Vector Prime

The progress of the Yuuzhan Vong War from Vector Prime to the Battle of Fondor

Vector Prime was a Yuuzhan Vong term for the point in the Outer Rim Territories from which they invaded the galaxy. It was close to outer edges of the Dalonbian sector, near the Helska system.

The extra-galactic invasion started in Vector Prime as it was the only entry point known to the Yuuzhan Vong fleet that did not require use of the Force to penetrate the galaxy's circumferential hyperspace barrier. However, other Yuuzhan Vong suggested it had been chosen due to its proximity to the New Republic and Imperial Remnant border, which made both parties less able to respond.
