Veruna was one[2] of three moons that orbited the planet of Naboo.[4] It shared its name[2] with King Ars Veruna,[5] who reigned over the Naboo before Padmé Amidala.[6]

Veruna first appeared in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace and was later identified in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia. In Star Wars Legends, The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia identified the moon as Ohma-D'un.
