Removing content Edit

Please do not remove content from Wookieepedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:19, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

  • The reason I issued this warning is because you blanked this page, which isn't kosher on Wookieepedia. If you want to practice creating or editing the Operatives article, you're welcome to, but it's probably best for you to do so in the Jundland Wastes (already linked for you) or you may create a personal subpage for yourself, where you may make practice edits without the need for them to be perfect. • Sorry for the trouble I caused. I did cut and paste the information I put in The Shield (organization) into The Shield which is a article previously made by someone else. I created The Shield article by mistake following a redlink. Even if I suck at writing, I feel the need to provide more information to wookieepedia! Thank you for helping me to get better. Quick QuestionEdit

Hey, just wanted to ask you something about your article Reginna Bel Typolla. You say that "All she knew was that, when she could, she made copies of manifests, registries, or other incoming ship data to leave an apperently "damaged" datapad disk in the trash." Do you mean that she was to make copies, and, pretending that the datapad that held the copies was damaged, throw it away to be picked up by Rebels? Thanks, I just wanted to be sure that was what you meant, since the edit I made to the article points in that direction. Duchess Jade 02:00, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

  • Yes, it is exactly as you think it is. The thing is, that she wasn't really aware that the info were to be pick up by a rebel agent to directly aid the rebel cause. She was making fake broken datapads for someone she didn't know the identity who was sending her credit in return. Hope I made it clear! English isn't my native tongue eh! Spryquasar 03:31, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
  • Don't worry, that was perfectly clear!! Now I'm just curious [and I totally get it if you would prefer not to say], but where are you from? Again, thanks! Duchess Jade 03:47, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
  • I'm from Québec a french speaking province of Canada, if you'd hear me talk I'd have a twi'lek accent lol. Spryquasar 03:57, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
  • Oh that's cool...nice talking to you anyway. Happy editing!!! Duchess Jade 15:50, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

80,000Edit

I do believe one of your articles, possibly Bynarria system, was the 80,000th article on Wookieepedia. Just wanted to let you know. :) -- Riffsyphon1024 05:23, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

  • Yes it is, thank you! My wish is to see Wookieepedia grow! Spryquasar 13:09, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
    • Hey, you were the guy? Congrats!! I was surprised they didn't announce it on the main page, like they did with 70,000... oh well :P BonslywizardTrade Federation(Send a transmission) 01:05, October 4, 2010 (UTC)
      • Thanks! I guess I'll have to make the 90,000th article to appear on the main page then!! =) Spryquasar 01:10, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

Hyperspeed math. Edit

Greetings. Just wanted to explain the math that I corrected, which you then reverted. The Millenium Falcon is stated to be able to make 0.5 *past* hyperspeed, which means hyperspeed (1.0) *plus* 0.5, which is another way of saying 1.5 times hyperspeed, or 150% *of* hyperspeed, or 50% *faster than* hyperspeed. These are all equal.

If it had a hyperspeed rating of 0.5, then that would mean *half* of hyperspeed, which is obviously not correct. I hope I was able to explain this adequately. If not, then please ask another person to verify my math. Trust me, it's correct. In the meantime, I will revert back to my edits. Turambar007 02:36, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

P.S. If the Kessel Run is normally 18 parsecs, and the Falcon can do it in 12, then that further proves my math, as 12 x 1.5 = 18. Instead of simply reverting back to my edits, I edited it to try and make the concept easier to understand. Turambar007 02:43, October 4, 2010 (UTC)
  • Yep I made the edit in a haste and made a mistake in the summary and put the falcon at hyperspeed at 0.5 while it should have been hyperdrive at 0.5. You have indeed a good point, but based on your calculation, the only way to get 2.0 times hyperspeed would be an hyperdrive class rated a 0.0 to be able to make 1.0 *past* hyperspeed, but hyperdrive class was based on an asymptotic scale with Class 0.0 being infinite speed (the superluminal speed of a hyperdrive was rated on a decreasing scale; the faster the hyperdrive, the lower the rating). But there's no solid source (known to me) to know how it is really working, we might be both incorrect! Spryquasar 14:07, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

Casus Belli Edit

You have the Star Wars issues of Casus Belli? That's awesome! We're really starved for information on those! Flame Deity 08:13, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
