The W-series droideka was a series of droideka battle droid that was used by the Separatist Droid Army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The W-series droideka succeeded the P-series droideka that was used by the Trade Federation during the Invasion of Naboo,[1] and the W-series participated in the First Battle of Geonosis, the first action of the Clone Wars.[2] The W-series droideka became obsolete when the Q-series droideka was introduced later in the conflict.[1]
