Hi there. Welcome to the Wookieepedia! A couple of pointers though: Please use Categories and sources, if appropriate, in your articles. Might be a good idea to check the Manual of Style and Community Portal, too. --beeurd 01:09, 19 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Is there a reason you're uploading so many images for an article that was already deleted once? You do know that after going through all this, that article and all the images are just going to get deleted again, right? Kuralyov 04:49, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)

making it an out of universe article with an in universe story( with a fan assumption tag) -razzy1319

  • This is not the place for such an article. QuentinGeorge 06:01, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)

NJO images[edit source]

Good job on uploading those images from the New Jedi Order Sourcebook. I was wondering why no had done that yet. However, on the image for capture beasts, you uploaded a picture of firebreather. If you have Ultimate Adversaries, they have a picture of a capture beast. -- SFH 01:40, 31 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Thanks, I look into it now -- razzy1319

Pictures[edit source]

  • Please don't create articles that just consist of an image. Put at least stubby text in as well. QuentinGeorge 06:58, 31 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • Sorry... Havent been in the mood to write since I finished that Kreia article. Just trying to motivate people into creating the articles by getting the pictures there first. Could I just uploaded them then create an article called "gallery of useful pictures for future articles"razzy1319
  • I'd like to echo Quentin's sentiment; please at least write a sentence or two about your article subjects, and also put images as thumbs. MarcK 05:48, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)
  • Yes, allow me to third it. Kuralyov 06:02, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Images[edit source]

First, please don't replace existing images (like Dantoo.jpg and Dantooine.jpg) with completely different ones, although it's fine to add more. Second, please remove the blackness around them. Third, please provide sources for new images and tag them with one of the copyright templates. - Sikon [Talk] 18:21, 31 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • I reuploaded older revisions under different names, but please don't overwrite them again. - Sikon [Talk] 18:31, 31 Oct 2005 (UTC)
    • It is strange that the wiki doesn't warn you that the image exists, it should. Anyway, when uploading images whose names are not supposed to be unique, it's best to check whether it exists by typing File:Filename.ext in the "search Wikicities" box. Also, just tagging the image with {{fairuse}} is not enough, you should provide the source as well. Also, once again: please remove the blackness. (By the way, the descriptions under the images should not look Like This, but rather Like this.) - Sikon [Talk] 04:55, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)
      • Older versions can be recovered. Take, for example, File:Dantooine.jpg. You will see the list of revisions at the bottom of the page. Click on a revision date to see an older image. And I once again sincerely ask you to provide sources; I see you have just uploaded a bunch of images with no source provided. - Sikon [Talk] 15:26, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Useless images[edit source]

  • Why are you uploading several images and not doing anything with them? --MarcK [talk] 19:50, 14 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Cause i'm not finished uploading all of them. And it takes sometime to load one image on my comp. Razzy1319 19:52, 14 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • I just hope you'll do something with them. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:04, 15 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Ifds[edit source]

May I ask why you are placing all these images under a speedy deletion? -- Riffsyphon1024 08:33, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)

  • Arent they duplicates? --Razzy1319 08:34, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)
    • Show me the duplicates. -- Riffsyphon1024 08:35, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)
      • How?
        • Can't you prove that other images exist to replace these? -- Riffsyphon1024 08:37, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)
          • I look at what the images are and search for the article they might be on, then if it has a duplicate on that article I tag it for deletion. Where and how should I prove it though? --Razzy1319 08:39, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)
            • First off, were these listed on Images for deletion? Secondly, are the pictures identical to other ones with different filenames THAT exist in that article already? -- Riffsyphon1024 08:41, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)
              • yup, well except for the death star screen shot. I'm going through the unused images list and searching for their duplicates... check it for yourself. Admins approve the deletions before they are deleted, right? --Razzy1319 08:44, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)
  • Well "approval" is sorta unofficial here. If we deem it a dup, then we simply delete it. But proof must be made. -- Riffsyphon1024 08:47, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)
    • Another thing. If an image is not a dup and can be used, it shouldn't be speedy deleted. -- Riffsyphon1024 08:49, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)
      • okay. But the vfd doesnt automatically list the tagged pictures only spds do that. --Razzy1319 08:51, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Darca Nyl[edit source]

I noticed you placed the clean-up tag on this article I started. I was wondering how do you think the article should be improved? It was the first article I wrote, and I think it's maybe a bit too long and detailed. (It's not finished yet, either. I was discouraged from continuing when I realized how bad it was that far.) I noticed you created articles on Ament and Royce (nice job, by the way) so I can assume you've read Nomad. What exactly was Lycan; a Dark Jedi or a Sith? The story is set six months after the Battle of Naboo so I guess the Rule of Two is still a use, thus making it impossible for him to be a Sith, but I'm not sure.

  • Oh, forgot to ask. Do you intend to write articles on Jaren, Samuel and Leddar? --Juha 10:05, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
    • Thanks for getting back to me on that. I came across the articles you wrote on Ensa and Byrom, nice job. I really like your style of writing. It's short and concise and I'll strive towards that too. I noticed you referred to the native people of Molavar as Molavarians in the Byrom article and I was wondering if that's correct. In Nomad Darca Nyl says "No, you've killed too many people, Neas, those Molovar." and that's the only reference to the indigenous people of Molavar that I can find in the story. There was an article called Malavaran before (the planet of Molavar was misspelled as Malavar earlier, so I guess the misspelling was derived from that) and I changed it to Molavaran. Do you think it should be Molavarian instead of Molavaran or maybe Molovar? I'm really confused. --Juha 19:04, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
  • Hey thanks, go ahead and add pics where you see fit. Haven't had access to a scanner, so I haven't uploaded any pictures. What pics were you planning on adding?Cull Tremayne 16:55, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Images[edit source]

I see a lot of other headlines here have to do with images. Thanks for making the "gallery-formed images" on the Royal Naboo Security Forces article. but let me ask, you how did you set up the pictures like that and is there a way one can enlarge the pictures slightly or fit them to good sizes? Comic word bubbles[edit source]

I feel bad coming here with a complaint/request because so many others have too but please stop removing the text from comics you hace scanned (or downloaded). It's not necessary to remove the text. If you somehow got a hold of the image with the text already gone then don't worry about it. I've seen this happening here and there around Wookieepedia and a quick scan of your image uploads shows that you have uploaded some files with the text removed. I'm not blaming you for all of it. Thanks!--DannyBoy7783 02:33, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Fandalorian Page[edit source]

  • Razzy, I know you probably meant well, but removing the entire "criticism" section is not solving the POV problem on the page, no more than removing anything negative on say, the wikipedia article of George Bush would make that page neutral. If you feel the article is imbalanced, then add another section with Fandalorian counter arguments. QuentinGeorge 05:40, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
    • Thanks for your response. The page's existence itself is not NPOV, but some of the content may still be. I've added a "Rebuttal" section, which, if you can think of anything else, feel free to add to. QuentinGeorge 05:58, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

Blanking[edit source]

Any more blanking or deletion of information will get you banned. Kuralyov 21:41, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

  • You deleted information on the strength of droids versus clones, the number of the CIS droids in relation to Republic forces, the number of clones available to be deployed to the front, and the effectiveness of non-clones, all of which were directly in question. Lying to me, a little attached to the issue, hmm? Kuralyov 21:48, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
    • You will be banned next time you do this. Kuralyov 15:10, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

    • After his vandalism, any sort of unblocking is now out of the question. Kuralyov 00:02, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Friendly Tip[edit source]

  • Razzy1319, I'm here to give you some friendly advice: Even if you are convinced you are right about a particular issue, and it doesn't matter how the other party(s) treat you, it is always best to respond a little more diplomatically. Saying sorry after you insult someone (not that you have necessarily) does not help, the harm has already been done. I seem to recall seeing a reference to all Accs being crewed by clones when I read Triple Zero, but I do not have the exact quote. Also, it's not a good idea to accuse people, especially Nebulax, of adding fanon to the article. Nebulax has been here a long time and has done a lot of good things. Also, in case you did not know, we have a no-fanon policy at Wookieepedia when it comes to actual articles. What you do with your own userspace is not as restricted, but no fanon that even might be considered close to significant can be stated. Some things, like it is believed that Plo Koon used Form V, can be stated in Behind the Scenes sections. Oh, please don't get offended, because I'm trying to help you. Happy editing. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 03:08, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Well, you may have a point, but my point is and has been that you can get your point across in a nicer manner. I borrowed Triple Zero when it first came out, so I don't have it right now. Rather than insult Kuralyov, you could just report him to another sysop. Remember to assume "good faith" with your fellow Wookieepedians. Cheers. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 14:31, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Here's another tip: another edit in the GAR article and you'll be banned again. Kuralyov 04:44, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Copyright stuff -- thanks[edit source]

Hey Razzy: you'll note that I've moved a bunch of the temp pages you made to replace copyvio articles to the main pages, and deleted the redirects left behind on the temp pages. If you want to keep at it, and you find articles where the edit history consists of nothing but an initial copyvio article, followed by another user slapping the copyvio template on, I'd suggest just removing the copyvio template and editing the main page. It makes things go faster. I personally think temp pages should only be needed in cases where a long article is necessary, but the current version is a copyvio: but that's just my opinion. (I might suggest simplifying the procedure on the CT this weekend.) Thanks again for helping out with this! —Silly Dan (talk) 01:26, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Luke Skywalker + Galactic Battlegrounds[edit source]

  • Look, I'm not trying to keep correcting you, but the storyline of Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds is in the Luke Skywalker page already. How do I know? I put it there. I covered Luke's involvement in the end of the Rebel campaign on Hanoon, in the end of the Wookiee campaign when he shows up at Avatar Orbital Platform, and his appearance in Clone Campaigns in the Republic bonus mission on Coruscant. He doesn't appear in the Gungan, Trade Federation, or Imperial campaigns, or Confederacy. It's been covered. Read the article. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 04:14, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Luke never met Echuu, he died in combat with Vader before Luke was a Jedi. Luke or Leia might have been warned by the spirit of Echuu. Let me look and I'll get back to you. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 04:21, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Um I'm not copying them as is. Its the only source about the starships other than physical descriptions. How else would you parse that information? Razzy1319 (talk) 19:55, January 9, 2014 (UTC)

  • Apologies, I confused it with a different ship. However, Wookieepedia articles are written in past tense, not present; please keep this in mind. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit.svg Calrayn 20:27, January 9, 2014 (UTC)
    • Please slow down and take a closer look at your work; you are adding in random blank lines and completely false categories. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit.svg Calrayn 21:05, January 9, 2014 (UTC)

    • There's no need to add "Star Wars: The Old Republic" to the appearances of characters who appeared in ROTHC; they don't appear in the core game. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit.svg Calrayn 16:51, January 12, 2014 (UTC)
