested issue, and most are where they need to be as agreed in CTs. You moving whole groups of pages only confuses this system and breaks redirects and disambiguations pages. Not to mention other users then have to spend their time having to pick up after you when the pages are inevitably moved back. Tommy-Macaroni 13:33, May 20, 2020 (UTC)

  • Thank you for your apology and for understanding. I appreciate you had good intentions, but you're right, in future please bring up these things before going ahead and mass moving pages. And yes, generally, if you make a mistake, be it small or large, you're expected to help sort it out the best you can. But regardless, it's done now, and I can see you've learnt from this experience which is the main thing. Tommy-Macaroni 16:01, May 20, 2020 (UTC)

Open Circle Fleet appearances[]

Hey, thank you for minimizing my work for me on adding the Open Circle Fleet link to the appearances on some articles, but for many of them, you have caused me an accidental edit conflict. Don't worry, it's fine, just please be careful when editing articles related to the topic undergoing a major edit. I hope I'm not coming off as... rude in any possible way. CIS roundel.svg Erebus Open frequency 19:10, May 22, 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for signing up to help with the inaugural Project Stardust! I had a request for The Clone Wars and Rebels updates. As you are going through the episodes for updates, would you be able to also check for information relevant to an "Equipment" section and add that information to this workbench? If you need help knowing what goes in an Equipment section, you can see the Layout Guide for help. I'll monitor the edits made to that workbench and make sure each person's contributions flows and fits together with the others and then add it to the article when it's ready. MasterCommerce Guild.svgFredcerique 21:42, May 23, 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for adding backup links. When adding backups, please add the links to the repository, and remove the links from the list of instances on the project page where necessary. Shayanomer Din Djarin's clan.svg (talk) 18:51, May 26, 2020 (UTC)

  • Also please view a template's page to see which parameters are required before adding backup links. Templates like IMDB and Penguin do not require "archivedate". Shayanomer Din Djarin's clan.svg (talk) 18:51, May 28, 2020 (UTC)

Hey, I may put in a bot request for everything in the Practical appearances box, since bot edits don't appear on Recent Changes like ours because we're kind of clogging it up. CIS roundel.svg Erebus Chronus Open frequency 17:53, June 2, 2020 (UTC)

Confederacy navy template[]

Hey, this is just a heads up that the template for Canon Confederacy navy units already exists, but coexists with all Canon Separatist military units in Template:Separatist military units. Just thought I'd let you know before you made the template for it since I saw a prototype template on your workbench for it. CIS roundel.svg Erebus Chronus Open frequency 00:43, June 3, 2020 (UTC)

  • Probably not right now because the First Order only has 35 known units and the Resistance only has 28 as of now, this excludes their army and naval branch. It's best to wait until more New Republic Era-based media is released hopefully with more units for both of them. Hope this answers your question. Cheers! CIS roundel.svg Erebus Chronus Open frequency 01:18, June 3, 2020 (UTC)
    • Sorry if what I said above was confusing heh! What I meant to say is that since the entire First Order military only has 35 known units, and the entire Resistance military only has 28 units, it wouldn't be enough to maintain a template similar to the one I made for the CIS military, so no. What I did to make the CIS template bigger was I added the Separatist holdouts because they were a part of the Separatist military, and any groups affiliated with the military, like the Umbaran Militia and Death Watch. Hope this clears up any confusion. CIS roundel.svg Erebus Chronus Open frequency 01:35, June 3, 2020 (UTC)

Sure thing. Just getting things done sooner that way adding the source link monotonously won't be as long, therefore you'd only have to add Mentioned only/Indirect mention only anything like that. CIS roundel.svg Erebus Chronus Open frequency 07:54, June 5, 2020 (UTC)

  • Hey, continuing on this discussion, could you message me when I would be able to continue adding the source link to the articles I have not yet, unless it's already been taken care of? Thanks! CIS roundel.svg Erebus Chronus Open frequency 23:09, June 5, 2020 (UTC)

Bibilography/External Links[]

I noticed you edited apparently all of The Clone Wars episode pages to change the "Bibliography" section to "External Links", located below the references. Thing is, all of those links were from official Star Wars sources, and according to Wookieepedia:Layout Guide/Out-of-universe the OOU layout guide… that qualifies as Bibliography, which is supposed to be above the references. Only stuff from IMDB, pop-culture sites and the like (basically, not an official Lucasfilm-related source) is supposed to be in External Links.

Basically, I am sorry to say, all of those particular edits appear to have been unnecessary. If you want to check the Layout Guide I linked to, the relevant info is near the bottom. SilverSunbird (talk) 04:51, June 7, 2020 (UTC)

Hi, please don't use the {{citation}} tag on page where there is only one source. Hk 47 (talk) 08:21, June 8, 2020 (UTC)

Hey, AminoRepublic! I noticed that you've been creating some image categories lately (i.e. Category:Images from Score). However, as a general rule of thumb, categories should only be created if they contain at least two pages/files. They don't really serve any purpose otherwise. - Cwedin(talk) 09:19, June 12, 2020 (UTC)

I've already asked you nicely on Discord but as you've carried on anyway: please stop changing the location of the quotes like here. Per Wookieepedia:Manual_of_Style#Formatting: "When pipelinking, always place all characters inside the link brackets. Examples: Italics: [[Subjugator (Imperial II-class)|''Subjugator'']], not ''[[Subjugator (Imperial II-class)|Subjugator]]''". Please stop, or further action will be taken. Canon moves[]

Hey Amino. I noticed you've moved a couple Canon pages to their namesake without the "/Canon". I thought of doing that myself but I saw that eksbot just got around to them a few hours back and is probably still working it. You may notice that many of those redlinks still have Legends pages linking to them (I believe that's eksbot's next batch of work) so you should hold on moving those pages until after the linking articles are all moved by bots to the Legends correspondent. Winterz (talk) 06:35, 13 December 2020 (UTC)

Ahsoka Tano(Response)[]

Since you asked nicely, I'll explain: Basically, I was trying to keep the Character page focused on the Character.

The part I straight up cut out was because I felt that it was external(not the best word to describe it, I think) to the character herself, particularly at that point. It was trying to introduce Din and tell too much of his backstory, both in general and by the fact that he hadn't actually crossed paths with Ahsoka just yet. This particular event is also covered in other pages already, chiefly the entry for the episode in general and the one for the event itself, to say nothing of the individual pages for each of the characters involved. This page, or rather this section of the page, is about chronicling the life of a single character. Putting in Din Djarin's backstory and motivations right there is like saying "But hey, let's leave the person you're here to read about and let's talk about this guy instead for a while!", especially when the time to give that information comes up literally a few paragraphs later when he actually crosses her path, then explains himself.

And the second part, where I truncate the fight between her and Din, is for much of the same reason, actually. There are entries where blow-by-blow descriptions of fights belong. If a reader really wants to know exactly how a fight went down, there are actual articles dedicated to these battles as events in and of themselves. In a character page, the reader needs to know that a battle occurred and the overall outcome, but detailed descriptions are the purview of other types of articles.

  • Did you agree with me on the Seventh Sister saying the Jedi are death hopelessly? I carefully saw the scene, did you? I mean I added that detail under personalities and traits. MaxPokemon10 (talk) 21:40, 21 February 2021 (UTC) MaxPokemon10

"Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you?"

Hidden Danger and two-part stories[]

Hi. I wanted to point out to you that this article (StarWars.com First Details of the Next Wave of Star Wars: The High Republic Stories Revealed – Exclusive on StarWars.com (backup link)) does not, in fact, state that "Starlight: Hidden Danger" is two short stories: if you look at the relevant section (second entry), you'll see that "Hidden Danger" is in quotation marks, but part I is not. I realize you think that short stories published in two parts in Star Wars Insider should have separated articles, but the formatting does not agree with you, and your move of the article page was not necessary or accurate to the released information. Just a head's up for the future, since it appears that every Star Wars: The High Republic: Starlight short story is going to be a two-parter. SilverSunbird (talk) 04:54, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Star Wars: Legion references[]

Hi! It appears that some of the references that you have made for several Star Wars: Legion articles are currently broken. As is the case with E-Web Heavy Blaster Team Unit Expansion. In addition, {{Reflist}} seems to missing from those pages as well. CT-1742 Clone Army patch.svg (talk) 02:23, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

  • Nevermind. It seems that you have spotted that mistake before I finished typing my message :P CT-1742 Clone Army patch.svg (talk) 02:26, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

Hello. Since you reverted my changes in Anchorhead, I would like to hear your reply on the matter in Talk:Anchorhead. It's established that the location was Tosche Station in multiple sources (the episode itself, most importantly, and the highlights of the episode), and it's established that Tosche Station is outside of Anchorhead in multiple reference books. Thanks.PureBeskar (talk) 08:58, 18 March 2022 (UTC)

I don't know why you reverted that edit - the most widely used definition for DLC is content that is added to the game after release that is optional. You cannot play Star Wars Squadrons without the update that added the Defender and B-Wing. If it is added after release and is mandatory, it's an update. If it's added after release and is optional, it's DLC. Either way, my edit made the information more accurate by specifying specifically what it was.~Tora (To4oo4) (talk) 18:55, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
Just so you know, I've filed an edit dispute at Forum:NB:Edit_dispute_on_TIE_Defender_And_B-Wing.~Tora (To4oo4) (talk) 22:31, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
