The Vorantis was a starship owened by the pilot Brantis Mo Fresk.[1] In 7 ABY,[2] Mo Fresk participated in the Karee Blockade Clutch in his ship where he beat the starship Brightfox. Later that year, the New Republic operative Han Solo and his friend Lando Calrissian visited Frander's Bay—a space station that orbited the Core Worlds planet Chandrila—in search of an unaffiliated pilot to hire. The barker of Mo Fresk—who offered his services as a pilot at Frander's Bay—mentioned the Vorantis and Mo Fresk's victory over the Brightfox in the Karee Blockade Clutch into one of Solo's ears. Solo and Calrissian ultimately hired the pilot Taka Jamoreesa.[1]
