―Omega discovers Ventress' ship[3]

Ventress' ship was a[2] starfighter[1] used by[2] the Sith apprentice[4]–turned–bounty hunter Asajj Ventress during the Imperial Era. Primarily white in color with some darker trim on the wings, the ship was 20.3 meters wide, with a unique silhouette due to the uneven wings on either side of its 9.1-meter-long fuselage. The longer right side featured a winglet while the shorter left side ended with a squatter wingtip. Three engines were arranged on either side of the fuselage for a total of six. Ventress used its proton torpedo launchers to evade dangerous Imperial entanglements.[2]

Ventress' ship on Pabu

Around 18 BBY,[5] Ventress traveled to[3] the planet[4] Pabu after fellow bounty hunter Fennec Shand alerted her of a squad of clones known as Clone Force 99 wanting to learn about the Empire's M-count bounties. Ventress discreetly landed her ship in a cave at the cove on Pabu island until she was discovered by the clone Omega and her lurca hound companion Batcher. A tentative understanding formed between Ventress and the former Republic soldiers as the Force-sensitive assessed Omega's own Force-sensitivity. However, when Omega ran off to retrieve a blossom from the weeping maya tree, the clones, who had confirmed that Ventress was a former Separatist assassin, confronted Ventress, with the clone Wrecker telling her to get in her ship and leave before they would force her to. The two parties then fought until Omega returned and convinced her squad to trust Ventress. After Ventress finished working with Omega, she departed Pabu in her ship.[3]

Behind the scenes[]

Ventress' ship first appeared in "The Harbinger,"[3] the ninth episode in the third season of the animated television series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which premiered on March 27, 2024.[6] The ship was identified in the StarWars.com Databank.[2] In the StarWars.com episode guide for "The Harbinger," Ventress' ship was spelled as "Ventress's ship." A lighting concept of the ship was illustrated by artist Molly Denmark for the production.[7]
