Verroth was a terrestrial astronomical object. By the time of the then-ongoing struggle between the reconstituted Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, a slicer who had stolen prototype designs for a new shuttle from[1] the starship manufacturer[2] Zentine Dynamics hid on Verroth.[1]
By 3643 BBY,[3] an individual affiliated with one of the two sides in the conflict between the Republic and the Empire sent a companion to Verroth to retrieve the shuttle designs from the slicer. The companion traveled to Verroth, where they sliced into the slicer's computers and recovered the designs. They also destroyed his files and stole certain items from a valuable cache of tech data.[1]

Verroth was mentioned in BioWare's 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic within the Crew Skill Mission "Corporate Espionage," though the information regarding the mission's outcome was later removed from the video game.[1]
