"When I was nearly captured in the Lorn system some time ago, it was the Sandwind operatives who helped me find the Vuzsa safehouse and hole up until Moff Murquan gave up on me…"
―Tiree, personal addendum to Rebel Task Force on Alliance Security SecuriDex file on the "Jundland Banshee"[src]

Vuzsa was an Outer Rim Territories world located in the Arkanis sector. It served as a refueling point for starships traveling along the Trans Gulf Route hyperlane. During the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance maintained a safehouse at Vuzsa, at which the Rebel agent Tiree once hid in order to evade capture by the Galactic Empire.

Vuzsa was a nondescript world located in the Vuzsa system, a part of the Arkanis sector in the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It was situated in the nearly starless void known as the Gulf of Tatooine and was located on the Trans Gulf Route hyperlane, which linked it to the Pii and Piroket systems.[1]

The Rebel agent Tiree once hid out at a Vuzsa safehouse.

Vuzsa served as a refueling point for starships making the long run along the Trans Gulf Route.[1] During the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance maintained a safehouse at Vuzsa.[2]

At some point by 2 ABY,[3] Moff Murquan of the Galactic Empire nearly captured the Rebel agent Tiree in the[2] Dalchon sector's[4] Lorn system. At that point, the Alliance's Sandwind group, based out of the Arkanis sector planet Tatooine, helped Tiree locate the Vuzsa safehouse, allowing him to wait out until the Imperials stopped looking for him. Tiree eventually relayed the incident in a personal addendum to the Rebel Task Force on Alliance Security's SecuriDex datafile on the rogue Tusken Raider known as the "Jundland Banshee."[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Vuzsa was introduced via mention of the Vuzsa safehouse in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas established Vuzsa as a distinct world and placed it in grid square R-16.[1]
