The Vor'cha stun stick was a weapon used by the Aing-Tii monks. It resembled a wooden stick wrapped in silvery wire and delivered a powerful energy charge that could render a victim unconscious. The Vor'cha were able to penetrate armor and electrocute a victim regardless of what they were wearing.
Behind the scenes
Vor'cha is the name of a Klingon vessel from Star Trek, which was introduced in 1990. Further, the stun stick bears some similarities to the painstik, a Klingon ceremonial weapon.
