Viella Zall was a singer on the HoloNet[1] galactic communications grid.[2] Using local wildlife, Dalan Reid contructed replicas of Zall in the dozens. Reid's work began after he spent twelve years in isolation, becoming increasingly mentally imbalanced due to the illegality of his job as a veteran identity slicer. The slicer used the replicas for a spontaneous concert on[1] the planet[3] Tatooine, where he was apprehended[1] by 3630 BBY.[4]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Viella Zall was mentioned in the Codex entry for Identity Slicers in the 2015 expansion Knights of the Fallen Empire to the 2011 massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic by the company BioWare.[1]

  4. According to SWTOR mini.png Forums: Dear Story Team, What Year Are We Currently In? on The Old Republic's official website (backup link) the events of the Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion from Chapter IX onwards take place in 3630 BBY. Therefore, Game Update 4.3: Visions in the Dark, which saw the release of the expansion's Chapter XII, can also be placed in 3630 BBY. Since the Identity Slicers Codex entry, which mentions Viella Zall, was added with Game Update 4.3, it can be placed in that same year, as well.
