Viceprex was a title used within Sienar Fleet Systems. By 13 BBY, the development executive Melanah Sal Graeff held the title of Viceprex. In her role she frequently visited Sienar Fleet Systems factories on the planet Corellia and met with government officials there to discuss reducing export taxation rates.[2] Viceprex was also a high rank within the Corporate Sector Authority, the governing body of the Outer Rim's Corporate Sector. A viceprex maintained authority over a specific subdivision—anything from territorial managers to legal, research and security departments.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Viceprex was first used in the new Star Wars canon in the 2018 reference book Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[2] The title was previously used in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first used in the 1979 novel Han Solo at Stars' End, which was written by Brian Daley.[3]
