Uviuy Exen was a world[4] located in the Colonies[1] and the Interior.[2] It was situated in grid square L-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The super-hyperroute[5] known as the Hydian Way linked Uviuy Exen to the Brentaal System in the Core Worlds as well as to the Inner Rim Territories[1] world[6] Champala.[1] In addition, it was connected to Palanhi by the Shwuy Exchange hyperspace route.[3]
Around 9 ABY,[7] while the astronomer[8] Kh'ymm was searching her archive of worlds on the Observatory Moon in order to determine the potential location of the lost planet At Attin, Uviuy Exen's name was listed on her computer screen among other worlds.[4] In 34 ABY,[9] several screens aboard Chandrila Star Line's Star Cruiser Halcyon displayed a partial map of the galaxy that indicated Uviuy Exen's position.[10]
Behind the scenes[]
Uviuy Exen was introduced in the current Star Wars canon in the fifty-second issue of the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[11] published around December 30, 2015.[12] Uviuy Exen's first in-universe appearance came in the form of being depicted on a map viewable in Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, an immersive roleplaying experience at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida[10] that opened to the public on March 1, 2022.[13] The planet Uviuy Exen was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 1989 Imperial Sourcebook, written by Greg Gorden and published by West End Games for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[14]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian" of The Mandalorian Season One to 9 ABY. In addition,
"A Certain Point of View" — Star Wars Insider 228 also dates "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" to nine years after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which corresponds to 9 ABY per Timelines. "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" takes place after the conflict on Mandalore, which is the main event depicted in "Chapter 23: The Spies" and "Chapter 24: The Return," the final two episodes of The Mandalorian Season Three. Therefore, Seasons One through Three of The Mandalorian must all be set in 9 ABY as well.
SWCA 2022: 20 Highlights from Lucasfilm's Studio Showcase on StarWars.com (backup link) states that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew takes place in the same timeframe as The Mandalorian and Ahsoka—the latter of which can also be dated to 9 ABY following the reasoning here. As such, Skeleton Crew must take place around 9 ABY as well.
