Vatleria was a foggy planet located within the Vatleria system of the Outer Rim Territories.

History

During the last decades of the Galactic Republic, it was abandoned, its inhabitants moving to the Core Worlds. The Galactic Empire established a base on the abandoned planet. A Rebel team tried to overthrow the Imperial garrison there but was defeated by Darth Vader.

Behind the scenes

The name "Vatleria" is an anagram of Latveria, the homeland of the Fantastic Four supervillain Doctor Doom. This Tales story itself is a parody of the Fantastic Four.
