*I do not wish to be a agitator, but I feel that Wookieepedia is in a horrible state. Here are some examples of how horrible it is: I made the article on the "Manaan Fern" and it got redirected to fern because "it is generic". The name can be generic but if it is a new species of plant, the plant itself cannot be generic. "Meditation Beads" was a article that was not made by me that had horrible formatting. I cleaned it up and the next day when I checked my emails, I saw that someone had redirected it to meditation while the two are different subjects. "Prototype Czerka Chipset". I must admit that I should not have included prototype in the name, but the Czerka part was alright. It got shortened to "NaviGo chipset". "27V Restricted" appeared to be a level of restriction on a file and it got redirected to "Republic Strategic Information Service" while we do not know that it was only used by them. "B1 Assault, B1 Elite Assault, B1 General, B2 General, B2 Soldier and B1 Jungle Soldier" are all clearly new types of battle droids (maybe not all, but ones like the B1 General are certainly new). They got deleted because "they are just renamed for the sake of variety". We do not really know if they are the same. "Prototype iso-5 generator" I may have slightly messed up on the naming but it is a new type of generator powered by Isotope-5. It got redirected to Isotope-5. "5P-0T" is a AT-AT toy that got redirected to "AT-AT toy" when it is obviously a individual droid. Also a policy for Star Wars: The Old Republic is not to make articles on types of gear. Weapons are excluded from this policy as long as they have names for their models. I feel that the same should apply to gear, especially droid parts. Some of the admins can be a bit too hostile when it comes to warning users, as has occasionally happened to me. Admins also overuse redirecting, cluttering up the wiki. I am not very skilled and I have caused many people a massive pain, but I am not too stupid to realize that things are going horribly. 80% of the time it is my fault that my edits get reverted and my pages deleted but just look at all these examples. I do not take images as I have no knowledge on how to correctly do so, and that is my fault for being lazy. Go and check some articles on sources and go into the appearances section. Many of them have lots of red links. "Galaxy Guide 11: Criminal Organizations" is a example of this when sometimes you can easily just look up the source in Google and sometimes, if the source is old enough, it will have a web page displaying the source. Also things like Google play help a lot. I may get a severe warning for this, or a temporary block but I do not care as unless someone listens I am not inclined to continue in a place were I am of no use, and am not wanted. I was looking at subjects that people overlook but if no body reads this and responds, taking note that this is a point of view of at least one person, then I shall not continue editing. Many things may lay with missing information and red links if I leave, honestly. I know that not every admin is so hostile, but many that are need to look back on how their victims feel. Note that in this, I do suggest changing one or two rules but a lot of the rest is just telling admins what they do wrong. I honestly do have the power to evade a block by changing my IP with a addon for your internet browser, which I will not name, but I will not use it against Wookieepedia for I have a life. I do not blame anyone who thinks that I am a idiot or a moron, but I would blame someone for overreacting to this. People put work into the articles on this wiki without expecting any reward in return, but some worsen the current situation more than they help it. I think i have rambled on for long enough, but this my view of Wookieepedia. I will probably repost this on my profile page to raise awareness.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 10:49, September 23, 2014 (UTC)

Welcome, RazulAntiwield!

Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

General help

Site policies

Contribution help

Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! ——Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 02:12, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

Sources and Appearances formatting

Please do not alter the formatting of the sources and appearances. The templates and links are correct the way they are. Thanks. Trak Nar Ramble on 07:16, September 19, 2012 (UTC)

  • Please stop altering the novel formatting. Thanks. Also, you are getting very close to violating our Three-revert rule. Trak Nar Ramble on 07:21, September 19, 2012 (UTC)

Talk pages

Hey there. Please don't remove content from talk pages, even your own. They need to be preserved as a public record. Let me know if you have any questions about anything around here; I know that policy can be confusing when you're new. Cheers! Menkooroo (talk) 11:54, September 20, 2012 (UTC)

  • Please heed the above advice. Talk page messages are a matter of public record and thus need to be preserved. If you wish to hide messages, you may make an archive, such as User talk:RazulAntiwield/Archive, but that archive will need to be visibly linked on your talk page. Thanks. Trak Nar Ramble on 06:41, September 22, 2012 (UTC)

Third warning

As you have been told twice previously, it is Wookieepedia policy to retain talk page messages on either your talk page or on a separate subpage. Trak Nar has already explained one possible way to archive your messages if you so wish. If you need further help in archiving your messages, you are welcome to ask any user on the site. However, seeing as this is the third time you've attempted to remove messages without archiving them, this is your final warning—you will receive a block for any future violations of this policy. Thank you for your cooperation. CC7567 (talk) 10:52, January 8, 2014 (UTC)

Uploading images

While all good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated, we ask that you please refer to Wookieepedia:Images, which can be found under the "other policies and guidelines" link in your welcome message, and familiarize yourself with the sourcing and licensing requirements before uploading any more images. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. Wikia's non-standard upload forms are not supported under Wookieepedia policy, and ignorance of the uploading rules is not an acceptable excuse. Continued violation of the image policy or falsification of any information in an upload description are considered vandalism and will likely result in a block. Thank you. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 14:11, May 23, 2014 (UTC)

Infobox fields

Please stop adding extra affiliations to infobox fields. Not every sub- or super-affiliation has to be mentioned, and you're frequently screwing up formatting or editing status articles without the author's permission. Thank you. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 14:46, May 31, 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, i shall stop editing affiliation when the article is, as i see it large enough. I have not enough skill or time to make major edits unfortunately. --RazulAntiwield (talk) 07:12, June 4, 2014 (UTC)

Warning

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 03:53, June 19, 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, but what unverified information did I add?--RazulAntiwield (talk) 04:08, June 19, 2014 (UTC)

  • This and this. All information added to status articles must be properly sourced. Continued failure to do so will result in you being blocked from editing. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 05:00, June 19, 2014 (UTC)

Ok then, i do not remember not sourcing it but i do not deny it. I shall take extra care.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 08:04, June 19, 2014 (UTC)

Project Carrick Station

I have started a project to make a article on every single character of note such as vendors, e.g. onboard Carrick Station.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 06:00, June 21, 2014 (UTC)

Editing

Before continuing to create new articles you should check the changes I've made to your recent creations, as well as the Manual of Style and Layout Guide. Many of them have contained mistakes and improper formatting. Also, when generating an infobox, use the interface on the right as many of your infoboxes have been outdated. Trip391 (talk) 07:20, June 21, 2014 (UTC)

  • Again, make sure you are following the Manual of Style and Layout Guide. Appearances are always italicized, Human is always capitalized, categories should be in alphabetical order, and just because someone may have been found in-game on a planet, they were not necessarily born there. That is speculation, and can actually be considered fanon; only if a source states that they were born there should it be listed. Trip391 (talk) 10:32, June 30, 2014 (UTC)

I find it difficult to follow the manuals and guides, but i shall remember the things you have listed. Thank you.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 10:39, June 30, 2014 (UTC)

  • Also, make sure all species names are capitalized. Trip391 (talk) 08:49, July 6, 2014 (UTC)

I thought that was only with Humans? But ok.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 09:05, July 6, 2014 (UTC)

TOR

Do you have access to TOR? If not, you shouldn't be creating articles on TOR characters. Regardless, please slow down and take a closer look at the articles you're making; you're leaving off Image tags, adding random spacing, and flat-out copy-pasting without changing anything. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 12:33, July 11, 2014 (UTC)

  • I do have access to TOR and i copy and paste to make the work faster, as most of time there is not much to change. Sometimes i miss out changing some things and my poor memory forgets to grab images. Sorry for all difficulties.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 03:07, July 12, 2014 (UTC)

Stop

Razul, please actually read the template pages and look at other uses of templates when applying them. Every attempt you've made so far to add the TORweb so far has been incorrect. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 02:53, August 16, 2014 (UTC)

Ok......--RazulAntiwield (talk) 02:59, August 16, 2014 (UTC)

Ohhhhhhhh thank you for making that clear--103.4.16.95 03:13, August 16, 2014 (UTC)

  • Seriously, Razul. You're making the most basic mistakes that are incredibly easy to fix. Continuing to do so will almost certainly result in administrative action. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 03:47, August 23, 2014 (UTC)
    • This is still not getting better Razul. The Galactic War was between the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire? When was the Galactic Empire formed again? And here, you linked to something that was literally linked to in the previous sentence, and removed the period. Additionally, many of your articles are still having grammatical and formatting errors which you have been told about numerous times. Before continuing to edit, I will again suggest you take a look at the Wookieepedia:Manual of Style and Wookieepedia:Layout Guide, check any of the corrections other users have had to make to articles you have created, as well as any of the other thousands of articles to see how you should be editing. Trip391 (talk) 11:18, September 2, 2014 (UTC)

  • Once again. Stop. You're quite obviously going the SWTOR site making articles on whatever you find, and the quality of said articles is so atrocious that you're either too lazy to fix the mistakes or you're just refusing to do so. Half of the articles you made yesterday are completely unnotable or don't even need articles, and all of them have terrible formatting and content issues, like the fact that you didn't bother to change the TORweb links on half of the articles. Your capitalization, grammar, and word choice is simply atrocious, and it cannot continue. Continuing to make edits of this quality will almost certainly result in administrative action. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 14:23, September 2, 2014 (UTC)
  • How about I just make minor articles that do not require any work at all, for example JM-28 assault cannon? I was never good at English or grammar so that is once reason why my article quality is not very good. I seem to have gotten the hang of not messing up minor articles except when it comes to naming. Looking at the edits you have made to my articles concerning names I might have gotten it, but i do not understand why things like JA-3 Subversive Speeder need to be renamed to JA-3 Speeder. If I continue messing up with minor articles I might as well leave because I do not have enough skill. If I do leave I will continue reading Wookiepedia. I honestly do not understand why I have been making articles about things like Unidentified Female (Undocumented Flights) but I have been tired lately. Also Trip, about that thing were I messed up with saying that the Galactic War was between the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire, I honestly do not even know what I did. About that period and linking, I was tired and went to bed not too long after you reverted my mistake. I also did look at the layout guide and the manual of style and looked at everything that applied to me. For the millionth time, sorry.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 05:11, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
    • The TOR web pages do contain a lot of useful information so I will continue making articles on them but not any big ones like Unidentified recruit (Jonas Balkar). I would be grateful if someone would also edit TOR web or take over my work on it. http://www.swtor.com/info/news/blog/20140904 is a new article on TOR web that I feel is too big for me to edit.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 05:24, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
      • The articles that I will continue to make are things like Dyshotto or Lucky-77 Swoop.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 05:27, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
        • Whoever banned me seriously overreacted.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 06:54, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
          • Did someone unban me or what? I can now edit.--RazulAntiwield (talk) 06:56, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
            • I'm not sure what happened, but your block log is empty, meaning that you have never been blocked directly. Most likely you were caught in an unrelated IP address hardblock when your IP address changed (which most do on occasion). Unfortnuately, this happens on occasion and there's not much we can do to prevent it. If you get caught in an unrelated IP block again, pop onto IRC and talk to one of the admins present; they'll usually be willing to drop the block once they're aware that a good-faith editor is caught in it. —MJ— Holocomm 00:19, September 8, 2014 (UTC)
              • K... that mean I can allow myself to edit again?
                • You were never prohibited from editing in the first place, so of course you can continue editing. :) —MJ— Comlink 19:52, September 8, 2014 (UTC)
  • And now you're doing the exact same thing with Clone Wars Adventures. Clothing from MMOs do not need articles, and only certain weapons and items need articles. Neither do any of the generic battle droid variants that are differently named for the sake of variety. So please, stop with them. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 14:11, September 13, 2014 (UTC)

Re:Zinc

Nah, zinc is a metal that's also used in food. It's called a vitamin. There's no reason to have two separate articles on one topic. Trip391 (talk) 10:39, September 8, 2014 (UTC)

The state of Wookieepedia

  • I do not wish to be a agitator, but I feel that Wookieepedia is in a horrible state. Here are some examples of how horrible it is: I made the article on the "Manaan Fern" and it got redirected to fern because "it is generic".
