This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

"I really enjoy thinking about how to tell my own version of Star Wars, while keeping in mind the concepts of the original universe."
―Peach Momoko[2]

Visions – Peach Momoko 1 is a one-shot comic book within the Star Wars: Visions project. The issue was written and illustrated by Peach Momoko and published by Marvel Comics in November 15, 2023.

Publisher's summary[]

PEACH MOMOKO BRINGS HER UNIQUE STORYTELLING TO A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY! CENTURIES after the death of a GREAT DARK SITH LORD, a cult has grown worshipping this SITH LORD and the DARK SIDE. ANKOK believes she is the successor to the LEGACY of THE SITH with her DARK SIDE POWERS! But is she truly in tune with THE FORCE? Or is she just exploiting the people in her village? KAKO and GEL are about to come face-to-face with the truth…even if it kills them!

Development[]

The character Popo was created by Momoko years before the comic was written and was not originally designed for it. Momoko had always wanted to see the character in a comic and felt that this was the perfect opportunity. Except for the first page, which briefly explains the setting and each of the characters, there are no words in the comic. Originally, Momoko had written dialogue, but she felt that made the story more confusing, so she redid almost all thirty pages while keeping the same concept and story.[3]

Continuity[]

The publisher's summary mistakenly refers to Tata as Ankok.
