Uploading ImagesEdit

Hi there, thank you very much for uploading File:Zeltron - Join the Resistance 1.png. Please bear in mind that all images that you upload must have a summary box. Don't worry, Brules has filled that in. Besides the source, you need to cite the licensing and the category that the images falls into. I also recommend reading Wookieepedia:Images for more information. Thank you for your contribution and wish you all the best at Wookieepedia. Andykatib 02:11, December 11, 2016 (UTC)

  • Again, just to reiterate, you are not properly sourcing and formatting the summary for the images you are uploading. If you do not do so, you are just creating more work for other users. Please properly format your uploads in the future. Thank you. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 20:18, December 20, 2016 (UTC)

Force Arena images Edit

Hello there! I see that you've uploaded good pics of Thrawn and Sabine from Star Wars: Force Arena, which were likely extracted from the game files. Great! :) Do you think you could do the same thing with Evaan, Yogar Lyste, and Governor Pryce? --Lelal Mekha The Uprising crest (Audience Room) 15:07, April 9, 2017 (UTC)

I have taken thos off of Twitter. Sorry.--ZapikCZ (talk) 22:44, April 15, 2017 (UTC)

Mace Windu comic Edit

Hey, you don't need to move the Jedi of the Republic—Mace Windu 1 as it is on the right page as it is, if you look at Star Wars: Darth Maul—Son of Dathomir you would notice it is the same --Lewisr (talk) 17:22, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

  • But no source has it without the spaces. Is this a Wook-specific thing?--ZapikCZ (talk) 17:24, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Yes, actually, you did have time. There's an upload form for a reason. Use the guided upload form, follow instructions, and your images won't be deleted. IFYLOFD (Talk) 15:47, June 2, 2017 (UTC)

  • Sorry for not being a computer. By deleting them you only made my work slowers. I do things methodically. When I do the same thing multiple times (upload an image), I do them all. Then I add the info. And then I add the images in the articles. You are the only person that has ever done this to me. Give me my 15 minutes. I had problems with my mouse too, doesn´t highlight properly. Let me work and don´t make it harder for everybody. Please. It´s not like they would bother anyone who isn´t an editor, since I wouldn´t add them to any articles before I sourced them.--ZapikCZ (talk) 09:48, June 3, 2017 (UTC)

Reply: Add more of those Uprising images Edit

  • Sure thing. Since you've suggested it, I'll make that my focus for the next few......well, I guess I have no idea how long I'm going to be doing it. But I'll get some more up here. There's a link to the .pdf file on at the page for "File:BK-298" if you'd like to help. Shayn Mikel (talk) 18:39, June 8, 2017 (UTC)
    • Update: I have no idea how to link to a file's page without pasting to the file itself. For now, just follow the link here.
  • Sort of related: Where did you get the portrait photo for Alrrark? That's really high quality for such a recent upload. Really the only improvement I can think of it to have it as a regular non-transparent JPEG, so the 100% Game Completion bar doesn't go across the image. Shayn Mikel (talk)
    • I think I got it from here. Hopefully not violating any rules by givving that link to you, since it isn´t mine. And I hope too it works.--ZapikCZ (talk) 19:06, June 8, 2017 (UTC)
      • Thx. For future reference, please post replies on the talk page for the user to whom you're replying (in this case, mine). Not everyone on here will think to check your page for a reply. MTFBWY.Shayn Mikel (talk) 00:51, June 10, 2017 (UTC)

RE: Wreck-it-Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet Edit

I very much doubt that's worth having a page on here, could be worth adding to the behind the scenes section on C-3PO's page --Lewisr (talk) 15:49, July 15, 2017 (UTC)

Paige TicoEdit

I noticed you moved the page, you need to add the source where the name was used or it'll likely get moved back --Lewisr (talk) 23:24, July 15, 2017 (UTC)

  • You still have to add the tweet to the page --Lewisr (talk) 23:29, July 15, 2017 (UTC)

RE:What do you think about the Adventures 1 name issue? Edit

Hey! I replied regarding this, I agree with what you are suggesting so I'll leave it upto you to take the best course of action --Lewisr (talk) 13:39, July 24, 2017 (UTC)

  • Completely slipped my mind that you had done a template for this series, sorry! I feel that generally as we don't do templates for comics we should remove them and go to normal formatting but I don't want to make that decision for you, what do you reckon? --Lewisr (talk) 15:10, July 24, 2017 (UTC)
    • Well that makes sense then to have the templates then in that case --Lewisr (talk) 16:57, July 24, 2017 (UTC)
      • Apologies I was out, do you still need me to do it? --Lewisr (talk) 22:40, July 24, 2017 (UTC)
        • No problem, I'll get back to finishing off the rest now! --Lewisr (talk) 12:33, July 25, 2017 (UTC)
          • Pretty sure they're all done now! --Lewisr (talk) 13:00, July 25, 2017 (UTC)
            • No problem glad to help out! Just replied regarding the short stories questions you had --Lewisr (talk) 20:02, July 25, 2017 (UTC)

Re: From a Certain Point of View Edit

Hey, Zapik! I think you're right, the article should be moved to the shorter title. For whatever reason, I was thinking short story collections were listed as an exception on the naming policy, but they aren't. Thanks for getting this cleared up! - Cwedin(talk) 22:34, July 28, 2017 (UTC)

Star Wars 39 Edit

Given that there is a link to the upcoming Star Wars 40, why is there not one for the issue before it? --Nostalgia of Iran (talk) 14:48, August 17, 2017 (UTC)

Categorization Edit

Hello. When creating new categories, such as Category:Images from Star Wars Adventures (IDW) or Category:Star Wars Adventures lead stories, always make sure you also add proper categories to them. And, regarding the second category I linked, please try to avoid creating categories if there is only one page that goes into them. Thanks, Imperators II(Talk) 07:05, August 19, 2017 (UTC)

Moviemaking Magic Edit

I'm going to ask you to please not remove the Canceled template from the Moviemaking Magic book article. Although Lucasfilm announced the book in that SDCC press release, the fact is that there is no marketplace listing for this book on any of the major online bookselling websites (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books-a-Million, to name three) or the Abrams website itself. Maybe you're not familiar with how bookselling works here in the United States, but marketplace websites create product listings for upcoming books 1-2 years in advance. So for a book that was supposed to be coming out before the end of 2017 to have no marketplace listing at all is extremely unusual. That doesn't suggest the book is in development lingo; that's tantamount to the online marketplace telling us that this product simply doesn't exist, or in other words, it's been canceled. The only quasi-marketplace listing I can find for this thing is Book Depository (and I say quasi, because I don't know how reliable or authoritative this website is), which claims this book is coming out in February 2018. But the problem with that is, a) if you do an ISBN search for this product, there are no hits, which means it doesn't exist; and b) again, if something was coming out next February, it would already be available for preorder everywhere, and Abrams would have a product listing for it on its website. The fact that none of which is true means this book is effectively canceled. This is not the same type of situation for which we created {{Unknown development status}}. That template is for something like Star Wars: 1313, where we had ample and undeniable proof that it was a real product in actual development but had been stalled or shelved for some unknown reason. The same cannot be said for this book, where we have ample marketplace evidence showing that this product apparently never existed at all, despite Lucasfilm's press release. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:06, August 28, 2017 (UTC)

I imagine its best to wait until they are officially released, its only a few days away --Lewisr (talk) 18:15, August 29, 2017 (UTC)

Supremacy/Raddus data Edit

Say, Zap, I was wondering, think you could upload the app screenshots for the various details of the Supremacy/Raddus (certainly the one about the Supremacy being in the Unknown Regions, at least)? I think they would act as a useful sourcing tool for those ships, especially when not all of us have access to the app or those droids anyways. I've found two, so I might upload them here, but I was wondering if you could upload the third (and upload the images for the Raddus as well). Weedle McHairybug (talk) 23:50, September 1, 2017 (UTC)

Oh. In that case, think you can link me to that Stupendous Wave video (assuming it wasn't live, anyway)? Weedle McHairybug (talk) 10:10, September 2, 2017 (UTC)
Okay. Got it. Screencaptured the image and put it onto Microsoft Paint. Will upload it soon. We'll use that, at least until someone gets an actual direct screencap for the image. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 10:34, September 2, 2017 (UTC)
Good thing you were able to figure it out, because for whatever reason, my attempt at doing so ran into a glitch on Microsoft Paint due by somehow adding in a box with "search" into it despite making sure it wasn't there when doing CTRL+Print Screen. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 22:41, September 2, 2017 (UTC)
BTW, did you have any luck finding any other AR data for the Raddus besides the main one, the bit about it being decommissioned, and detailing the BB-4 and 2BB-2 droids? I managed to find an additional two for the Supremacy via some websites: One dealing with the command bridge stats, and the other dealing with Snoke himself. I was wondering if you found anything similar, because I tried to find more images on that front as well and couldn't find anything there. 2603:3001:1901:CB00:21AC:D5A1:D55D:7D30 23:41, September 4, 2017 (UTC)
^For the record, the above comment was made by me. The server logged me out just as I was about to post it. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 23:42, September 4, 2017 (UTC)

RE: BloodlineEdit

This is a mistake by Amazon, one I assume was made because they merely listed the language and didn't bother to note the country (far too frequent when it comes to brazilian books). This being published by Aleph, a brazilian publisher that doesn't even publish in Portugal. I actually believe this cover was essentially leaked by Amazon and they posted the listing too soon, since there's only the Kindle version up in both the american and the brazilian stores and the publisher hasn't posted about the pre-order yet. It's either Two Dots or Desenho Editorial, but neither would post about it until the official announcement. Lele Mj Green Squadron (Holoprojector) 06:12, September 11, 2017 (UTC)

Imperial defectorsEdit

Maybe there could be another category added? Because, as I understand it, the majority of those who defected from the Empire did either join or assist the Rebellion. SilverSunbird (talk) 20:44, October 1, 2017 (UTC)

Comics Edit

I guess that could be something we could add, though I think we should get more opinions before we start anything --Lewisr (talk) 16:59, October 4, 2017 (UTC)

  • Oh yeah that's easy work, all it requires is just going back and doing it --Lewisr (talk) 17:16, October 4, 2017 (UTC)
    • Sure! Won't be right away but it'll get done --Lewisr (talk) 18:29, October 4, 2017 (UTC)
      • I've made a start on these, (hadn't forgotten!), if you check marvels website you can see any details you may not have --Lewisr (talk) 03:50, October 12, 2017 (UTC)

Reply Edit

Hey I have no idea what to say haha, is the preview still up on amazon? --Lewisr (talk) 21:09, October 6, 2017 (UTC)

  • It appears Tallie's page has been deleted anyway --Lewisr (talk) 21:14, October 6, 2017 (UTC)
    • I'm sure someone like User:Jkirk8907 might make the page, if not then I can make it in the next couple days or so, until that A-wing book is released or we get a preview again I think we'll have to make do with the limited info we have --Lewisr (talk) 23:19, November 11, 2017 (UTC)

RE: Template:IDWAdventures Edit

Hi, sorry I didn't noticed your message until now, I see that you based the template in the Tales one, (I always found that template a bit to large) I guess we could change it to the initial template, but I still think its not worth it, especially since its just 2 stories, but If you want you can go ahead and revert it, I don't have a problem with that (honestly at that moment I forgot about the Tales template) and also you can ask another user of what they think about the template and see others' opinions. Have a nice day--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 00:15, October 14, 2017 (UTC)

  • I tend to think that the template Ruiz came up with is better, I agree that the original one was way too big, if there was a way to reduce the length of the title names for the stories then maybe we could use the original template --Lewisr (talk) 21:03, October 14, 2017 (UTC)

Tarkin imagesEdit

Hi Zapik, thanks for uploading a better version of the Tarkin image, I really appreciate it. If you get the chance to do any others, I feel these these two would greatly benefit from the better colouring. Don't worry if you don't have time, it's just I'm awful with images and when I tried to change them it just turned out yellow! Thanks in advance if you can! - Tommy-Macaroni Imperial Emblem (Talk) 14:57, October 27, 2017 (UTC)

  • That's okay, thanks for having a go at improving them! - Tommy-Macaroni Imperial Emblem (Talk) 15:06, October 27, 2017 (UTC)

RE: First Order shuttle from the Poe Dameron comic in TLJ Edit

Apologies just got home, but it does appear to be the same one, it appeared in Poe Dameron 19 --Lewisr (talk) 23:39, October 27, 2017 (UTC)

Separatist Assassin Droid Edit

Hey Zapik, I was wondering if you could tell me what Force Arena says about the SD-K4 assassin droid in-universe wise. I can’t seem to find the unit in my game. Thanks! - Imperial Information Office AV-6R7Crew Pit 08:49, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

  • There should be an "i" button next to their name in their profile, which gives you IU info on the subject. I know that you're working on adding the cards to the article itself, so maybe you could start recording this IU stuff as well. - Imperial Information Office AV-6R7Crew Pit 18:22, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

Merenzane Gold Edit

Hey do you know anyway to either make the image for Merenzane Gold bigger? Or is there anything else from the game? The current one is proper small --Lewisr (talk) 19:35, November 16, 2017 (UTC)

  • Fair enough, I suspected that the image would get pixelated if made bigger. Unless someone has gotten a shot of it before the weekend, then I'll see what I can do over the weekend when I get a copy of the game --Lewisr (talk) 19:52, November 16, 2017 (UTC)
    • I haven't been able to get anything decent sorry, have you? --Lewisr (talk) 00:27, November 20, 2017 (UTC)

Oops I accidentally put pink in the eye section. I meant to put pink in the fur color section. Unsigned comment by Jpercy (talk • contribs).

First Order AT-AT Edit

Hi. Is there a reason why this should be a separate article instead of being covered on the All Terrain Armored Transport page? Cheers, Imperators II(Talk) 10:06, November 21, 2017 (UTC)

RE: Webcomics Edit

Hi, The tag said that it was about a product that has neither been released nor officially canceled in more than two years, the manga was announced this year, that's why I removed it. The manga is still on development, on December 1st the artist was announced and the manga is scheduled for a 2018 release. I forgot to add the future product tag, but the both mangas are still in development--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 17:37, December 6, 2017 (UTC)

  • Yeah when the voting process began the submissions were published on the website so the users could vote. Since the contest was for both of them and there was just a winner I supposed that the same artist would be for both--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:51, December 6, 2017 (UTC)
    • I use a VPN to access the page, there's some reports that sometimes that doesn't work to access LINE page, but I never had a problem--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:19, December 6, 2017 (UTC)

TLJ Visual Dictionary images Edit

  • Hi Zapik, could you please stop uploading images from the leaked Visual Dictionary. The book has not been released yet and Wookieepedia doesn't support piracy. I'm going to ask for the ones you've already uploaded to be deleted, feel free to re-upload them once the book is officially released on the 15th. Ayrehead02 (talk) 22:18, December 10, 2017 (UTC)
    • Sorry, ignore me! I was totally unaware of the Canto Bight exclusive edition and had avoided clicking onto the files as I didn't want to see the names. My bad. Ayrehead02 (talk) 22:25, December 10, 2017 (UTC)

Reliable sources Edit

Hello. I'm sending you this message after coming across the Untitled Solo: A Star Wars Story Replica Journal article, which uses Jedi-Bibliothek as the only source for its validation. Up to now, it has been a common practice of yours and other editors to create articles on upcoming books using Jedi-Bibliothek as the reference. The problem is, Jedi-Bibliothek is not an authoritative source. They are a fan site that collates information from other marketplace websites, mostly Amazon. You will see, for example, on their page for this book that the infobox lists a "Nachschlagen auf" field (translated to "Look up") that lists three different Amazon links, where they are presumably taking this information from. That is what you need to use as your reference for creating these articles, not Jedi-Bibliothek itself. The same is true for any referencing used in any article -- Jedi-Bibliothek is not a source of information. I'm placing the {{Verify}} tag on this Solo book article and will do the same from now on for any other article I see created using Jedi-Bibliothek as a source. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 05:57, January 3, 2018 (UTC)

Sources Edit

Hi, I tagged File:PoeDameron-23.jpg, File:StarWarsAdventures-FoD-Ahsoka&Padmé-A-Final.jpg and File:StarWarsAdventures-FoD-Ahsoka&Padme-A.jpg with the verify template, since they use as a source JediBibliothek which is not a valid source as said before. You need to look for a more reliable source like IDW, Amazon, Previews among other retailers or a news website that obtained the covers as "exclusives". I think Bibliothek has the link for them so if you change it to a valid source that would be great. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:32, January 12, 2018 (UTC)

RE: Storybook library Edit

I'd say they could probably get their own pages. Some of them exist if I'm not mistaken though, Rescue from Jabba's Palace, AT-AT Attack!, unless it is something completely new and different? --Lewisr (talk) 23:58, January 20, 2018 (UTC)

If you had notice that nobody has looked at category pages in a long time plus the order was by publication date first issues then volumes.--Rgilbert27 (talk) 17:10, January 24, 2018 (UTC)

Sources Edit

Hi again I know you like to use Jedi-Bibliothek as a source, but per Attribution policy you need to use an english source if its available. For the IDW April releases there's sources in english that have that information for example Newsarama. I know Bibliothek makes easier to find that type of information, but we need to help reader find a source in their language. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:03, January 24, 2018 (UTC)

RE:Authorial intent Edit

Since it doesn't comes from an official medium it can't be considered as a source even if its an Interview on youtube. Anyways I asked the admins on IRC about it and the answer is the same "The policy specifically calls out authorial intent as not being valid" since the author intent is not going through the Story Group--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:17, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

  • That's a good question, not really sure about that.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:12, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

Adventures Annual 2018 Edit

Hey, Zapik! Is there a reason you've moved Star Wars Adventures (IDW) Annual 2018? The naming policy says parenthetical descriptors should be avoided, except in cases of conflicting page names. - Cwedin(talk) 20:17, February 5, 2018 (UTC)

  • Oh, ok. I hadn't considered template compatibility. Thanks for clearing that up! - Cwedin(talk) 20:28, February 5, 2018 (UTC)

File names Edit

You can change the file names, in case you didn't see I replied on the other users talk page with an example of how --Lewisr (talk) 19:01, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

Epic Collection fix request. Edit

I added in two sections for the newly announced entries to the Epic Collection. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it got the table wonky, so can you fix it up and tell me what I did wrong so I can make sure to avoid it in the future? Weedle McHairybug (talk) 21:29, March 26, 2018 (UTC)

Warning: Attribution Edit

Hello. Please consider this your formal warning regarding the creation of articles and the misapplication of Jedi-Bibiliothek as a reliable source. You have been warned about this no less than three times now over the past year and a half, so I won't repeat what you can already find for yourself on your talk page. Continuation of this will result in a block from editing. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:43, August 27, 2019 (UTC)
