Vekki was a female Jedi Initiate in the Bantha Clan at the Jedi Adademy on Ossus. In 40 ABY, she (along with the rest of the Academy's students) was marched out to the Academy's courtyard by Galactic Alliance Guard troops under the command of Major Salle Serpa. When, at Jaina Solo's signal, the students struck back against the GAG troops, Serpa used Vekki as a shield, threatening the young girl's life as he attempted to make his escape. She was rescued by the Jedi Knight Zekk.
