A verbobrain was a type of processing unit that could be found in certain protocol droids. Examples of verbobrains include the AA-1 verbobrain used in Cybot Galactica's 3PO line, and the AA-5 verbobrain used by AD-4M. After Darth Vader informed Princess Leia Organa that the Galactic Senate had been disbanded and she was thus no longer a Senator, it shocked her so badly that she lost her desire to insult him by comparing him with a protocol droid that was missing crucial parts of its verbobrain.[1]
