Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Please do not remove talk page and forum comments, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask one of our administrators. May the Force be with you!

Talk pages Edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wookieepedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Wikisigbutton located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --Xd 17:42, March 15, 2010 (UTC)

  • This rule also applies to forums. Please sign all your comments; it isn't that hard to do, and it is much easier to see who has posted the comment. Your co-operation is appreciated. --Xd 17:56, March 15, 2010 (UTC)

Warning Edit

User warning: Fanon.

Please do not add your own fan-fiction to Wookieepedia articles.

If you continue to add fanon to the site, you will be banned.

Your input might be more welcome at the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.

Article writing Edit

Hey there. While I understand that you are a new editor at Wookieepedia, I would strongly suggest that you familiarize yourself with our policies on article writing, especially the Manual of Style and Layout Guide, before writing any more articles. You can find other helpful links at the top of this page, under the "Contribution help" section. Also, as an example, please look at the corrections I made to the spectrum article to get a sense of how our articles are formatted. Thanks. Cylka-talk- 16:29, March 16, 2010 (UTC)

  • Allow me to reinforce this message, since you seem unwilling or incapable of heeding its message. Before you continue to create more articles, please take some time to learn Wookieepedia's formatting policies in the links provided for you already. If you continue to fail to observe these basic requirements of Wookieeepdia articles, punitive action may be taken. Thank you for your cooperation. Toprawa and Ralltiir 16:30, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

Talk pages Edit

Before posting talk page comments, please familiarize yourself with the disclaimer at the top of talk pages, {{Talkheader}}. Talk pages are for discussion relating to changes to the article, not for a discussion about the topic in question. Wookieepedia should be used primarily as a source of knowledge, not as a forum. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 18:37, March 16, 2010 (UTC)

Heat packs Edit

Is heat packs or whatever its name is your own fanon? What is your source for this? Are you assuming the snowtroopers used them? Because I don't recall anyone using or mentioning heat packs in The Empire Strikes Back. Please provide a valid source and/or appearance, or the article will be deleted. Be aware that adding fanon to Wookieepedia can be a blockable offense. Thank you. --Xd 18:50, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

Sources Edit

Eh, you wouldn't happen to have a source for Helmet pipestraw?—BobaFett1 Bounties collected Jaster's Feather 18:51, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

Blocked Edit

Dialog-error You have been blocked from editing for 1 week for continuing to neglect the guidelines of proper article formatting, which is considered official policy on Wookieepedia. You were asked more than once to pay attention to these requirements, and have instead chose to completely ignore all requests and notices. You now have a specially designated week set aside for you to read and learn the Manual of Style and Layout Guide. If you choose to return to editing, I expect to see you following these policies. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:56, March 17, 2010 (UTC)
