Information templateEdit

  • Hey, it looks like you're the one JustinGann mentioned would be uploading some images. Would you consider helping us out, and use the information template in your upload summaries? It's available for cutting and pasting right on the Upload File page. Information on its use can also be found there. Thanks. :-) jSarek 09:23, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
    • Your contributions, however, are incredibly helpful. We can always use more movie screenshots of unnoticed characters (thousands). -- Riffsyphon1024 16:34, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
  • Thanks, I would also like to give credit to Justin since he definately helped me learn to format and helped me spot some images.--Xzylongann 00:05, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
    • Welcome, bro! To be fair, I owe Xzylon the thanks. JSarek had told me to use information templates before, and I had misunderstood what that meant, and Xzylon taught ME. And HOW long have I been a 'pedian? As Yoda would say, "How embarassing...." Rest assured we will not be kicked off Wookieepedia for adding pics of Nabooan bees;)JustinGann 10:45, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Capitalize, Capitalize, Capitalize!!!! Edit

  • Sir, I've noticed a disturbing pattern in many of your edits. You seem to neglect to capitalize proper nouns when including new information. The latest example is your recent edit of the Battle of Endor, where you included "unnamed pilot (Endor)," instead of "Unnamed pilot (Endor)." These things must ALWAYS be capitalized. Please follow suit in the future.Toprawa and Ralltiir 04:56, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
    • That was really my choice, not Xzylon's, on the capitalization, though I admit I have not been consistent (will try to do better on that). It may be standard practice in our lists to always capitalize the first word, but as I feel obligated as an English major to point out "Unnamed" is not a proper noun in such cases! It gets capitalized in article titles ONLY because the 'pedia always automatically capitalizes first words, whether they should be or not. From a grammatical standpoint, I know of no reason to capitalize "unnamed," "unknown," "unidentified," etc. in titles when they are listed. I think that is just a somewhat arbitrary tradition we have. In the example "unnamed pilot (Endor)," the ONLY proper noun is "Endor," which was capitalized;)JustinGann 10:45, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Opinion on Game Mechanics Edit

If a user of wookiepedia is going to do a search for an article we should try and have a least a basic article or a redirect to direct them to information that is valid, weather or not the term is a "game mechanic." After all tons of the technology articles from Knights of the Old Republic are purely game mechanics that change appearance or stats. Xzylongann 03:23, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

Stop spamming or you will be blocked. This is your only warning. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 03:13, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Sorry, I guess I was over enthused. Xzylongann 03:15, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
    • By the way, I would like to make a public apology for this spamming. Xzylongann 03:21, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
      • Please don't do that again. Not all of us have the time or desire to be forced to edit certain articles. -- Riffsyphon1024 09:59, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
  • A post on the forum at Wookieepedia:WookieeProject Aliens will probably get a better response. —Silly Dan (talk) 11:41, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
    • I won't and thanks for the idea. Xzylongann 17:22, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Umm well i wasnt the one who put that info in the article, so i cant help with the sources. sorry. Greekpimp 07:51, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Not notableEdit

New creations Edit

Incorrect passwords aren't notable enough for an article. We're an encyclopedia, not a game guide; I'm not correct passwords would even be worthy of an article. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 21:53, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Creature articlesEdit

I see you're taking an interest in creature articles. Good work. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 07:00, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
