WG-22, styled as Gonk Gladiator,[4] was a modified EG-series power droid[2][1] made by Ralakili to be a gladiator droid to fight in his droid fighting pits inside Fort Ypso on Vandor. The droid's mechanical limbs could puncture metal with devastating might powered by electricity produced in his interior power cells.[5] In 10 BBY,[2] his fight[3] with FD3-MN[2] was interrupted by the protests of L3-37 for droid rights, which cost WG-22 dearly.[5]
Behind the scenes[]
The droid was one of several characters in the film portrayed by Star Wars veteran Warwick Davis.[6]
