Could you by any chance upload the symbol used by the Yuuzhan Vong in the New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology? I would greatly appreciate being able to have that image for the Yuuzhan Vong Empire article. -- SFH 19:56, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Thank you for uploading that. -- SFH 23:06, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
  • Not a problem. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with -- Volemlock

Astro droidsEdit

Hi. I'm the guy who made all those astro droid articles kwenn doesn't like. I noticed you've been filling in infoboxes for them. I can do that too, but I reek at filling them in. So, how about a little teamwork. I can go to astro droid articles and put the box in. Then you can fill it in. Deal? Rod

Editing images in real lifeEdit

Hey, how do you cut of part of an image in the image editor thing (image editor on your computer, not on Wookieepedia)? Breathesgelatin found a website that scans comic books. However, mutiple panels count as one picture, and I want to cut off the extra panels. I can erase the panels entirely with the eraser and stuff, but then the picture shows the panel with just empty whiteness around it. Do you know how I can completly get rid of the white spots to make just the panel itself? -- Cato Neimoidia 19:56, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Hi there, I use a "crop" tool in a photo editing package to edit the scans so that there is only one panel. If you dont have these facilities I would be happy to give you a hand if you let me know where the images you want are and what you want doing with them. If I have not answered you question correctly or I can help you in any other way please let me know. Thanks -- Volemlock
    • Thanks. That helps a lot. -- Cato Neimoidia 23:10, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Screenshots Edit

Hi, Volemlock. I recently uploaded a new screenshot of King Gorneesh that I took from the Ewoks DVD. I wanted a full-body shot for the infobox. The other image on the page is from you; it's a picture of Gorneesh seated and pointing. Your screenshot is much clearer than mine, though, so I thought I'd ask you for a few tips. Is the blurriness in my photo a result of the source material (DVD) being low-quality? Is it perhaps due to my monitor being set at a non-optimal resolution for taking screenshots? My Gorneesh image isn't horrible by any means, but it is not as crisp as the one you uploaded. Any tips? I am using a Macintosh PowerBook and using the standard screenshot command to take pictures. Thanks! — SavageBob 19:00, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Hi, Unfortunately the Ewok related Images I uploaded were ones that I found on the web. I would love to help but I really dont think that I can offer any answers. I copied your image into a photo editing package and tried to adjust the contrast and sharpen the image but it didn't really improve the situation. Sorry I cant be of much help the Ewok DVD is one of the few resources that I dont have. Nice work on the Ewok related articles by the way they have been neglected in the past! I have enjoyed looking through the obscure character articles. I was surprised to see that the Jinda's were Ewoks, they dont look much like Ewoks? Is it the Star Wars: Galaxies source that confirms them as Ewoks? Thanks — volemlock, 11 May 2006

Adventure JournalEdit

I've noticed that you've uploaded a couple of pictures from the SW Adventure Journal 5 (SWAJ 5). Thank you very much for that. I assume you own a copy of SWAJ 5 and have access to a scanner, so would it be possible for you to upload images for the following articles, based on material in the same issue, whenever you have the time?

It would be greatly appreciated. But it's okay if you don't have the time to upload the images. Thanks. KEJ 09:57, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Hi, I have uploaded the images that you requested (see links above). I have also uploaded 2 images from Stock Ships if they are of any use to you. Is it ok if I let you place them. Please let me know if there are any other images that you need. volemlock, 27 May 2006
    • Thanks! That's great. I'll let you know if more images are needed. :-) KEJ 10:51, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Questions about Uploading FilesEdit

I'm trying to upload a fue Images for the Gallery of New Essential(sp?) Guide to Charictres Images but I don't know how to get them in to that Gallery. Allso I don't know what the Box that says Destination filename is for. oh and when I have an Image like that from something like the NEGTC What do I save it as? What Catagorie?

Star Wars Fact Files QuestionEdit

Hellow again, I'm the one who helpd you with that quote problem. I was looking over the Gamorrean gallery and saw you were wondering about an Ortugg pic. It's the one with him with the ax, not the old one were he looked like he was about to barf. I got that pic. off the internet when I looked up "Ortugg". I hope you like it better. I also have made a page nobody else conceived , surprisingly, it's called Gamorrean guard. Enjoy, and thanks. --Jabbathehuttgartogg

  • I just didn't know if it was actually Ortugg or just a generic Gamorrean Guard? If you know that it is Ortugg thats fine with me. -- Volemlock 11:40, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm finding some quotes to add. I already added two and I'm searching some more. Hope I'm help. --Jabbathehuttgartogg

  • Thanks for you help -- Volemlock 11:40, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

I just wanted to say that you have done a fantastic job with the Gamorreans. After reading that article, and also looking at the gallery, I have to say that I see Gamorreans differently. They appear in a lot of places, once you start to look for them. Keep up the awesome work. --Eyrezer 10:42, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it -- Volemlock 11:40, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Red links Edit

  • Well, Well, Well, would you look at this, you took my idea. You did an Alsome (if not Spectacular} job with the red links feasco. I was just about to clear some up. This should make the grade completly. I don't know what else to do, quite frankly. I may add a pic. of Jubnuk getting eaten. then find some more of those rare quotes. Unfortunatly I can only find them in Star Wars info. books, I'm already staked on top of comics galore. None have been help. How long did it take you to do all of the red links? thanks, --Jabbathehuttgartogg 13 August 2006 (UTC)

You found a tripod pic! That is so awesome! Thx SO MUCH! Did that mag have a pic of the Affytechans too?JustinGann 18:38, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

  • No unfortunately the is no image of the Affytechans. Are there any other sources? -- Volemlock 18:05, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

Gamorrean Guards in Bounty Hunter Edit

1.)I play bounty hunter a lot and I was wondering about the Gamorreans. You encounter roughly, about 6 or 9 of them, then they dissappear 'till Gardulla's Palace. I will add this to both Gamorrean and Gamorrean guard, but are they Meeko 's henchmen or something else? they have no place in the level. You don't see them at the other levels in the Chapter. Do you have the game? I should have asked that at the beginning of this segment. --Jabbathehuttgartogg 05:28, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

  • No I am afraid I have not played that game. -- Volemlock 08:34, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
    • Well, youcan only find it anymore at Gamestop or ebay. Play it sometime. Thanks though. --Jabbathehuttgartogg 09:00, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Rogua or WarlugEdit

Who is that getting killed by Luke with the lightsaber. I know it's either Rogua or Warlug, 'cause there the only ones who are posted on the deck of the Sailbarge. the Gamorrean has a gun. I got it myself. It looks cool. --Jabbathehuttgartogg Jabba'sDesilijicClanTattoo-SWFF Jabba'sDesilijicClanTattoo-SWFF 14:01, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

    • wait a minute, It's warlug. i remember putting that down on his page. Well, do you still like the Pic.? --Jabbathehuttgartogg Jabba'sDesilijicClanTattoo-SWFF Jabba'sDesilijicClanTattoo-SWFF 14:04, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Apologies, if needed Edit

  • Volemlock, I placed the UserNominated template I made on your user page. If you would have preferred I not do that or consult you first, I am sorry. In the future, I'll ask a user's permission before placing it. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 00:57, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
    • No problem thats fine. Thanks -- Volemlock 16:19, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Orn Free Taa Edit

You forgot him on the Twi'lek gallery page. I added him, bud. --Jabbathehuttgartogg Jabba'sDesilijicClanTattoo-SWFF Jabba'sDesilijicClanTattoo-SWFF 21:44, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks Edit

Thanks for uploading pictures of the creatures in Creatures of the Galaxy. I have a copy of the book, but my scanner is broken, so I just put the image template on the pages. I didn't think someone would respond so soon. Nice job.--Lord OblivionComlinkSith Emblem 00:58, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey, do you have the profle pic of Vialco from Uhl Eharl Khoehng scanned? Cull Tremayne 04:53, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Is this the image that you wanted. Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with -- Volemlock 18:28, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Hard to mooch off you again (ok not really :D), but is there a picture of Mox Slosin in Alliance Intelligence Reports? Cull Tremayne 22:39, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Here is the image of Mox Slosin. I added the image to the article and I also added his homeworld of Entuur to the infobox. Please let me know if there are any other images that you need. -- Volemlock 18:30, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
    • Can you get any cooler? Thanks again. Cull Tremayne 21:43, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

You're scans from The New Essential Guide to Alien Species are fabulous. Are you planning to scan and upload the rest of the planets? Your scans are much higher res and quality than the rest in the gallery. - JMAS 06:21, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

  • I can continue uploading them. I will try and do a few each day. Thanks for your support. -- Volemlock 17:56, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
    • That's great! Many thanks. - JMAS 19:01, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
      • Was wondering if you were still planning to continue uploading the remaining planet images from the NEGAS book. I've tried, and I just can't get them looking as good as your scans. - JMAS 13:46, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
        • I will try and upload some more today. -- Volemlock 13:51, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi, if its not to much trouble, could you get me an image of Tibor from Zorba the Hutt's Revenge? I would appreciate anything you can get. DarthAmazing 01:29, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Is this image ok?. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with -- Volemlock 07:57, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Yeah! Thanks

NEGAS images Edit

Please upload your images to the previous images that were in place. There's no reason to create two separate files when you can overwrite the previous one. Besides, it's causing all the older images to become useless files no one will use.--Ranat 23 20:40, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Hey there Volemlock. Was wondering if you were able to keep uploading the better scans of the planets from NEGAS. Namely, the ones I'm looking for are: Ord Mynock, Yag'dhul, Yuuzhan'tar, Zolan, Castell, Selonia, Sembla, Skako, Skustell, Thyferra, Umbara and Zeltros. Would also love Vulpter but that one looks like it would be difficult. I know I'm being a pain, but your scans are great. Thanks. - JMAS 18:17, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
    • The new scans are great! Thanks. Keep up the good work. - JMAS 23:31, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
  • Any chance of getting a scan of Caamas by itself, so it's not paired with Kerilt, like File:KeriltCaamas.jpg? - JMAS 22:24, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Done. Although I dont know where we should put it apart from the gallery? Caamas already has 2 images! -- Volemlock 17:19, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
      • Easy, I replaced the tiny CCG image with the NEGAS one. I've got one more request (for now *L*) if that's OK. How about Ord Mynock? - JMAS 17:28, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Species galleriesEdit

Hey. Just wanted to say, great work on the species galleries. I think it was you that did the first. I think they are a great idea! --Eyrezer 10:47, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

  • With regard to images, you might like to have a look at this consensus track on gallery-exclusive images. I voted that they should remain, with the species galleries specifically in mind. --Eyrezer 04:13, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Imperial commandosEdit

You have The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons? In it, does it talk about the Imperial Navy Troopers? At the bottom of the talk page for Imperial commandos, there is discussion as to whether these two are the same thing. So we have Imperial Navy Troopers, Imperial Commandos, and Imperial Army Commandos to figure out which are the same! -BaronGrackle 09:17, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Jensaarai Mentor AwardEdit

The Jensaarai Mentor Award is given to Volemlock by KEJ for providing Wookieepedia with greater knowledge in overlooked or obscure areas (in this case for providing images from obscure canonical sources).

Hey, Volem, I bestow upon you the Jensaarai Mentor Award. It's for people who provide Wookieepedia with knowledge which is often overlooked or which stems from more or less obscure canonical sources, like the Star Wars Adventure Journal. I give you this award because you have provided loads of obscure images to articles on obscure canonical elements from the Adventure Journal. Your efforts are much appreciated. KEJ 12:46, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Thank you very much, I appreciate your support. I have placed a smaller version of the award on my user page. -- Volemlock 19:02, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi Volemlock. I'm presuming that you have the Adventure Journals, and was wondering if you could pas on any unique information on the Entymals that appears in The Pentastar Alignment article in SWAJ3. I've written the article from Alien Encounters but have not been able add any info from SWAJ. I don't know if you could scan it or what. --Eyrezer 00:53, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Hi, I dont think that there is much in the Adventure Journal that is not in the article/Alien Encounters book. Under story factors it says "Any Entymal will find most displays of affection by other races, especially among humans, confusing. Most male Entymals in general will find the entire pursuit of human love most disagreeable Quote -Really now! This fixation with the continuation of your species...disgusting!" I dont think that this is in the Alien Encounters book. I have added the quote to the article. -- Volemlock 10:05, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Thank you --Eyrezer 04:00, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

External links vs. sources Edit

Hi: I notice you've been adding a lot of Hyperspace links to articles. These should actually be listed under sources, rather than external links, according to our layout guide. Thanks, —Silly Dan (talk) 15:36, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks for letting me know. I will try and go back and put them in the correct place. -- Volemlock 15:40, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
    • OK. Thanks again for adding all those! —Silly Dan (talk) 15:43, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Rappapor is a Bith?Edit

  • Hey there. I noticed in this revision that you added Rappapor as a member of the Bith species. Did you have a source for that? If so, I'd like to include as much info as possible on this character (I just created a page) but the only source I know of mentioning Rappapor is The Last Command (where he/she/it appears only on pages 87 and 325 of the paperback) and I can't find anything else. Hit me back on my talk page or Rappapor's talk page if you can fill me in. Thanks. Wildyoda 22:51, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Thanks. That's exactly what I wanted to know. Wildyoda 01:51, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks Volemlock. Coming from the author of Gamorrean, it means a lot. It was reading that article that made me realise that species articles could actually be interesting and worth putting time and effort into. Oh and congrats on being WOTM this month. It was well deserved. --Eyrezer 00:26, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

  • I see youve added a link to the Outsider to your userpage. Are you a contributor to it? --Eyrezer 09:54, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
    • No, not at all. I just added it to remind me to check it out every so often. It looks interesting. -- Volemlock 10:03, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
      • Ah, I see. Yeah it does look interesting, but it is hard to judge without an issue out yet! :p --Eyrezer 10:05, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Herglic Trade EmpireEdit

Hi! I'm trying to gather info together for the article, Expansionist Era. I noticed you did a lot of work on the Herglic article. I was wondering if you had any info and sources for an article on the Herglic Trade Empire...even if it's only enough for a stub article! Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you'd like. Have a good one : ) ~ Jaywin

  • Hi, I didnt add the "Herglic Trade Empire" link. I will have a look for a reference though, Thanks. -- Volemlock 20:17, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Help me, Volemlock, you're my only hopeEdit

Hi Volem, I've written a bunch of entries relating to Zirtran's Anchor (SWAJ 5) but they're desperately in need of images. Here's a category where they're collected. Maybe you could upload some images whenever you have the time. Thanks. KEJ 09:28, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Not to worry, I will get onto this. Always good to collaborate with you! -- Volemlock 10:54, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Thanks. You deserve a cookie for that ;-) KEJ 12:04, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
KEJ has awarded you a Wookiee Cookie!
For uploading images relevant to Zirtran's Anchor

Uploading new images Edit

I've noticed on the last several images you've uploaded, you are putting the Information template under a Summary section and also putting a licensing section below that, and in doing that, duplicating the licensing information. If you use the image information template and put the licensing tag in that, you don't need to also put a separate licensing tag below that. Thanks. - JMAS 17:32, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

House PelagiaEdit

I was looking over this article today, and thought it could qualify as a Featured Article. Considering you are the one that wrote it, would you agree? At the moment it has too many red links, and it would need a lead quote, but that should not be too difficult. --Eyrezer 04:14, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Hi, I will definitely try to complete this article more fully. I have started with some citations and creating some redlink article. I am not sure if this is worthy of featured article status because of its length? Perhaps Good article status is more appropriate? -- Volemlock 17:40, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
    • I'm glad to see you hold Featured article status in such high regard! A length requirement has never been made offical for FAs but it is over 1000 words, which is unofficially the threshold. It strikes me that the Pelagia province information could be integrated into to the article to give it some more length. --Eyrezer 23:35, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Lately, I've been researching Platt Okeefe in preparation for an expansion of her article. I have all the major sources involving her. However, what I'm still looking for are any relevant pieces of information on Okeefe that may be found in her various Smuggler's Logs or the Galaxywide NewsNets articles that mention her. An example of what I'm looking for is Okeefe's encounter with the Dread Pirate, Mendel Cutter while she was a "waif".
Having seen your Adventure Journal contributions to the Wookieepeida, I wondered if you could help at all? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! --Eyrezer 08:38, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

SWAJ 11 scanEdit

Hey, could you perhaps scan the image of Dagon Niriz from Command Decision in Adventure Journal 11? The image we had was actually taken from Hyperspace, and we're temporarily using a grayscale version, but a scan would probably be the best way to go. Thanks. -- Ozzel 02:05, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Please find the image here. Hope that this is ok. Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with. -- Volemlock 15:27, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
    • Looks great, thanks! -- Ozzel 23:09, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Alliance Intelligence ReportsEdit

Thank you for providing images to some articles I wrote from A.I.R. I would have liked to do it myself, but I have no access to scanning technology. Great job! :) - Skippy Farlstendoiro 07:47, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Not a problem! If you need anything else scanned let me know - I have quite a few reference books. -- Volemlock 17:39, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
    • Hi Volemlock. I was wondering if you could se if there is a pic of Tamo Lan in Star Wars Adventure Journal 10, and also tell me the actual name of the article he appears in? Thanks. --Eyrezer 01:46, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
      • Thanks for that scan. I've added it to the Carosite article as well, which I nom'd for FA. --Eyrezer 01:33, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Image placement request Edit

Please don't put images in the middle of paragraphs: it makes it harder for editors to move them around as needed. Thanks, —Silly Dan (talk) 21:26, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey Volemlock. I'd like to try and get Gamorrean back up to FA. I think the only major objection current is that it is not fully sourced. Are you able to source it? Can I help with this? --Eyrezer 06:14, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

  • I would like this also! The Wookieepedia:Inq/Gamorrean page also says "Sectioning" - I dont know what this means specifically? With regards to the sourcing you could help by adding [source?] tags and I will try and find sources where I can. I dont know a source for " Their average body temperature was 105 degrees and their verbal tones ranged from 50 to 13,000 hertz", I did not add this. Should we remove it? A significant amount of the information is from Star Wars Adventure Journal 14 and Star Wars Adventure Journal 10 - do we keep adding the same citations even if it is within the same paragraph. I am just a little confused about this? -- Volemlock 13:41, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
    • My understanding is that each paragraph needs to have at least one reference. If all the information in a paragraph is from one source, the paragraph can be sourced just once. When the paragraph contains information from more than one source, each information block needs to be referenced within the paragraph. I hope that makes some sense.
    • With regard to the sectioning, I think most of it is fine. It is just the Clan Society section that is rather huge. I think it needs to be subdivided further. Perhaps it could be a subheading on female roles and males roles. This seems to be how that section is organised. Perhaps then a fortress section. Something like that.
    • Also the Gamorreans in the galaxy section could be subdivided. I see someone, perhaps you, removed the "Piggy" section which I personally didn't have a problem with. The Gamorreans and Hutts section made sense to me. A while back I did some work on the Rodian article. The Rodians in the Galaxy section is divided into a number of sections which may provide some ideas.
    • With regard to the sourcing, I don't have either of those AJs so can't do that in particular, but will try and do the template as you suggested.

--Eyrezer 14:14, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Hey Volemlock. I saw that you uploaded some pics from Fact Files 129. I understand there is an article on Ruusan there. I am currently working on an article on the Bouncers and wondered if there is any information on them there. --Eyrezer 12:11, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
  • Out of curiosity, when you say AJ14 was a major source for Gamorrean, is that the short story Murder in Slushtime or another article? And the AJ10 article, was it A Free-Trader's Guide to the Planets? --Eyrezer 03:39, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
    • Indeed Murder in Slushtime in AJ14 and A Free-Trader's Guide to the Planets in AJ10. - Volemlock 09:58, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Galaxy Guide 7Edit

  • Hi, saw you had Galaxy Guide 7 and wondered if you could create the pages for Chachi DeMaal (or De Maal) and Ohwun DeMaal, please. I wanted to create the (very small) entry for the DeMaal's Docking Bay that appears in Outlander but found out this Duros couple existed through the CUSWE I'd rather wait to see what is known about them before I tried anything. ;) 01:49, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Chachi De Maal

Since you have done a lot of work on species articles, I wondered if you could have a look at this. I'd like to put it on the species page which currently is just a list. I'd particularly be interested in comments on the Species articles and Navigating the encyclopedia sections. --Eyrezer 07:17, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

  • I like it! Nice summary of species types and I like that all the species articles (galerys etc..) are listed in one place. A few points:
    • Since the Species articles and Navigating the encyclopedia sections are "out-of-universe" do you think that these should be in a "behind the scenes section"?
    • I dont know if the community agreed with fixing the species articles sections (are these just examples?).
    • Did we want to reference the Wookieepedia:WookieeProject Aliens? - not saying that we should but would be interested to know what you think.
    • Where it says "Mammon Hoole wrote the acclaimed The Essential Guide to Alien Species" - the link goes to the "out-of-universe" book! -- Volemlock 17:39, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
      • Thanks for the feedback.
        • Re the OOU part: This is interesting because I purposely made it as IU as possible. If, if, the Wookieepedia is supposed to exist in-universe, then what is there should be fine. Can you see the argument? Nevertheless, that is why I put it in a slightly different background. Noweher on the encyclopedia do we have any navigational aids like that and I wanted to have a way to showcase the various organizations of the species. I might try and change it to look more like the front page. With regard to the Wookiee project, mentioning this would make it definitely OOU, but then maybe we should just go with that.
        • I decided to be Bold in writing about the species sections. "Biology and appearance" is the label in the GG12 which I think works well. Having just appearance risks confusion with the appearances/sources. I though I might go through and standardise at least that heading on the Wookiee. GG12 has "History and culture" as a label, putting them together. I like to have them apart where possible. Many of the other GG labels such as temperament, technology level, personality notes etc are what we treat as subsections. I like the "Gamorreans in the galaxy" section, but it can be difficult to separate out which is why I put the proviso on the page.
        • Re Mammon Hoole: Yeah I know! We don't have an IU article at the mo. Maybe we should make one... --Eyrezer 05:24, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
  • I made some changes to the navigation section here. --Eyrezer 05:06, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
    • This looks great - well done! -- Volemlock 18:39, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
  • Hey Vol, do you have Steve Sansweet's Star Wars Encyclopedia? There's a good pic of Callista there if you do. --Eyrezer 09:14, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
    • Unfortunately not. I need to get myself a copy! -- Volemlock 15:41, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

RE: DarkStryder ImagesEdit

Thanks for adding some images to the DarkStryder articles I created! My scanner was giving me a little trouble last week. Nice work on the gallery too. I linked in some more images when I found it had been created. - Cavalier One 14:58, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Planet Images Edit

  • Just wanted to thank you for the wicked job you're doing with getting planet images up on Wookieepedia. It's really helping me with my mod as I work to reskin planets for Empire at War, so thanks! - Brynn Alastayr 07:32, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

colon antilles Edit

Hi. I saw in a revision [1] of 2006 that you added the paragraph

[Colton Antilles] was the son of Captain Raymus Antilles who commanded the Tantive IV during the comencement of Order 66.

I'd like to ask: Did you have some source about it, or was it just a fanon theory that was believed back then? MoffRebus 04:38, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Hi there. I believe that I changed this so that it was consistent with the family tree. It has been resolved now though has it not? -- Volemlock 07:32, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Rogues GalleryEdit

I'm thinking of redirecting the individual Rogues Gallery to this one, similar to how the Smuggler's Log and Galaxywide NewsNets work. What do you think? --Eyrezer 12:14, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

  • This would probably make sense! -- Volemlock 15:23, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Searching for Virgillia 7Edit

Hi there. I noticed The Truce at Bakura Sourcebook listed on your userpage and was wondering if you could help me. The article Virgillia 7 was recently deleted because it was sourceless, though I have reason to believe it's from the above sourcebook. Could you possibly check it out? The article's deletion has caused several redlinks, most notably one on the Halagad Ventor article, a FA. Thanks very much and sorry to bother you with this. --Azizlight 10:15, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I've noticed that you've done quite a bit of work on logos and hoped you might be able to tidy up the Farfalla crest from Jedi vs. Sith. A poor version I've uploaded is here. A slightly different angle is here. --Eyrezer 10:09, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

  • Hi Eyrezer. There is not much to work with! I have looked at the book to see if there are any more images but I cant find any. I will have a think. -- Volemlock 12:27, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
    • Yeah, I know. And the two images I linked to don't exactly match either. --Eyrezer 01:55, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Picture request if possibly ;)Edit

Hey Volemlock. I noticed on your userpage that you have Star Wars Legacy 4: Noob listed in your collection. If that's the hard copy of it, I was curious if I could ask for your help. If you have a scanner and the hardcopy of Noob, I'm looking for some cleaner/better quality scans of the following:

According to Imp's objection to Harkas on the FAN page, the first two images are distorted. The second two he said he could let slip by, but would ideally like to see better scans. I only have an ecopy of it, and it's not the best there is. If you're able to help out, it would be appreciated. Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 21:53, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Another Picture Request Edit

I'm noticing you're uploading a lot of pictures from EGttF... any chance you'd be willing to get one for me? It's the one with Leia fighting Vader on Mimban, during the bit where they talk about the Kaiburr crystal.

Thanks. Jorrel Wiki-shrinkable Fraajic 10:50, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Is this the image you are looking for? Let me know if there are any others you would like me to upload. -- Volemlock 10:57, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
  • Sweet, that's the one. Thanks again. Jorrel Wiki-shrinkable Fraajic 11:04, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

I figured there's no need to make another heading since my request falls under this same topic. Could you scan and upload the image of the Coralskipper from Starships of the Galaxy 2007? When I was perusing the book at the bookstore the other day, that image jumped out at me as being one that would be good for the article here. Thanks Volemlock. - JMAS 22:22, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

  • Is this the one that jumped out at you? Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help -- Volemlock 10:55, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
    • That's the one. Got it in the article now. Thanks. - JMAS 13:11, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Dark Side SourcebookEdit

Hey, I see you have The Dark Side Sourcebook. Could you upload better scans of this and this? Thanks, -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 21:45, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

  • I have uploaded some new scans. Hope that they are a little better! -- Volemlock 11:31, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
    • Thank you very much. Hopefully they'll be up to Imperialles's ridiculously high standards. Thanks again -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 11:33, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi Volemlock. Could you do an image scans for me? I've just written Moorja, there are two images in The Lambda Heist (Gamer 2) that would add to the article: the title image showing 3 ppl looking down on the scout base and the layout of the scout base. --Eyrezer 02:22, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Stock ShipsEdit

Hello Volemlock. I see that you own a copy of the sourcebook "Stock Ships" by WEG. So I wanted to ask for your assistance with something.

I would like get as much information as I can on a class of ship that is listed there. The "Lantillian Short Hauler". I would love to be able to read an actual scan of the pages in which the ship is referenced, if that's ok with you.

If you think you can give me a hand with this issue, please send me the scans to Let me know if there is anything else you need to help you on this. Carlitos Moff 08:23, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Actually, nevermind. I already got the information I needed from jSarek over at IRC. Thanks anyway! Carlitos Moff 01:52, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Gallery pages Edit

Hey, Volemlock. I saw you were editing a gallery page, so I thought I'd let you know that we are currently in the process of categorizing all images and deleting gallery pages. They're a dying breed, so whatever you edit will ultimately be removed at some point in the not too distant future. Just FYI. Thanks! :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:48, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Greetings Volemlock. I saw the picture that you put up for Xishel and I wondered if I could use it as an image for my DJB Profile. Thanks. Kalak Ragnose 15:07, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Be my guest. -- Volemlock 17:57, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Subpage GalleryEdit

Dunno if you realize it, but your subpage gallery's been a big help to me, with the whole vector conversion thing. So thanks-- great stuff. :)

ETA: D'you mind if I edit your subpage a little? There are a couple things you've got misplaced, mostly because I mislabeled the SVGs I uploaded. :P

- Trip 18:16, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Go right ahead. I like flags, heraldry and symbol in the "real world" and also like logos etc in the Star Wars universe. I started the gallery as an attempt to consolidate all the logo/symbols/insignia. Nice work with the vector logos by the way. They are excellent! At the end of this page there some images containing logos/flags etc. I dont know if you would be able to produce vector diagrams from these images? In particular I would really like it if we could get a good image of Bossks shoulder symbol. I am guessing that you would need a better image than this? Let me know if there is anything I can do to help with your project. -- Volemlock 22:09, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
    • Thanks. :P Yeah, I saw the final section at the end; stuff like that is great, that's exactly what I'm looking for. I really do plan to try and do /everything/, even if it's only found in images like that. The image you've got up of Bossk's shoulder emblem is probably fine, actually; there's enough of it there that I can fill in the blanks. I'll try doing that one shortly. :)
I'll definitely let you know if I need any images... for right now, though, would it be possible to get a better scan of the Colicoid Creation Nest image? I *think* there are two different color tones, but it's hard to tell from the one that's up on the wook. -- Trip 21:12, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi Volemlock. In your recent update to the Special Military Unit Intelligence Update article, you added a link to Gunman. Whereabouts in the article is Gunman mentioned? --Eyrezer 10:24, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Hi Eyrezer. I think that you are correct. I listed it because it linked to the Gunman article but I am not convinced that it is in the article. I have removed. -- Volemlock 11:37, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
    • Ok, cheers. I'd linked to it from Gunman for context in his article. --Eyrezer 11:55, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Hi Volemlock. I spotted that you have the video game Star Wars: Rebellion in your collection. Would you be able to get a screenshot of the Atrivis sector map for me? Regards, --Eyrezer 07:36, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
    • I don't have the game on my system any longer and I am not too sure where the disk is. I was under the impression that the game was notoriously incorrect with regards to the location of planets within sectors? Sorry that I could not help with this. -- Volemlock 18:58, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
      • No worries. My intention was to place the pic in the Behind the scenes section where I already have some discussion on the Rebellion inaccuracies. That said, the policy seems to be to go with Rebellion unless elsewhere contradicted. In the case of Atrivis sector, that meant 3 planets were incorrect. On this basis, I wonder if the layout or general proximity of the correctly placed planets might be correct. If so that would be cool, and, in fact, some of the non-Rebellion planets that have been placed in the sector could be substituted in. On a related note, in doing some research on planets, I've actually rehabilitated some of the placements made by Rebellion as often the placements on the Wook are based on conjecture only. Later, --Eyrezer 01:10, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Hi Volemlock. I just thought I'd point out that when the Gamer or Journal etc templates are used, a {{!}} can be inserted so that the name sans parenthesis can be shown. Ie {{GamerCite|9|Running the Belt (article){{!}}Running the Belt}}. --Eyrezer 09:32, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
    • Thanks for letting me know, I was wondering how that could be done. -- Volemlock 09:40, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
      • No problem. --Eyrezer 09:44, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Worlohp Edit

Hello, Volemlock. I've heard on the grapevine that you possess physical copies of the Gamer magazine. I've written up the article on Worlohp, from issue 1 of the magazine, but the images in the...uh....that were available to me weren't of the best quality. I was just wondering if you would be able to replace them for me? If you can, it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Thefourdotelipsis 00:06, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

  • I have replaced the images in this article. I hope you consider them improvements. Let me know if there are any other images that you require. -- Volemlock 12:28, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
    • Thank you very much for that. Sorry for the late reply. Thefourdotelipsis 10:23, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Osvald Teshik in The Far Orbit Project Edit

Judging from some of your recent edits, you have access to The Far Orbit Project; could you tell me what role Grand Admiral Osvald Teshik plays in the book? Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 19:11, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Far Orbit Pictures Edit

Thanks for adding pictures to Mii Heswop and Swifty Yonsen. I've been working on creating pages for people and ships from the Far Orbit Project, but my scanner isn't working, so I haven't been able to get pictures myself. Would you possibly be able to add pictures to other Far Orbit Project-based articles for me? I'll be finishing making pages for all of the recruitable crew and a few other characters in the next couple of days, and it would be fantastic if you were able to add pictures. Thanks! Doluk 21:42, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Thanks for adding the pics to the other articles I created! It's much appreciated. Doluk 00:06, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Doluk has awarded you a Wookiee Cookie!
for adding pics to Far Orbit-related articles

Great Herdship HeistEdit

Hi Vol. Any chance you could scan in the title page bit of The Great Herdship Heist for its infobox? I'm trying to GA it and someone suggested that would be a good addition. It's in SJAW15. --Eyrezer 04:27, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Hi Eyrezer. I have uploaded a infobox image. Is this ok? -- Volemlock 08:28, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
    • Fantastic. Thanks for that. --Eyrezer 04:20, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

No Disintegrations Edit

Do you have No Disintegrations? If so, could you scan a cleaner version of this image? --Eyrezer 22:14, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

  • Hi Eyrezer. Sorry for not responding sooner. I have uploaded a replacement - might be a little cleaner? -- Volemlock 09:39, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
    • Cool. Thanks for that. --Eyrezer 16:34, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

A-Wing Image Edit

I notice that you put up an image of an a wing fighter pilot helmet at the bottom of the a wing page. Unfortunately that is a very incorrect image, as all scenes and photos from the movie show a very different helmet for all a wing pilots. Just thought you would want to know, as it is a very well-viewed page.

Yours Raniksolusar14 04:24, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Classic Star Wars images Edit

Hey, Volemlock. I noticed you did a very nice job on this Executor scan from CSW. Would you mind if I put in a few more Executor CSW scans with you? Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:11, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

  • Sure, if I can help. If you let me know how I can I will have a go over the weekend. -- Volemlock 19:43, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
    • I'm going to try and leave a list here of the specific images I was hoping to get, if that's not a problem. I only have the CSW TPBs, so I can't direct you to exactly what issue number they're in, but I'll try my best to explain. Do what you can. :)
  1. These two images could use re-scans if superior versions can be had: one and two.
  2. In Darth Vader Strikes, there is a panel that shows the Executor's engines being constructed. An insert in the same panel as the bubble text, "Uh...that's the construction side ahead!" -- "Saved, huh? Well, I'll be around if you need a ride back...or some appreciation!"
  3. In Revenge of the Jedi, when the Executor destroys Laakteen Depot, a panel shows the ship flying over the decimated base, and the voice bubble reads, "The Executor performed magnificently, Lord Vader! The destruction is complete!"
  4. In Doom Mission, right next to this image, there is a shot of two destroyed ships in the foreground of the Executor, and Vader is saying, "...and I did not name it the Executor for nothing!"
  5. Later, in the third TPB, the Executor falls under the Rebel power gem attack. There's a panel where Luke and Vrad Dodonna's ship flies past the Executor, and the word box reads, "Maneuvered wildly by Vrad Dodonna, the special Rebel attack ship successfully flees the monstrous cruiser, Executor!"
  6. We have another image of a panel soon thereafter, seen here, that's kind of small. If you could grab a better version of that, that would be great.
  7. There's a shot of the Executor disabled immediately after this. The quote bubbles read, " our gyro-control system! N-nothing beyond repair, but until then...We can't turn the cruiser to give pursuit or resume our attack!"
  8. Finally, there's a panel in Race for Survival in which the Executor is moving to attack the Rebel fleet near the unstable sun that shows both the Executor and the fleet. The narrative caption reads, "The Rebel fleet soars past the dwindling stellar flares of the unstable sun...into range of Darth Vader's waiting cruiser!"

I realize this is kind of a hefty list, so if you can help out with any of these, I would really appreciate it! Thanks a lot. Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:20, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

  • All of these images have been obtained, so don't worry. Thanks anyway. Toprawa and Ralltiir 06:44, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Flags Edit

Hello, Volemlock. I see that you like flags, right? Would you mind visiting by VexiWiki, a wiki about flags? We could use some more users. Have a great day! ;-) FlagFreak 18:41, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Star Wars: Bounty HunterEdit

Hi Vol. I see that you have this game. I am looking for info on Bendix Fust, and his back story, because I want to GA his species, the Mordageen. Would it be possible to check what I've written on the Mordageen page against the story presented in Bounty Hunter? I don't have access to the game, so am not entirely sure I have it all right. --Eyrezer 00:05, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

WookieeProject AliensEdit

Hey Volemlock. I thought I'd point out a little challenge over at WookieeProject Aliens trying to get a GA for every letter of the alphabet. If you have time, you may like to write up an article to contribute. They should be between 250 and 1000 words. --Eyrezer 04:44, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Gamorrean in Scavenger Hunt Edit

Hello, Volemlock.

In November 27th, 2006 (I know it's been a long time), you added two sources to Gamorrean, being one of those the RPG adventure Scavenger Hunt by West End Games. I've been reviewing Hunt page by page but I've been unable to find any reference to Gamorrean (or to "pig-faced guards from Jabba's palace" or anything similar). If you can remember where it was (and if you still have the book easily available and other confort factors), could you please pinpoint the page where Gamorreans are mentioned?

Thank you very much, --Skippy Farlstendoiro 09:13, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

If I may butt in, there's a section on Squib bargaining practices that mentions the Gamorrean snack-cracker. This may be the reference Volemlock had in mind. ~ SavageBob 15:06, September 8, 2009 (UTC)
Page 11, here it is. Thank you, SavageBob. Apologies for any inconvenience, Volemlock. Always my pleasure, both of you.

New nose Art Edit

Hi! In which part of the Fact Files did you find the symbol for the Desilijic clan? I can't find it. (

Nightlily 13:27, November 25, 2009 (UTC)

  • I really cant remember. If I get a chance this weekend I will try and find the reference. I think that it is in the background of one of Jabba's entries. -- Volemlock 20:49, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
    • Okay, thanks:-)
      • I checked Jabba's entries, but I couldn't find it.Nightlily 11:06, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

Gallery of insignia Edit

I've been using your sub-page gallery to help find what other images there are that I could convert to SVGs, continuing Trip's work pretty much. I was wondering if, seeing as you must be quite familiar with the sources, if you could try and add images to WP:Images vector art sub-project. If you want, you can just add them to the talk page with the caption saying what the source is. Then I can add them to the main list, work out which can be converted to SVG and, hopefully, do so. Let me know if you'd be happy to do this and if I can be of any further help. You might also want to check out the new uploads section for when I get around to uploading new vector versions so you can make the adjustments to your sub-page. Thanks, NayayenTALK 20:08, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

WookieeProject AliensEdit

Hey Vol. Is there any way I can entice you back into a more active role with WookieeProject Aliens? We have a pretty active crew now, with 40-odd Featured articles, 80-odd Good articles, and a few Completed articles to boot. We've almost achieved a Featured article and Good article for every letter of the alphabet. We are always in need of good editors and writers though, and your work on Gamorrean way back when is a testament to your skills. --Eyrezer 09:01, May 3, 2010 (UTC)

Threats of the Galaxy pic Edit

Hey, you uploaded this pic from Threats of the Galaxy: File:Police officer TofG.jpg. Can you tell me what information is given about this Twi'lek cop and what police force she is a part of if it says. Thanks! Coruscantfan 02:04, September 27, 2010 (UTC)

Infinity Gate Edit

Just as an FYI, that image isn't really a logo or insignia. That is the actual Infinity Gate itself. Just thought I'd point that out, since I'm not sure you'd want to keep it on your logo subpage if it's not an actual symbol. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 13:09, February 25, 2011 (UTC)

  • Thanks. I got a bit over excited - was intending to look into this later. I will remove. -- Volemlock 18:36, February 25, 2011 (UTC)

500,000 BBY Edit

Hey Volemlock! I've noticed you seem to have access to the Star Wars Adventure Journal 8, Alien Encounters and Alien Anthology. Could you please check these books (The Gree Enclave in the Adventure Journal) to see whether there's any mention of 500,000 BBY in them? It's probably something about the Gree in the former two and Gungans fighting woolly veermoks in the latter one, as can be seen in the date article. Thanks! Imperators II(Talk) 17:01, March 25, 2011 (UTC)

Info/Image request Edit

Hey, I'm wondering if you can please assist me with images and information of the Republic Peace Officers from Star Wars: Republic 28: The Hunt for Aurra Sing, Part 1. Images of them, if there are any, would be great but I'm also needing as much information as possible including quotes if there are any. If you could let me know, I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks! Coruscantfan (Talk) 05:00, January 25, 2012 (UTC)

Logo subpageEdit

I finally got around to merging your logo subpage with the WookieeProject Images gallery of logos like I've been meaning to do for, oh, years now. Would you mind redirecting your subpage to the official one and then just making any future edits to that? There has always been a bit of lag between the two in PNG/SVG replacements, etc., and this will prevent any future redundancy. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 18:25, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

  • That a good idea. I have not been a very active user recently and I am afraid I cant remember how to redirect my page, would you be able to do so. I will update the offical page in the future. Volemlock 19:43, April 13, 2012 (UTC)

Sith Symbols Edit

Hi, I've noticed that you've added 2 Sith Symbols to Wookieepedia, however one is labelled Symbol #1, and the other is labelled #4. I can't find numbers 2 or 3 anywhere. Are there any more symbols? Thanks. --Steve3391 (talk) 22:03, February 23, 2013 (UTC)

the image for the carrack-class light cruiser cannot be correct. if the ship is to be 350 meters long (10 times that of the millennium falcon) you would not be able to look into it's bridge. Carrack-class_light_cruiser?file=Carrack_Cruiser_FFno106.jpg

Nova StihlEdit

Hello! Did You do this image? Why do you thing Nova Stihl stands to the left of the door and Durmin stands to the right? What source allows you to think so? Thanks! 16:16, January 20, 2015 (UTC)
