Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —Supreme Emperor (talk) 03:30, February 21, 2013 (UTC)

Signatures Edit

Hello -- I noticed that your signature doesn't link to your user page or give your user name. You should try to fix that, so your signature complies with Wookieepedia:Signature policy. Thanks, —Silly Dan (talk) 20:56, July 8, 2013 (UTC)

Also, please note that the policy requires that "You must include your actual user name, or an image depicting it, in your signature." Please modify your signature to comply with this rule. Thanks. —MJ— Comlink 02:20, August 7, 2013 (UTC)
Since you seem to have ignored this request, I am going to make it a formal warning. The signature policy requires that you include your actual username, which is "Pluto2", in your signature. This is not optional. Before you do anything else, you must change your signature so that it includes your actual username of "Pluto2". I will be watching to see whether this is done, and action will be taken if it is not. —MJ— Comlink 18:28, August 9, 2013 (UTC)
Dialog-error You have been blocked from editing for 1 week since you refuse to adhere to the administrative warning above. When you come back, please properly sign in talk pages. Your name is Pluto2, not Darth Nightmaricus. If you wish to be Darth Nightmaricus, you may email Wikia and request a name change. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. JangFett (Talk) 22:27, August 19, 2013 (UTC)

Canonicity of Legends novelizations Edit

Where is is said that the Legends novelizations are canon? - AV-6R7 (talk) 23:14, July 26, 2015 (UTC)

When asked on Twitter on April 30, 2014, Del Rey's Star Wars team stated that the novelizations of all seven films - meaning the six live-action and The Clone Wars - remain canon. --Pluto 2 (My Sith name is Darth Nightmaricus) 23:15, July 26, 2015 (UTC)
They said they are canon only when they align with the movies. On Wookieepedia, we treat them as Legends. - AV-6R7 (talk) 23:16, July 26, 2015 (UTC)
They do align with canon. Details such as Owen being Obi-Wan's brother remain non-canon. You cannot simply state "Oh, they are Legends" when an authority states they are canon. --Pluto 2 (My Sith name is Darth Nightmaricus) 23:17, July 26, 2015 (UTC)
  • Please see the canon policy's note about movie novelizations. They are not considered NuCanon. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 23:18, July 26, 2015 (UTC)
