A verbobrain was a type of processing unit that could be found in certain protocol droids. After Darth Vader informed Princess Leia Organa that the Galactic Senate had been disbanded and she was thus no longer a Senator, it shocked her so badly that she lost her desire to insult him by comparing him with a protocol droid that was missing crucial parts of its verbobrain.[1]
