The VLD2261 long-range heavy blaster defense battery was a type of emplaced defensive weapons used by the Galactic Republic and Galactic Empire.[1]
Several of them were built into the Emperor Palpatine Surgical Reconstruction Center, where they were manned by Royal Guards.[1]
