Vjun was a planet[4] located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories in grid square Q-6 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] situated between Lucazec and Phindar along the Salin Corridor hyperspace route.[2] In the wake of the Emergences of the Great Hyperspace Disaster during the High Republic Era, Vjun was among many locations in the Outer Rim whose hospitals were overrun with victims.[3] It was home to the famous tailors who wove Count Dooku's elegant cloak.[4]

Vjun was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, a 2014 reference book written by Adam Bray, Kerrie Dougherty, Cole Horton, and Michael Kogge.[5] It was originally created for the 1995 Star Wars Legends comic Dark Empire II 6, written by Tom Veitch and pencilled by Cam Kennedy.[6]
